Chapter 54. Khanif motive
"Why are you smiling to yourself?" ask someone beside Khanif's right.
Khanif was shocked. He looked at the man who had rebuked him. The man raised one of his eyebrows asking for Khanif's answer which also did not exist.
"Why silence?"
"Oh, I .. I ...."
"Why you?" The man followed Khanif's view. Seeing him, he smiled.
"My son is like a child, isn't he?"
Once again Khanif stuttered. She didn't expect Papa Rudy to tell her that. He thought he would get the opposite because he had looked at Rania.
"He's too stubborn if told to rest. So, I let him do whatever he wanted." Papa Rudy turned to Khanif. "Oh yeah, we go into the house first, let's have a good talk. Anyway, there's something I want to ask you," asked Papa Rudy.

Of course Rania can think so. Because of Rania's knowledge, the mild illness permit granted by Khanif's company for only three days was no more. But a few seconds later, Rania increasingly did not believe what was said next by her father.

It's not that papa is the one who wants to know all the personal information of Rania's friends. It's just, papa did this for Rania's own good. That difference in attitude was what Rania was surprised by. Papa could have just missed the usual information scraping action just because of a man named Khanif.
"What is the plus value of Khanif in papa's eyes? So papa's just acting normal to khanif?" rania asked in her heart while continuing to look for the advantages of Khanif.
After looking for nothing she got, Rania thought again and this time she got it, he thought that the khanif got a plus from his father because Khanif had allowed himself not to work until his legs were completely healed. Thinking about it, this option can quite affect papa's view. Especially if it concerns the health of Rania.
Rania was expecting it. But even though he had expected it, he was still wrong because it was not that that made papa give a plus in Khanif, but because Khanif had told him honestly.
