Handsome Ceo's Secretary of Choice

Handsome Ceo's Secretary of Choice
Chapter 29. The Heart of Khanif

They had come home from an impromptu detective stunt that Khanif had planned. After returning from there, Khanif remained silent. He did not expect the people he trusted to eliminate Khanif's trust by cheating on his own workers and enriching themselves for personal gain.

Khanif did not think, those he believed could do such a bad thing. Though the funds he gave for the construction of the villa here are not small. It could even finance the lives of those people up to seven derivatives. But they were still greedy for treasures they could not carry until the end. What's the point now? Khanif no longer trusts them.

"Davina," call Khanif who is still focused on driving his car.

"Yes sir."

"Come from here, don't forget to call gunawan sir."

"Sir Gunawan is the planning director, sir?" ask Davina to make sure.

"Hem, yeah. Tell him that I need all the documents related to the details of the work in building the villa here. Tell him again, if I need him this afternoon and for no reason."

"Good, sir."

After that, no conversation happened again. They all sat in silence. But not for Rania. Although he did not comment, but his hand is now busy pressing the touch screen button on his smartphone.

He was seen contacting someone who had taken him for a walk last night. Yeah, who else if not Reyhan. The other man displayed a charming smile as Rania waved her hand from inside the car.

Rania was so busy typing one word at a time on her phone screen, that she did not realize that the car had reached their inn. Even once again, Rania only realized when Khanif was the one who told her to get out of the car.

Rania looked up at Khanif, she was so embarrassed for the umpteenth time again. How not, Rania seems to ignore the surrounding and immersed in her own world.

"I'm sorry" said Rania. Khanif was silent again. He left Rania.

They arrived at the inn at noon. They also had lunch at the inn along with the other guests. The atmosphere of lunch was so crowded because of the arrival of visitors again. However, no one could open the conversation even though they would all be in the same room.

Khanif finished his lunch first. He also first returned to the room to rest for a while because, if the afternoon approached, he wanted to focus on the documents sent by Gunawan, the director of planning at his company.

"Why has Khanif been quiet ever since we got home?" rania asked after they were on the veranda of Davina's room.

Davina did deliberately choose a room that has a veranda because she wanted to relax like this. Unlike Rania who chose a room without a veranda because there is no intention like this Davina.

"Perhaps Mr. Khanif was devastated because of this problem" Davina said.

Rania increasingly does not understand the direction of Davina's conversation. Davina turned to Rania for a moment, then her gaze was directed at the scenery in front of her.

He then said, "sir Khanif was devastated because the person who committed this fraud was none other than his own uncle. Uncle Gunawan. Who wouldn't be sad if it turned out to be your own family, stabbing you in the back? Especially when that person is someone you trust a lot."

Rania shakes. He did not know what to respond to, knowing this truth.

"What the family says is when the family notices the sense of kinship itself." Davina was silent for a moment, she was still looking straight ahead before continuing her words, "we are even closer to our own neighbors than our families because even the neighbors who have family in them," added Davina.

"Yes, you're right."

"If Uncle Gunawan is not Uncle Khanif sir, Mr. Khanif would be able to solve this problem very quickly. But everything changes when Uncle Gunawan is involved. Of course Mr. Khanif has to keep the other family feeling."

"At a time like this still thinking about it?"

Davina turned her head, she did not expect Rania to come out with those words.

"I'm sorry not that I want to interfere, but until when will Mr. Khanif dare to continue to think about the sense of kinship that has been made damaged by him!"

"Yes, you're right. Mister Khanif should be able to shift that sense for the good of the company." Davina breathed a heavy sigh. "It seems like our conversation has gone too far."

Davina actually really wants to know the man named Reyhan from Rania himself. However, when weighing many things in it, he did not want to bring it up. She was afraid that Rania would suspect her that she was interested in a guy like Rey.

Seeing Davina kept quiet since their last conversation, Rania nudged Davina's arm and said, "what's the matter, why are you quiet?"

Davina was again surprised. But he soon got into the situation. "It's okay. It's just like I want to rest."

Rania understood what Davina said. He also wanted to go back to his room. As soon as Rania, Davina again thought of the chaos of Khanif's heart. He knew this decision was tough for him. But how else! If it is not like that, then not only Khanif will be destroyed slowly, but all employees who work in Khanif company. Davina took a long breath. Before he truly rested himself.

***

The afternoon had come when Davina heard a knock before the door of her room. He also moved down from the bed.

"Sir Khanif" cried Davina.

"If the report is in place, you can send it to my email immediately" Khanif said without further ado.

"Good sir."

Khanif nodded, he passed from before Davina. Then head to the top floor of this inn. There, the wind felt fresh as he just set foot. Large umbrellas of shelter have been arranged in such a way.

In fact, there are also many kinds of flowers that can only grow in this cold and cool city. The smell of flowers that were blooming also made Khanif a little calm when his heart experienced a great chaos because of Gunawan, uncle who was different from his mother with his papa.

Although different, papa Khanif is very close to his mother's different brother. So did Khanif. He even loved his uncle very much because since he was a child, he had been spoiled by this different figure. So, that was one of the reasons he trusted his uncle to hold the position of a planning director.

But it seems that Khanif had to withdraw the post from his own uncle's shoulders. In any case, he had to save his uncle's pride so as not to go too deep when he fell later. Yes, he knows sooner or later he has to make the right decision.

To eliminate a moment of anxiety, Khanif then opened his phone door and dialed a number that had been stored long enough. After connecting, instead of getting a greeting, Khanif even got a grumpy and upset speech from across there.

"Go don't say it! I told you I wanted to come."

Khanif laughed, he was so longed to hear that pampered annoyed voice.
