Jacob scanned the cctv screen, smiling at Marylin's movements in the hallway, and the woman was seen entering. There's no footage showing Marylin coming out. Which means the girl's still there.
Jacob patted the shoulder of a colleague who showed the footage just moments ago.
"Thank you, Ed."
"Do you know who that woman is, Jacob?" edgar asked his black colleague.
"You better not ask, Ed. Let's just say we don't see anything and don't hear anything."
Edgar only shrugged his shoulders when he saw Jacob pass after saying those words.
Jacob stepped into the hallway where Marylin was. The rooms in the hallway were no longer in use. Only the waiter still went in there to clean the rooms.
Hoping that the woman would not complicate her task, Jacob knocked on the door of the room.
"Miss ... come out. I know you're inside."
Silent. There's no answer. Marylin panicked when she heard the footsteps coming and then stopped in front of the door of the room where she was hiding, then the heavy voice of a man was heard. Marylin stood up, leaned against the wall behind the door and did not answer.
"I'll open this door and arrest you. I know you're inside. So you better get out yourself, Miss. Don't let me drag you."
Marylin. The guards who took him and who were in this mansion were not the least bit friendly. From the way they treated her, Marylin concluded she was not the expected guest. He was more like a prisoner that they had to guard before their own master acted. I don't know what the guy wants.
Marylin decides she won't be able to get away with it easily if she wants to escape without help. His trip to this mansion told him the location of this place was very remote. The surrounding area is just a forest. He will need a car if he can get out of this big mansion. The only thing he can do in the meantime is to go to Mr. Lucca, then find out exactly what the man wants while looking at the possibility of getting a way to contact Serge.
Marylin turned the key and pulled the door. His eyes were fixed on a black man who was looking at him with a flat face.
"Follow me, Miss. Mr. Lucca is waiting for you."
Marylin took a deep breath before walking side by side with the man who picked her up.
"What's your name?" ask Marylin.
The black man was silent. Keep stepping carrying Marylin down to the ground floor, then out through a door that is behind the mansion. Marylin stopped for a while, looking at the vast grassy field bordering the forest with large trees .
The man who showed him the way continued to step, towards a cottage where Alrico had already been sitting casually with a newspaper. Marylin wondered who had delivered the newspaper to Alrico, if it had come from outside, perhaps he could have hitched a ride home. Marylin grimaced, all that occurred to her brain was how to get out of this place.
They climbed the two steps of the lodge, arriving in front of Alric who seemed to have just had breakfast. The man's hot coffee was still steaming on a round table of shiny marble.
"I brought Miss Marylin, sir." The man who took her greeted the man.
Alrico dropped off his newspaper, then looked at Marylin. There was no expression on the man's face, but Marylin was still afraid.
"You're going into my room?" tanyanya direct.
Marylin did not answer. He locked his mouth, trying to show a face that didn't care.
Alrico looks at Marylin from top to bottom. A little while looking at Marylin's bare feet.
"Sit down!" his orders. Marylin did not move, until a black man nearby pulled her up and forced her to sit in a chair opposite Alric.
"I wonder .. what Alexandro or the Bernard saw in you ...," he said disparagingly, "a grave mistake placed you in one of the rooms of the mansion. You should've just been locked up in a cage!"
Marylin felt a sharp look on her, full of hatred.
What have I ever done wrong to this man?
After gulping to smooth her throat, Marylin ventured to ask.
"Why was I brought here, Mr Lucca? No one told me if any plans had changed. Where are the Crews? Where's Serge?"
Alric stared intently, tapping his index finger on the marble table.
"This is your next assignment, Marylin. Take the burden of your past sins and make it up to you."
"The sins of the past? Whatchu mean?" ask Marylin.
Alric looked cynically at Marylin. Of course, it would be that easy for a lowly woman like Marylin to forget that one incident was like the wind and then in her life. Not thinking about the suffering it causes for others.
"Do you remember a man named Alexandro ...." Alric stared probing into Marylin's face. But there was no clue if the woman knew the name she had just mentioned. Marylin remained silent, not answering.
" Alexandro Morelli." Added Alric again.
"Who's Alexandro?" marylin asked, "what does this have to do with me?"
Alric narrowed, raised his coffee cup and inhaled. After taking a gulp, he looked towards Jacob.
"Max has eaten?" ask Jacob. The man in black simply replied with a flat gaze, Alric raised an eyebrow and grinned.
"Back him in there, I'm sure Max and Cody would love to make new friends."
"Wait .. What do you mean? Why lockup? What wrong? I really don't know who Alexandro is!" Marylin began to panic as Jacob pulled her arm to stand up.
"Of course .. enjoy your time in that cell Marylin! Say something if you remember who Alexandro is!"
Marylin is dragged by Jacob. He held his body to stay in place. But the power of the black man was no match for him. Marylin was dragged forcibly and taken through a grassy field towards a fenced land with two cage-shaped buildings on each of the left and right sides extending on the edge of the forest.
"Don't drag me down .. I'll walk on my own" Marylin said. Jacob released his grip on Marylin's arm. Entering the path between the two elongated buildings, Mary saw a row of horses in the stable.
Instal's? It's a stall, Marylin thought.
He breathed a sigh of relief. The male pet is a horse, visible on the left side of the large horses and on the smaller right side.
Mary was worried when she heard the name of the mansion she heard mentioned by the guards who took her on the way. Maybe it's just a name to make it easy to mention and recognize the place where the lord Alrico Lucca lives.
They arrived at a closed building at the end of the land. Jacob pushed open the large gate of the building and saw a row of confinements inside. There are four confinements and two of them contain. Marylin stared in horror at the two animals that were cowering like cats in the cage.
Jacob opened the second cage, Marylin realized that if he was to be put in the cage, then he would be flanked by two mountain lions. Cougar Mansion .. it turns out that it does maintain two pumas, or better known as mountain lions.
Jacob stood waiting with the door open. It was as if Marylin had entered voluntarily. Glancing to the right of the cage, Mary saw the cougar keeping his eyes closed while still lying down. Just opened one lazy eye to just peek when they had just come, then as if not caring, the beast closed its eyes again.
Marylin turned to the left cage, the puma was larger, brownish-yellow, her eyes open with her head resting on her arms folded forward. The big cat's eyes were looking out at Jacob.
Marylin is terrified. He turned and ran away from the front of the cage.
"Hey!" shouted Jacob.
But Marylin's steps stopped, in front of the gate of the building Alrico was already standing and arrested him.
"No. Don't put me in there! What's my fault with you!? Why are you doing this!" marylin shouted in fear.
Alrico clamped both of Marylin's upper arms, his jaws twitching furiously, cynically he asked.
"Do you remember who Alexandro was?" tanyakanya.
Marylin returned to her head. He really doesn't know who Alexandro is. Then he was again dragged and pushed hard towards the cage that was already open. Marylin fell into the middle of the cage.
"No! Not in here! Don't lock me up here!" he shouted while rising. The hysterics saw Jacob start locking the door.
Alrico Lucca stood two meters in front of the bars, grinning at the terrified Mary with both hands trembling tightly clasping the iron bars that encased her.
"You'll be here until tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll come again and ask you the same question. As a reminder, Alexandro was the man who met you about seven years ago." Alric walked into the cage to the left of Marylin, looking into the eyes of the cougar who was still lying lazily with his head relaxed on both legs.
"Hello Max .. You have a friend" he said with a slanted smile, then the man turned to leave Marylin who was growing more panicked and wiggling the bars while shouting.
"Get me out!"
Jacob left the place. Marylin shouted louder. Until the sound of the animal snoring on his right was heard. The snoring that made Mary no longer dared to make a sound. He has watched on television shows saying the animals rarely attack humans if not because their habitat is disturbed or they are disturbed or hunted or lured because of hunger. They are nocturnal, nocturnal, nocturnal, hunting when it is dark, silent and ambush suddenly.
Marylin retreated slowly, leaning against the inner wall. Positioning himself in the middle of the wall, hoping the animal's legs could not reach him if they intended to pull Marylin with their claws through the gap of bars between the cages.
Marylin sat on the concrete floor feeling rough on the skin of her feet. Since then he was dragged and walked barefoot, now the soles of his feet feel sore. Mary folded her legs and leaned her head over her knees. Close your eyes and try to think about the man named Alexandro.
