CH 26'S. Unexpected

Claude stopped his car and got off. He opened Catalina's door, which also came down immediately while holding Leon. Claude carries a baby bag and guides Catalina to the doctor's office.

Catalina realized that several pairs of eyes were staring at them, she was sure that the man who was pulling his arm while carrying the baby bag next to her was what made them the center of attention. Claude dressed too formally to take them to the doctor.

Catalina smiled at the woman guarding in the registration section.

"Hello Miss .. we have made an appointment for this baby checkup. Yoana Bernard's making an appointment."

The woman smiled and checked the book. Then he nodded and invited Catalina to sit down.

"Wait a minute, ma'am. I'll call the nurse and tell her you've arrived. You can sit on that couch with your husband."

Catalina opened her mouth wanting to refute the woman's words, it seemed that the woman had mistakenly thought that they were a married couple. But his arm was dragged by Claude, so he was forced to move and follow.

The woman called someone, but her eyes did not look at the three of them who were sitting on the sofa.

"Why does he keep looking here" grumbled Catalina. Claude lifted his face from the phone he was looking at and followed Catalina's eyes.

"Maybe it's because you're the most beautiful mother she's ever seen." Claude returned to his cell phone.

Did this man indirectly say that I am a beautiful mother? Catalina frowned with the thought that flashed across her brain.

Leon began to whine fussily, his saliva flowing and he bit his own fingers.

"Patience, Honey. You're in pain." Catalina whispered softly as she patted Leon's butt slowly and rhythmically. Claude kept his phone when he heard the whimper.

"Here, give him to me. Your shoulder must be tired of carrying it." Claude reached out and took Leon from Catalina's sling.He took the baby Leon around, could make the baby sit still for a few minutes.

A nurse came to them and told them to follow her. Claude kept holding Leon, so Catalina tipped the bag into a room where the pediatrician was waiting.

With a friendly smile the doctor greeted them and greeted Claude.

"Welcome Mr. Bernard, Yoana's been calling me and telling me what's your baby's problem."

Claude nodded and followed the instructions of the doctor who examined Leon. After everything was done, the doctor prescribed Catalina.

"You can give it to the dose I've written, Mrs. Bernard." - Bernard."

Catalina frowned at the doctor's call for her. He had not spoken yet, the doctor had spoken to Leon who was in Claude's arms.

"Your mom will give you your medicine, dear Leon. Hopefully you'll feel more comfortable afterwards" the doctor said, smiling at Claude.

Claude seemed to have no intention of correcting the doctor's misunderstanding. It made Catalina even more upset. After redeeming the prescription for Leonard, they returned to the car and left the hospital.

Leonard was very fussy on the way home. Claude finally decided to comfort the baby by stopping at the park lane and parking his car. He went down and opened the door from Catalina.

"Why come here?" Catalina stayed seated, she didn't want to get out of the car.

Claude took Leon with half force. He carried her and took her to the park. Catalina takes a supply of milk bottles from Leon's bag and is forced to get out of the car. He follows Claude who walks away while trying to comfort Leon who is still whining.

After finding a long chair Claude sat down and looked towards Catalina who came to him.

"I think she's thirsty Catty." Claude looked at the milk bottle Catalina was holding, "here, give it to me."

Catalina held it out and soon Claude gave it to Leonard. But the baby was still whining.

"What else is it?" Claude frowned at Leon who was still whining and flailing his hand towards Catalina.

"You want your Mommy?" Claude kissed Leon's cheek and raised it towards Catalina who was still standing.

"Sit. I think he'll just drink from your hand."

"You're so mean Leon ... Daddy Claude is trying to get you a drink. But you only want it when your Mommy gives it to you." Claude poked the plump cheeks of the seemingly unperturbed baby. He still sucked greedily. Claude deliberately lowered his head to kiss Leon's cheek, causing Catalina to back off and lean stiffly against the back of the chair. Claude was amused by the girl's reaction.

"Claude? Is that you? "

The voice of the greeting lady made claude and Catalina look up. A middle-aged woman and a girl seemed to join hands. It was the voice of the middle-aged woman who reprimanded Claude earlier.

"Ah .. is true. It's you Claude." The woman smiled sweetly as she glanced towards Catalina then towards Leon who was drinking milk.

"Mrs Sweyn." Claude stood up and reached out, looking stiff and formal. The woman welcomed Claude's hand. He smiled and said to the girl nearby.

"It was unexpected that we met Claude, dear Tania. Tania just arrived yesterday, Claude. So I took her for a walk to the park and told her a story, ", said Mrs Sweyn.

Claude nodded politely, although he said inwardly that it was none of his business and he did not ask.

"Hello Tania's. How are you?" Claude asked politely. The beautiful girl smiled very sweetly. Sweeter than Mrs Sweyn who turns out to be her mother.

"I'm good Claude. How's yours?" tanyanya friendly.

"Just been a little busy with Leonard lately. Ah ... she's sleepy. We're going home now, Catty?" Claude saw that Leon's milk bottle had run out and the baby was starting to clench its eyes. Catalina did not reply, only holding Leon and patting him gently on the back for the baby to burp.

"Sorry Mrs Sweyn, Tania. We have to go home. We stopped for a while because Leon was a little fussy. We'll take care of it." Claude let Catalina's arm stand up. Catalina complies and rises. They were just about to step in when Mrs Sweyn stopped Claude.

"Mmc ... Claude's? Is that your son?" tanyanya.

Claude turned his head and looked with a flat face towards the two women.

"Yes, Madam. Leonard is my son." With that remark Claude again sighed Catalina's arm and invited her to leave the place.

Two pairs of unblinking eyes looked at the departure of the three people who looked like that family.

"I never knew she was married, Mom." Tania said softly.

"Some time ago the baby was indeed horrendous by various media, he was introduced as the newest member of the Bernard family. All guessing whose son Leonard Bernard really is. I can't believe Claude just confirmed that the baby was his son."

"You're saying there hasn't been a single woman close to Claude since the last time after me and him separated, Mom. But the woman ... Catty's? Who is he, Mom?"

Now he comes home and faces the fact that there is already a woman and a baby in Claude's life. Catty and Leon ... What can he do now? All his plans fell apart immediately due to the presence of the woman and the baby.
