107. The first failed love

Nadine screeched her suitcase with mixed feelings. However, if she had chosen to part ways with Lucky, today would have been her last day to set foot in the husband's residence.

Nadine stopped right in front of the majestic circular staircase. There he imagines a flashback to his 4-year household story with Lucky.

It was on the stairs that Lucky first kissed her, carried her with both hands and took her upstairs to their room.

It all starts from here. Love at the first sight. Her first love was her husband. Yes, when Lucky was still Junior High, this is where Nadine first knew him. The man was once a young man who became his upperclassman.

Unexpectedly, their parents knew each other quite familiarly. The introduction had to stop there because Lucky followed in the footsteps of the father who is a Singapore citizen.

Until they are reunited in a moment of arranged marriage and the two agree to it without coercion.

Nadine did not expect if she finally made a match with her first love, but that's the path of fate, the plot was not she can guess first.

"Nadine!" Lucky blocked Nadine's departure, which seemed to have moved to the exit of the house.

Lucky even ran around, descending many steps in a hurry.

The woman turned around, for the sake of gazing once again at the beloved man - but had to be abandoned. The cloud in his face was increasingly radiated until finally his tears fell like rain that fell heavily and impatiently.

"Once you go you won't be able to come back, Nad!"

Lucky tried to warn his wife. He deliberately, for Nadine to think twice, maybe the woman would want to undo the intention and stay in her position.

"I know, Mas," said Nadine in a trembling voice. "I already know the consequences of every action I choose," he said, clenching both hands on the side of the body. It feels heavy and stifling.

"So, you really want us to split up? You'll regret it, Nadine. You still love me and I believe in it!" lucky hatch.

Nadine nodded, she did not refute Lucky's words. Yes, he still loves. Hugely. But because of that, he became very sick.

"You're right, Mas. I do still love you, but regret-" Nadine paused her sentence, she shook her head with a confident look. "Good, Mom! I won't regret any of this. This is my choice!" says steady.

"I'm waiting for news of our divorce in a month, Mom. If you don't take care of it then I will take a stand. Well, whatever you do to delay our separation, in fact we still have to separate," Nadine stressed.

Lucky looked at Nadine with a pus. He can't prevent it anymore because he knows he's the one who has the fault.

"I miss you so much, you can't go..." Lucky's hold on Nadine's body felt tighter.

To be honest, Nadine also missed Lucky a lot. But, what would it say if this hug is no longer just to have alone, Nadine thought.

"Enough, Mum." Nadine tries to unravel the husband's embrace, but Lucky does not let that happen.

"Mas Lucky!" squealing someone who is none other than Firda. "What the fuck, anyway?" he grumbled from the top then down the stairs right then.

"I know you're still husband and wife, but can't you appreciate how I feel here?" snapped Firda with a dead red face. It seems that he is burning jealous and very emotional now.

Firda forgets that her husband is not just hers.

Nadine and Lucky have not even heard Firda's words, but the woman has spoken again for the umpteenth time.

"And you're Nadine, if you want to go, please! The door of this house is wide open to your intentions! But, don't use the drama to hug my husband!"

Hearing Firda's sentence, not only Nadine felt judged, but Lucky was immediately inflamed by it.

"Firda! I'm also Nadine's husband if you forget!" angry Lucky, he never yelled at his second wife like today, but Firda's speech was clearly like cornering Nadine, but here Nadine is still valid as his wife.

"Mass?" Firda was in disbelief because Lucky scolded him just because of Nadine. Did Lucky forget she was pregnant now? Firda's heart was very sick with this reality.

"Udah! You don't have to meddle in my business with Nadine. Because here I am the head of his family!"

Again, Lucky said loudly making Firda very embarrassed because he was scolded in front of Nadine as well.

"Lad..." Lucky looked back at Nadine. "Please, give me time for this, don't go now. We'll talk later in a better mood."

Nadine shook her head in disbelief at Lucky's request. Didn't the man agree with his decision and only ask for one request before Nadine left? Why was he still trying to block Nadine's intentions?

"Don't make a decision when it's emotional or you'll regret it, dear ..." Still Lucky persuaded Nadine, all that he did because he still did not want to be abandoned by his first wife.

Hearing the sentence that was triggered from Lucky-s lips made Firda anxious herself. Instantly, Firda also held her stomach which suddenly felt pain.

"M-mas..my stomach," said Firda with great difficulty.

Lucky immediately looked at Firda who looked in pain. "Firda? You why?" the tanyanya began to panic.

"My stomach hurts, Mom. The content...."

Lucky had forgotten that Firda was pregnant, because since then he only focused on Nadine who wanted to leave her residence.

"Cats, Fir... Darling..." Lucky swiftly lifted Firda's body into his trunk before the woman fainted, then he immediately took Firda to climb into their room upstairs.

Nadine who was there, could only freeze and watch the scene. Apparently, he was just a figure or just a spectator who was destined to see what the behavior of these two people.

Without wanting to know more about Firda's condition, Nadine pulled her suitcase again with steady steps. Lucky has been busy with his young wife, so there will be nothing to prevent his departure.

"Already, Nad. Nothing can be expected from this house." Nadine nodded to herself.

On the terrace, apparently Nadine can see the whereabouts of Sonya and Bu Ruqaya who are there.

They smiled a thin smile as if to show that they also knew everything.

Yeah, they must have heard what just happened.

"Remember, if you leave later, don't go back and forth again" Sonya said scathingly.

Nadine paused her steps for a moment, she turned to Sonya and commented on the slanted smile. Don't think he'll just shut up, he's not a silent Ashes when bullied. Although he has a good attitude, but if he feels bullied-Nadine can turn into a ferocious lion but still graceful and elegant.

"So calm down, I'm not going back to this house again. Because I've got the shame of hitchhiking constantly at someone else's house."

It was clear that Nadine's speech insinuated Sonya, making Sonya inflamed by it.

"You...." Sonya's hand had gone up, to give Nadine a lesson so as not to carelessly talk, but swiftly Bu Ruqaya prevented her daughter's intentions.

"Daddy, Nadine! Sonya's not hitching a ride here. It's Lucky's house and he's Sonya's sister, so it can't be called hitchhiking."

"You think I don't know if Sonya's sister isn't Mas Lucky's brother? He's someone else, Ma.. please ask him to come to his senses as well!" he said still with a mocking smile. Nadine intentionally did that to make Sonya die of lice. Let it go, he thought.
