Ch 139's. Chances

Luigi got up early and knocked on Natalia's door.

"She, I'm ready."

"I told you I didn't want to go!" natalia's answer sounded from the direction in the room.

"Oh, come. You're gonna let those two chatty girls keep telling you? And Mrs Amber kept asking you why I didn't take you out for morning exercise."

Natalia did not answer. He walked back and forth in the room. Last night at dinner, Luigi had already said his plan to take Natalia for a morning walk. The habit Natalia stopped because of the whispers of the chatty Da Costa twin girls. Nat wants to exercise again like before, breathe fresh air while enjoying the view of the lake. But he was lazy to face the two twin girls.

"Nat ... Nat." Luigi kept calling.

"Go!"

"I'm not leaving without you" Luigi knocked again.

Natalia stared at the door that Luigi kept knocking in a rhythmic manner.

"Maat ...."

Jeez .. I didn't think he was so annoying. Natalia cursed in the heart. She opened the closet and pulled up the sweatpants and a loose t-shirt that was comfortable to wear for her pregnant condition.

"Maat ...." Luigi kept knocking. It was as if it would not stop until his wish was fulfilled.

The door opened suddenly. Showing Natalia coming out while scowling. His eyes stared intently at Luigi who was smiling widely.

"Come on" said Luigi. The man was wearing a light blue short-sleeved shirt with shorts.

After saying goodbye to Laura, they went down the front steps and walked down the sidewalk.

"You run if you want to run. I'll just walk."

"I want to exercise with you, Nat. Not jogging alone." Luigi stepped up Natalia. He moved both his hands up while stepping.

"When are we back, Nat? I'm gonna do an examination on our baby. It's not that I don't trust the doctor you chose. I-i know him. He's a good doctor. But I want to do it myself in my hospital."

Natalia was silent, but her ears that heard Luigi say the word 'our baby' made her heart feel warm.

"You never asked her gender?"

Natalia shakes. He did not tell Luigi that the last time he checked was when he was five months old. Now it's eight months and he's never checked again. Natalia wishes her baby was healthy and well.

"When did you last check?"

Natalia did not answer Luigi's question.

"Nat .. answer me. Or I'll take you home with or without your consent to check on your pregnancy myself."

Natalia kept her mouth locked. Luigi clucked and thought about what persuasion he should say when someone greeted him from behind.

"Hi, Doc! Hi Nat! We first ..."

Luigi and Natalia turned their heads and pulled over a little. Let Mr and Mrs. Smith passed them.

"Yes, Jake. Partner slowly. I have to compensate!" luigi said with a small laugh and waved her hand. Jake Smith was seen running as he turned his head back towards Luigi.

"Today we're off for a quick fight, Doctor. Or your beautiful wife will be mad at me for making you leave her alone on the day she returns to her morning sport."

Mr. Smith waved his hand before running back after his wife who was already far ahead.

Luigi turned his head and looked at Natalia's face deliberately. Natalia ignored him, but she felt that Luigi's eyes were not turning, even after a few minutes.

"Seek your steps. See way! Don't look at my face!"

"Jake is right ...."

"Whatchu mean? I told you not to pand....." Natalia stopped talking, she decided to walk faster and left Luigi to shy away from the man's gaze. But Luigi returned to his steps with ease.

"Jake just said you were beautiful. I just want to see if he's right or not" Luigi said.

Natalia's steps stopped. He narrowed his eyes at Luigi who was seen carefully examining his face.

"There's no powder. Not even lipstick. No make up .. and ...."

Natalia stared, honestly she was a bit curious how Luigi himself thinks about her without makeup.

An amused smile was on Luigi's lips. Makes Natalia squint.

"You look like a chatty girl who judges with your expression ever since you got out of the house. But Jake's right .. You're beautiful."

Natalia answered with a loud snort and began to move quickly away from her husband. As quickly as possible avoid Luigi not to see the red hue that began to rise to his face.

Oh, no. This obnoxious doctor is starting to be sweet.

They arrived at a park area built near the lake. Natalia went straight to the garden guardrail and raised both her hands high. The fresh morning air blew on her face, making Natalia smile and close her eyes to enjoy the blow. If it wasn't for the Da Costa twins, he wouldn't have missed his morning show to this place. Natalia loves the morning atmosphere in the park with a very beautiful view of the lake.

Next to where Natalia was standing, there was a seat of artificial stone. Lined in several places along the garden guardrail. Luigi sat on the seat looking up, staring at the smiling face of Natalia looking towards the lake. The woman's hair was a mess around her face.

Luigi reached out one hand, pulling Natalia closer.

"What ... hey!" Natalia shouted out in protest. His body was dragged until he was in front of Luigi's legs. He looked down and saw the man looking up at him with narrowed eyes.

"You better not protest. Or the annoying twin who once mocked you would have other material to gossip about."

Natalia's eyes looked dark. The corners of his lips said stiffly.

"Where are they?"

"Walking over here with a very curious face." Then suddenly Luigi's arm coiled to Natalia's waist. The man's face was right in front of his enlarged stomach. The kiss was done by the man on the left abdomen, then moved to his right.

"Daddy can finally kiss you .. Daddy actually wants to do it every day. But your Mommy is stubborn" whispered Luigi on the side of Natalia's belly.

"Hello, Doctor!" greet the twin girls. Natalia looked behind her back. Realizing the Da Costa twins did not greet him at all, just greeting Luigi alone.

Luigi peeked out from behind Natalia's stomach. Intentionally still confining Natalia with his arm.

"Oh, hi Linda! Lindsey!" greet Luigi. He put on a big smile.

"What are you doing, Doc?" ask one of the twins. Nat doesn't know who asked between them.

"I'm talking to the baby" said Luigi, deliberately peeping again the side of Natalia's belly.

"Sweet ... Does your baby answer that, Doc?" ask one of the girls while giggling.

Luigi felt Natalia's body stiffen. The woman looked down at him with narrowed eyes.

"Well .. I think the baby is listening" Luigi said. He then took off Natalia and directed the woman's hip to sit next to him. Natalia immediately put on a cheerful and happy face.

Don't let them see me as uncomfortable, reluctant or upset. I have to go on a little theatrical run, or these annoying twin girls will insult me even more. Natalia wrapped her hand around Luigi's arm. Her shoulder part was deliberately attached to the side of Luigi's body. She placed her cheek on her husband's upper arm.

With raised eyebrows, Nat looked at the Da Costa twins. But he did not say hello, nor did he intentionally speak. If the twins thought it was the wind then, then he could also avenge the two. Natalia's hair was raised and stuck to her cheeks. "Mrs Amber ... Nat would be so embarrassed to answer your question. But I won't be ashamed to answer it for you ...." Luigi smiled amusedly and winked at Madam Amber.

"What's the reason, Doctor? I thought Nat stopped coming here because of the nyinyir mouths of girls who didn't know how to be polite to others, who always insinuated him for coming here only with Laura." Madam Amber looked at the twins who were looking back at her with annoyance. Know that they are the ones being insinuated as those disrespectful girls.

"Then you came to the Crystal Clear, but you were always seen running alone in the morning. You've been doing it long enough. Did you manage to seduce him today to come along, Doctor?"

Luigi laughed at Mrs Amber's tone. You know Mrs Amber criticized the two twin girls of Da Costa.

"You know, Mrs Amber ... Nat insisted he wanted to come here when he entered the third trimester of his pregnancy. And I can't just leave my job at the hospital. Luigi nodded. "When I came here, we hadn't seen each other in weeks. So you can imagine the nights I spent with Nat to give up longing. I made her tired and could not get up early," Luigi slipped a proud tone in her voice. He felt Natalia's grip tighten around his arm.

Natalia felt her face hot hearing Luigi's babble.

"Oh my goodness .. That's why you're always here alone." Madam Amber giggled amusedly, looking at the red hue creeping across Natalia's face.

Luigi blinked his eyes." What can I do, Mrs Amber. Nat always hasn't woken up and I can't bear to wake him up just so he can be seen coming with me here."

"You're lucky Natalia. Got a handsome husband and now waiting for the birth of your baby." Then Mrs Amber turned to the twins. " You better take care of other people's problems, Twins. In order to focus on getting a good guy willing to sacrifice himself for an annoying chatty girl like the two of you!"

Linda and Lindsay heard a snort, then selflessly turned around and left the area.

"Ck! Spoiled girls! I know what they did to you so you stop coming here, Dear," Mrs Amber told Nat.

Natalia smiled with gratitude. He did like to chat with the nimble middle-aged woman when he still routinely came to this place every morning.

"I'm glad you asked her, Doctor. After all, the sight of a beautiful woman who had once been a famous model on the edge of this lake was a rare sight. Especially with her pregnancy, she looks even more beautiful and attractive."

After batting her eyes at Natalia, Lady Amber said goodbye. Not bothering the two young couples. Natalia's mind was bright, remembering the peaceful moments she felt when she first came to this place, before the fun was destroyed by Da Costa's twin girls.

Luigi felt his heart thump with a pleasure that he was hard to explain. Natalia still leaned on him. The twins and Mrs Amber have passed. He did not dare to move, even adjusting his breathing as slowly as possible. As if afraid to break the spell that was encircling Natalia at this time.

Luigi stared at the top of Natalia's head, then slowly looked up. A pair of large, clear eyes stared at him.

The two stared at each other for a long time, flashes of events flashed in their minds about the relationship they were in, the relationship they were in, the relationship that was forged due to a foul plan, the relationship that went through with a cold, rigid, attitude, no matter ... even with the intention of beating each other, dropping and hurting.

Natalia blinked as she saw Luigi's head slowly approaching. He did not dodge, Luigi's head continued to approach, then the man's lips landed very slowly on his forehead. A kiss that felt on his forehead but touched even to the bottom of his heart. Making Natalia tremble, felt her body weak, helpless and could be blown away by the wind blowing on the edge of the lake. Natalia could only close her eyes, still motionless as Luigi's arms hugged her tightly.

"I asked for a chance, Nat ... Destiny makes us bound to each other. I've tried to reject it. And I know it hurt both of us. Now give me a chance, like the one you wanted to open when you came to my apartment and tried to fix everything. When you and I open our hearts and live it. If you hate me and can't live it anymore, there will always be a way. So is it for me ...."

Natalia felt a clear feather flowing down her cheek. He tried not to sniff.

"Why? Is it because of this baby?"

Natalia cried without a sound. Her tears grew louder when Luigi offended both of her parents. He really misses his mom and dad right now.

"It took me a while to see everything from different glasses .. Now it's my turn to come to you .. I hope you ...." Luigi stopped talking when he felt a liquid dripping on the skin of his arm. He did not comment, letting Natalia cry in silence. He once again dyed Natalia's hair. Then he took a deep breath and looked at the clear sky. He hopes ... someday, as bright as that is the future for their relationship.
