CH 4'S. Baby Leonard

Catalina clasped her brother's frowning hand as the pain returned to her. Marilyn biting her lips held a scream that wanted to come out of her mouth. She didn't want to scream like a hysterical woman in front of Luigi's doctor who helped her give birth.

"A little more, Marilyn ...." Doctor Luigi gave a feisty smile to the young mother who was still frowning, and after one long pain with a strong squeeze on the hand of Catalina who was clasping her hand, she said, the baby boy finally came out and cried loudly.

Catalina and doctor Luigi smile at each other. Catalina immediately helped clean and cut her niece's umbilical cord. Inez, another nurse helping Luigi tidy up and take care of Marilyn, leaves Catalina to help deliver Marilyn's baby placenta.

The baby boy was still crying loudly, making Catalina smile while cleaning up. He immediately wrapped his niece in a soft blanket and brought her back to Marilyn. Catalina intended to put the baby into Marilyn's chest so the new mother could hug her. But Marilyn frowned and raised her hand to stop Catalina.

"Bring her up, Lina ...." Marilyn turned her face away from the baby Catalina had been carrying. Doctors Luigi and inez who helped clean up Marilyn looked at Catalina, who was hugging the tiny baby.

"Don't you want to carry her, Mary? Even if only for a moment? " Catalina held sadness in her voice. The rapid gel of Marilyn's head made Catalina take a deep breath. He immediately left the place and again put his nephew into a box in the nursery.

"Don't be sad Leon. I'll love you in your place ...." Catalina whispered without noticing doctor Luigi who had been standing nearby.

"So you lied by saying there would be foster parents for her." Luigi's voice makes Catalina jump. He looked at the man who looked back at him sharply.

"Tell me .. Is this baby the reason you refused to come with me to Eliza Hospital?" Doctor Luigi is still standing waiting and Catalina knows she has to give an answer so Luigi doesn't come after her.

He had indeed rejected the offer of the man to move to the city where the Luigi family hospital center was located. Eliza Hospital offers great challenges and income, Catalina is eager to give it a try. But what about Leon?

"You're right, Doc. I can't leave Leon here. If I stay here, I can babysit it while working."

Luigi. "If that's your excuse, then you can do it in Eliza, too. There is a daycare facility in Eliza for the mothers who work at the place. You can drop it off at work and take it back after you get home."

Catalina looked surprised.

"really? " tanyanya was curious. Doctor Luigi smiled.

"You should have told me all your problems, but you kept it to yourself."

Catalina smiled broadly at Luigi's doctor.

"Thank you, Doc. I'll really think about it, and I'll call you as soon as I decide to go there. Surely after me and Leon have adjusted to each other."

"Say the answer, Catalina. That you will come to Eliza .. time you can decide for yourself." Doctor Luigi seemed to wait and put both his hands into his doctor's suit. He was actually hoping that Catalina's answer would change. It was supposed to be a few weeks ago that she had to leave, but Catalina's reply, saying she wouldn't go with him, led Luigi to cancel his plan to go home. He was looking for a reason to persuade the girl.

Luigi knew he could do nothing about his parents' decision to decide the girl he was going to marry. But they can't control his heart either. He would be satisfied if he could see Catalina every day in Eliza.

"Alright, Doctor. I'm coming to Eliza. Once things are normal and Leon has adjusted to me, then I'll call you."

That resolute answer made Luigi breathe a sigh of relief. He approached Leon's box with a smile.

"Name Leon?"

Catalina nodded. "Leonard Seymor."

Luigi was silent, the surname Catalina. This means the baby's father doesn't admit it.

"You're lucky baby Leon. You have an aunt who will be your mother. She's gonna be a great mom."

Catalina's eyes glazed over Doctor Luigi's words.

"Thank you, Doc" he said.

Marilyn no longer looked at her nose. As soon as the compensation money he requested was transferred to his account, the woman disappeared. He was not interested in seeing Leonard. Marilyn's disappointment at being abandoned and dumped by her lover makes her quickly forget baby Leon.

Catalina's days are so happy to see her niece change even bigger, it's been two months and baby Leon became a plump baby cheerful and funny. Anyone who sees it will be amazed and praise his good looks. Catalina smiled because her niece really knew how to lure women into holding her and kissing her fat.

"Suster Rebbeca, give him to me." Catalina reached out her hand and greeted baby Leon with a smile. The baby twitched, his hands and feet thrust forward, as if hoping that Catalina would quickly carry him.

"You just got home, Lina. Rest first." Sister Rebecca smiled as Catalina kept taking her niece and carrying her.

"Come on, dear Leon, you miss Mommy right." Catalina kissed Leon's plump cheeks.

"Have you made up your mind, Lina?" Sister Rebecca suddenly asked. Making Catalina turn her head and nod at the nurse.

"Yes, nurse. I've decided I'm going to try."

"You're still gonna take Leon?"

"Yes. He'll be fine, Sister. Doctor Luigi made sure there's a daycare for her when I work."

"We're gonna miss you." Sister Rebecca took a deep breath. Catalina immediately approached him and kissed the old woman's cheek.

"Well, we'll be fine, Sister. I'd love to try working in that big hospital."

Catalina got the nod from the woman.

"Of course my son .. We will pray for you and Leon."

The ringing of the phone made Catalina who was playing with Leon in bed distract him. Luigi's doctor's name on the screen made her smile fluffy.

"Hello, Doc," said Catalina.

"Hello, Catalina. How's progress? When are you leaving?" Luigi's voice sounded urgent. Wondering when Catalina left so she could see the girl again.

"I'll be gone in a few days, Doc. Don't bother picking up, and thank you for finding a place for me to stay there later."

"Ck, that should be. I've also registered Leon's name at this hospital's special daycare."

Catalina smiled, doctor Luigi has thought of everything.

"Thank you, Doc. See you there later."

"Yes .. See you, Catalina." Then the connection was cut off. Catalina looked at the suitcase she was about to carry when she left, before finally returning to kiss Leon .

"There will be a new life for us there later, Leon. Mommy hopes you'll like it."

his words were greeted by Leon's soft voice, as if understanding what Catalina had just said to him.
