Chapters 184. Resigning

Arriving at the office, Alvaro headed straight to his room followed by the assistant behind him.

From yesterday, he noticed the look on Jun's face. It seemed that the man's expression was friendlier than before. If yesterday-yesterday the assistant always put on a stiff face with a hardened jaw. But not this time. June looks more friendly.

"Have you just won the jackpot with a big catch? Your face looks like the morning sun" Alvaro said.

"It can be said that way, sir." Jun blurs while smacking his smile.

"Is there something I missed that I don't know about?" alvaro asked folded his hands forward, looking at the assistant with his gaze.

"N-nothing is missed? W-what did Mr Alvaro miss?" ask June with a stammering tone.

"You're suspicious! All right, I'll find my own year later," Alvaro said, entering the elevator. The assistant was also trailing behind the man.

"How is the cooperation with Pact Tirta? It seems he was very angry that Mr. Alvaro left him all of a sudden" asked Jun.

"He's too proud, I don't like him very much. I won't cooperate with anyone who doubts my performance. Someday, I will prove that the project I worked on this time really worked. I will make him regret that he underestimated me" Alvaro said.

The elevator doors opened, and the two handsome men came out of the room. While walking towards the room, they passed by Shinta's desk first. Alvaro glanced at Shinta, finding the girl tucking her hair into her ear. Then Alvaro's gaze turned to the assistant who seemed to be smiling in a knot towards Shinta.

Alvaro slightly looked at the interaction of the two . Shinta lowered her head, paying homage to her superior.

"Is there anything between you?" asked Alvaro raising his eyebrows next door.

"Well?!" Shinta and Jun were instantly dumbfounded. At the same time, the two immediately refuted Alvaro's words.

"N-no! Nothing happened between us" Shinta and Juni said.

Alvaro just nodded his head, but do not expect if he will believe the words of both. Because of their movements, Alvaro can already guess if the two have something to try to hide.

"You hid it from me, but you also made it very clear" said Alvaro.

"Yes, then continue your work" Alvaro said.

"Good, sir." Both of them spoke and bowed their heads.

"It looks like you guys are in a match, since then continue to do the same thing," chirped Alvaro who then walked into his room.

In that place, there are Shinta and Juni. The two people stared at the door that was in front of them closed. Shinta and Jun glanced at each other then gave her smile.

"The words of Mr. Alvaro were .. I put them in my heart" said June.

"Me too," Shinta replied until the two men were giggling.

"Yes, then I'll go back to my desk" said Shinta.

"Happy work," said June.

"You too." Shinta smiled, then turned towards her desk. The girl still glanced at the lover who was also slowly stepping away.

June, either the man feels puberty a second time. In the past, he felt in love with Sela, but this time it was a little different. He behaves a little childish. Perhaps because of the effects of love long enough buried. Until it makes itself a slave of love as said by children today.

While walking to his desk, June meets the man who used to be his rival. The man smiled towards June, then walked away from the front of June.

Jun sniffed his shoulders, he stepped back like nothing had happened. However, a voice from behind stopped his footsteps.

Hearing this, Jun stopped his steps, he turned to look at the man who had just prevented him.

"What's wrong?" ask June.

"alright. When?" ask June.

"At lunch hour. It's okay if I take your time for a while" Daren said.

Jun seemed to be pondering, a moment later he nodded his head, agreeing to Daren's invitation.

"In the office rooftop," said Daren who then smiled and resumed his footsteps.

Jun looked at Daren's back which was getting smaller and smaller. "Ck! He should have taken me to the restaurant to treat me to a meal," June grumbled, shaking her head. The man also returned to move his legs that had been delayed by Daren earlier.

In his room, Alvaro was seriously staring at his computer screen. Checking sales reports from day to day is increasing. Both corners of his lips were slightly raised looking at the ever-increasing percentage.

"Pak Tirta the old man underestimated me. Even a new project a few days run has shown quite satisfactory results," said Alvaro smiling triumphantly.

His attenuation was distracted when he heard the sound of knocking on the door. Alvaro invited the man to enter. He saw a tall man with a thin mustache that became his trademark.

"What's wrong?" alvaro looked at the employee.

"I'm sorry for interrupting Mr. Alvaro's time. I want to give this to you" said Daren who immediately handed over a map.

Alvaro receives the map, which turns out to be Daren's resignation letter. Alvaro stared at Daren carefully as he placed the map on his desk.

"You want to stop working?" ask Alvaro.

"Yes, Sir. I thank Mr. Alvaro a lot for accepting me here. During my time at my father's company, I learned many things and gained valuable experience" Daren explained.

"What makes you want to stop working? Is it because of my secretary?" asked Alvaro who seemed to have guessed the actual circumstances.

Daren raised both corners of her lips, "I decided to stop working because I wanted to get married" Daren said.

However, that is not the main factor Daren stopped working. Daren's real reason is to stay away from Shinta. He wanted to forget the girl. If he meets constantly with Shinta, perhaps he will again snatch Shinta from June's hands. Shinta's happiness is June. And Daren is just obsessed with unrequited love. He did not want this to happen a second time.

"Well, if it's your decision, I can't ban it either. Letting go of you is also hard for me. Because you are considered a tenacious employee even though a few days yesterday you had a fight," said Alvaro who made Daren smile.

"I congratulate you on your marriage. Happy new life and good luck always" continued Alvaro.

"Thank you very much, sir." Daren smile.

After he finished giving his resignation letter, Daren immediately said goodbye to Alvaro.

The man stepped out of Alvaro's room. His eyes caught Shinta looking at him. It felt like Daren was approaching the girl and hugging Shinta tightly. Calling on the girl that the decision she is taking right now is very heavy.

However, even though Daren yelled even in front of Shinta, it would not change anything. So it's useless to do that stupid thing. However, Daren will not be able to become Juni, the man whom he loves so much.

Daren commented on her smile staring at Shinta. The girl behind her desk returned the smile that Jun had thrown for her.

Daren just left without saying a word. Leaving Shinta just like that. The man got into the elevator, he raised his head while exhaling the oxygen supply in his lungs. Trying to calm himself from the tightness that until now still affects him.

"The decision I took was the right thing. Rest assured, this pain is only temporary. Later also I can forget him," muttered Daren suggestive of him.

The elevator door opened, he went back to his desk. He did nothing today. Pack the things on the desk, while looking around. People who seem to be busy with their work.

After putting his things into a medium-sized cardboard box, Daren walked out of the building. He put his things in the car. Choose to stay in the car while waiting for lunch time, to talk a little with the man who was once a rival.
