CH 8'S. Kidnapping

Joanna looked around from behind her sunglasses. Several people he knew were seen at some point at the airport. He was satisfied with Vincent.

"They've seen the girl's picture, haven't they?" ask Yoana.

"Yes, Miss Yoan." Vincent answered politely.

"You have no ears! How many times have I told you to call me Yoana!" Vincent was silent. He never heeded Joanna's desire to call him Joan without the frills of the lady in front of him.

"You brought the cure?" The question that Vincent answered was a nod.

"We just have to wait for it to come. I'll persuade him to come along. You wait in the car, make sure everyone is ready."

Vincent nodded at his non-existent orders and went to the car, waiting with a handkerchief ready to smother Catalina.

Some time later Catalina got out of the taxi whose door was opened by the driver. With a smile thank you Catalina saw the taxi driver who started to drop off his belongings.

Then with a sly young man with a childish smile came to him with a trolley, he offered to lift and carry his belongings.

Catalina nodded and watched as the taxi driver and the young man arranged his belongings on the trolley, He did need help pushing the trolley because his hand was holding Leonard.

After everything had gone into the trolley, Catalina and the young man pushing her trolley would move inside the airport, but a very beautiful and graceful woman half ran up to him. The woman's knee-length dress waved in the slow breeze, making Catalina stop with a frown.

"Miss! Miss Catalina!" The beautiful woman gasped for breath when she arrived before Catalina.

"Oh, thank goodness I was on time, so we still had time to meet," the woman smiled.

"Sorry ... You who?" Catalina asked with an unsuspecting smile. The beautiful and friendly face of the petite woman in front of him made Catalina automatically return her smile.

"Oh, I'm sorry, you must be confused as to who I am. I'm Yoana." Joanna held out her hand which was greeted by Catalina. They shook hands briefly and then Leon let out a protesting sound in Catalina's sling.

"Jeez, funny." Yoana stroked Leon's plump cheeks with sparkling eyes. The first time he saw the baby. Blue eyes, black hair, did not look like Simon, the tiny face looked more like Marilyn. Only that black hair gave the hint a little. Ah, they'll find out soon enough. Claude will definitely do a DNA test to be sure.

"Sorry Miss Joanna. I have a flight in a minute. Do you have any needs with me?" Catalina's words made Joanna wake up from her fascination. He smiled with his eyes turned to look at Catalina.

"Ah .. There's someone who wants to see you. But because of something, he couldn't get out of the car. I hope you'll see him for a minute."

"Who? But I have a flight." Catalina looked doubtfully at Joanna.

With her heart pounding, Joanna gave her best smile again. He hoped that there would be no need to create a furore by catching this girl in the human traffic that would look curious.

"Just a minute Miss. It won't take your time" said Joanna.

Catalina glanced at her watch. There's still time before he has to check in. The doubt on his face was clearly imprinted.

"Doctor Luigi!" catalina's speech was greeted by a nod by Yoana.

"Where?" Catalina turned her head around. Joanna pointed to a black parked car.

"Come on. I'll take you to see him."

He guides Catalina and winks at the young man pushing the trolley following them towards the car. That young man was Vincent's man.

Catalina was unable to see into the car due to the dark glass that her eyes could not penetrate. Joanna opened the back door and let Catalina in.

With hesitation Catalina squinted at the pair of legs at the end of the seat.

"Come in. Just for a minute," persuaded Yoana.

Catalina nodded and got into the car with baby Leon. The sight of a man with a scar on his face greeted Catalina's eyes. He made his eyes start to look. But the girl did nothing. Vincent swiftly smothered his mouth with a handkerchief. The smell of chloroform that smelled under the handkerchief that covered her nose made Catalina more scattered.

"Leon ...."Catalina's last word before all her consciousness was gone.

Yoana bends over and sees Vincent has arranged Catalina's body and releases Leon's sling on the girl's shoulder.

"Give him to me." Joanna reached out into the car to welcome baby Leon who looked at Vincent with her big eyes.

"Dear-looking baby. Here, carry Aunt Yoan." Joanna stood up and kissed the baby's plump cheeks.

"Welcome home to Leon." Yoana whispered as she glanced at the young man who had pushed Catalina's trolley and started putting Catalina's belongings into the trunk of the car. He gave a satisfied nod to the young man.

After everything was done Joanna got into the car and sat down next to the sleeping Catalina. Vincent has moved to sit next to the driver in front.

"We're leaving." Yoana's orders begin the car moving into the airport, to a special place where the Bernard family's private plane is waiting to bring baby Leon back to the Bernard family.
