The sound of footsteps passing by inside the hut finally woke Catalina up. He squirms under the blanket, feeling warm and comfortable because he can sleep well.
"You awake?" claude's voice sounded from the corner of the cottage. Catalina turned her head, found Claude sitting on a chair and leaning back with a blanket wrapped around her body.
"Is it morning?" ask Catalina.
Claude got up, put his blanket on the chair he was sitting on. The man had already put his clothes back on.
"Almost morning. I think Vincent will be here any minute. You wanna wash your face first? There's a bucket of water in there." Claude pointed at another corner of the cottage.
Catalina nodded, then realized she was undressed. He put a blanket over his whole body while sitting down.
"Your clothes are dry, only your jeans are still a little damp. But you can wear it. I'm going out, get dressed" Claude said as he left Catalina. He went out and closed the door.
Catalina immediately stood up, she threw the blanket on the wooden floor with the blanket on, where she was lying. Then he went to the corner of the cottage, washed his face and took his jeans and put on them, his camisole and blouse were completely dry. Catalina was grateful so she did not get cold while wearing it.
After combing her hair and then with her fingers, Catalina opened the door of the cottage, her eyes looking for Claude among the dim morning light, the sun had not yet appeared perfect, the dim atmosphere was still surrounding the hut. The sound of birds crashing in the morning, melodious, whistling at each other as if singing.
Catalina found Claude standing on the sidewalk not far from the cottage, staring around them with narrowed eyes. He looked over as Catalina approached.
"Claude," call Catalina.
"What's up, Catty?" Claude turned around and turned towards the girl. Catty's face looked puzzled, the girl looked somewhat agitated.
Claude became worried, he held onto Catalina's two shoulders and stared at her from head to toe, looking for if there was anything wrong with the girl.
Catalina was very confused to convey her complaint.
"I ...." Catalina took a deep breath and then withstood her embarrassment, she finally said, "I need to go to the restroom, Claude. Where am I ...."
Catalina stopped talking, confused again to convey her wish through words. Claude looked at the girl stunned, then after a few seconds he realized what Catalina was trying to tell him.
Claude chuckled amusedly, making Catalina purs her lips. Claude pinched the girl's nose while laughing.
"Come, come with me" he said as he pulled Catalina behind the cottage. A smaller cottage is located.
"Do it there, Catty." Point Claude behind a door in the little cottage, next to which is a pile of firewood that has been stacked.
Catalina nodded then walked away from Claude. Claude also turned around and left Catalina alone. He returned to the path in front of the cottage. Waiting if he heard the roar of the car engine coming or the voice of someone who might call them in the silence of the forest.
After a while, Catalina sounded a loud scream. Claude was just about to run when he saw the girl coming in hysterically crying.
"Catty! What's up! Hey!" Claude held onto Catalina's trembling shoulders, the girl shuddered as if horrified at something.
"Tool? Are you afraid of caterpillars?" claude asked with raised eyebrows. Catalina was crying harder.
"Remove it! Please ...." Catalina did not dare to move, also opened her eyes, she shuddered and her face grew pale.
Immediately Claude nudged his fingertips to the little caterpillar.
"Maybe it stuck when you crossed the leaves of the tree, it stopped in your hair" Claude said with an amused smile.
"Here, gone. I threw it away" Claude said again.
Unknowingly Catalina reached out her hand and hugged Claude's chest. He rubbed his nose against Claude's chest repeatedly.
"Catty ...." Claude stood stiffly with both arms raised. Confused by the girl's attitude.
"My body felt like it was being pricked when I saw the caterpillar, tingling. It made me so amused and itchy that it arrived at the tip of my nose, sometimes even on my fingers and toes, as if I had just touched it." Catalina shuddered again.
Claude hugged Catalina while chuckling,. "You ... have this much fear of such a small creature? You're scared of him and you're screaming, your voice even scares all the creatures in this forest" Claude said in a teasing tone.
Catalina let go of her embrace and looked up at the amused smiling Claude.
"Don't laugh at me" Catalina murmured.
Claude smiled as he stroked the girl's cheek gently. "Sorry .. You're a phobia. I know ... It's not a funny thing."
Claude happily realized, Catalina hugged him with her own will, not feeling awkward rubbing her nose on Claude's chest. Claude is grateful he held himself back last night, making Catalina know, Claude is not going to do something that Catalina does not want. He will try little by little to foster the girl's trust in him.
Catalina retreated and loosened her head towards the end of the path. Claude also turned around and looked towards the direction Catalina was looking at. The sound of a car roaring down the road, before long, two SUVs came and stopped not far from them.
"Thank God .. I've guessed you'll take refuge in a hunting lodge." Vincent's voice coming down from the car was heard greeting Claude.
"What's up, Vincent?" Claude squinting.
"Relse. We're going home. Joanna and the others I've flown in first, it's not safe in this region."
Hearing that command, Claude wasted no time. He pulled Catalina in and told her to come in, then he himself sat down next to her and closed the door.
Vincent wasted no time either. He concentrated on getting the car back without Claude talking. Claude did not try to ask the man either. He knew that whatever the situation was then something bad was bound to happen and he would not listen to Vincent's story with Catalina's ears on board. He'll wait for Vincent's explanation later. Now the most important thing is to go home as soon as possible and leave the region.
