CH 3'S. Bernard Family

Catalina tidied up the table and tidied up the patient's cards scattered on her desk. The sound of the door opening made him turn his head and nod his greetings.

"You're going home yet?" Luigi's doctor's question greets Catalina's ears.

"No, Doc. I still have to fix it." Catalina refused subtly. Luigi has often offered to go home together or ask to go on a date. But Catalina only considers the doctor a friend and co-worker.

Catalina knows Luigi's family has determined any future for the young doctor. The small clinic was just a stepping stone, giving Luigi temporary freedom before returning to the reins of leadership of their family's large hospital.

An heir to a wealthy family with a bright future. He did not want to make things difficult for himself by being willing to be Luigi's girlfriend and then became a target that must be resolved by the rich family because they dared to be with their son. Oh, naw. Catalina's not that stupid. He had no feelings for the doctor.

"The pregnant woman ..who you brought to check, is she your family?" The sudden question was raised by Luigi with a curious face.

Catalina took a deep breath. He did not expect Luigi to ask, but Marilyn was indeed raving too much in there earlier.

Catalina invites her sister to check the womb, she comes with the lure of being given extra money if she checks herself and the baby.

Doctor Luigi who examined him then realized the resemblance between the two brothers. But what makes Luigi curious is the words of Marilyn who said she was single, not married and only carrying her baby for a couple who did not have children.

Catalina looked very uncomfortable throughout her brother's examination. Marilyn was about to drool when she walked in and saw the handsome doctor smiling kindly at her.

"Why not answer? Is your relationship with her a secret?" Luigi looked back into Catalina's eyes. This doctor won't stop until Catalina answers him.

"Yes, Doc. He's my brother." Catalina's short answer tells Luigi that she doesn't want to discuss her brother. Luigi sniffed his shoulder.

"There is a resemblance between you. That's why I can guess you're brothers."

Catalina nodded at Luigi's words. He arranged the entire card slowly, hoping that the doctor would come home and leave. Catalina did not want him to reportedly have a long chat with the doctor as happened to Cecilia. The girl was brought before Grand Master Stefano and questioned about her relationship with Luigi.

Though at that time Cecilia was just chatting normally and joking a little while laughing. But in the distance the couple looks like a pair of lovers who are teasing each other.

"Have you thought about my offer?" the question suddenly came to Catalina's ears. He turned and looked at the man. Give the answer that can not provide certainty.

"I'm actually very interested, Doc. But there's some reason that I can't leave this place."

"Say the reason." Luigi looked and waited, but there was no answer. The man took a deep breath.

"It's good for your development, Catalina. You are agile, smart and able to work with a team. Our hospital will be very happy to accept you joining. You'll receive a salary and other income many times more than you settled in this little clinic."

"I'll reconsider, Doc ...." Catalina said seriously. Eagerly he agreed and moved to work at the Luigi family's large hospital, he wanted to add to his experience. But the parlors lack people to look after the children and now there is a problem Marilyn has to take care of.

"That's great. I'm only a few months away here. Next I'll move in and settle down at Eliza Hospital. I hope you give me an answer before that." Luigi passed away leaving Catalina in a daze.

In a few months Marilyn will give birth. He will be preoccupied with the presence of a baby, so there is no way he will accept the offer. But he wanted to try it.

Joanna Bernard walked in without knocking and without notice. The two men who were talking seriously in the room straightened their heads and turned their heads. Joanna flicked her shiny black hair and walked towards her sister's big chair that looked empty.

He sat down and looked towards the sofa where his brother Claude Bernard and his right-hand stone statue named Vincent were talking.

Feeling someone's gaze, Yoana glanced at Vincent. The two stared at each other sharply. The beautiful woman stared cynically at Vincent.

Claude felt that aura of discord. Her older sister never liked Vincent for refusing her invitation to marry.

"Bring this up." Claude closed the file in front of him and gave it to Vincent who immediately nodded and parted out.

Joanna's eyes never left the man. It makes Vincent very uncomfortable and wants to get out of there quickly. Claude felt sorry to see that right hand.

"Stop looking cynically at him, Yoan. You're making it uncomfortable."

Claude's words made Yoana snort. His sister looked at him pouting.

"That guy really pisses me off" said Yoana. Claude chuckles amusedly.

"I think you're upset because he rejected you once."

Yoana's face became more and more annoyed at her sister's words.

"You've been almost 32 years, anyway, Yoan. Why don't you find a handsome guy who wants to marry you!" Claude received a tissue box throw that almost hit his face.

"You've also been 30 years, you idiot! Why don't you think about having a family and making an heir for our family." Joanna looked at her sister who was still giggling amusedly.

"Why should I get married? There's still you and Simon" Claude said evasively.

Hearing Simon's name made Joanna remember her intention of coming to her sister's office.

"It's been 3 months since you punished him, Claude. Aren't you going to call him back?" ask Joanna slowly.

Claude took a deep breath considering their younger brother Simon. A 24-year-old man who always causes trouble for Claude and Joanna. His life is always filled with fun.

"I heard he learned a lot on the island, Yoan. Hamilton will keep an eye on him and report to us. We've spoiled him so far .. It's time he learned to help me hold the company."

"You're right. I think it's a little fun getting the day off from taking care of the problems he always makes."

"The last issue got me started thinking about getting him to learn the responsibility of taking care of the company."

Yoana nodded, recalling clearly when the brownish-haired woman came and said Simon told her to come over to talk about marriage. Yoan was so disgusted! The greedy woman who dreams of marrying her immature sister, may think she can deceive Simon's family like she cheated her stupid sister.

"Thank God she was terrified and ran away without needing us to bother .. voracious street woman!" Joanna was angry.

Claude nodded. He recalled clearly when the woman paled as she came down from the second floor and looked at her viciously. It doesn't take a lot of words to get rid of it. The woman immediately left and never showed up again.
