Chapter 43. A Sharp Instinct

For a moment they heard the sound of birds touching each other. However, it was not that that made them stop but rather that there was another voice that one of them knew that voice.

"That voice, Mr. Khanif's voice," Davina said. Davina then walked first looking for the origin of the sound.

Just now Davina was a few steps ahead, Davina's hand was blocked by Reyhan. Davina turned to Reyhan.

"Don't be rash. It might not be Khanif's voice."

Yes, Davina knew that, but there was no way her listeners were wrong by the agonizing moaning from the voice she had just heard. It can't be wrong. However, he also could not step forward if Reyhan still blocked his hand.

From a distance, he could see the horse that had been tunggani by Rania was already standing not far from him. He rushed towards the horse. But when he got there, he did not find Rania.

"Are you okay?" tanya Reyhan made a daydream while Khanif was gone.

"We are currently looking for him" Davina said calmly.

Reyhan was away. He contacted all his members, ranging from Eagle, Macau, Cockatoo and Cendrawasih. After the four of them came, Reyhan came back to them.

"From here you can go home. Let the five of us handle it."

Khanif kontan stood up and refused firmly. "No, I'll keep helping you."

Reyhan weighed little, but he refused Khanif's help.

"We can do it. There is danger here. These few days, the Eagle saw a group of suspicious people coming out into this forest. We don't want to put you in more danger. This forest is our terrain, and you are not."

"Let me take responsibility, however," Khanif said.

"If it's about the promise you made, don't worry. I'll keep it a secret."

Seeing the seriousness in the eyes of Khanif, Reyhan finally allowed Khanif to come along. But, not for Davina and the security guard father who already looks not young anymore.

"Cendrawasih, get this lady and dad back to where they belong."

Seeing it, the Eagle and Macau also walked ahead a few meters ahead of them to ensure that the front was safe. The cockatoo took part behind Khanif and Reyhan to ensure their rear was kept safe. 

Macau occasionally runs to the right and left to ensure that they remain safe from any danger. They keep on walking looking for Rania's whereabouts. Until they found a small house in the middle of this pine forest.

The eagle gestured by raising his clenched hand so that they would all stop walking and wait for him here. The eagle moved closer to the house. He was slowly walking closer. He wanted to keep an eye on anyone who occupied the cottage. Seeing that there were five people outside the house, did not make the Eagle satisfied.

He again walked quietly, avoiding suspicion of the five people with big bodies and curly hair. With his ingenuity and sharp eyesight watching the enemy, the Eagle can easily enter the area of the house.

Once again, the Eagle walked closer and closer to the small house to find out who was in there. After getting a reproach, the Eagle as quickly as possible ran to hide between the walls and then climbed it by relying on a few sticks lying there to easily reach its destination.

His efforts were not in vain. He could clearly see who was there. The trap was not wrong when choosing to peek at the largest house among other houses.

He was not surprised to see a woman held captive there with her hands bound and seated on a high bench. He also clearly heard their conversation.

"It was not in vain that we went around earlier. Look, we've got a soft prey" said a man with a plontos head.

The two men, in a hurry, approached the man they called the boss.

"We got a beautiful rabbit. Look, boss!" said one of them while glancing at Rania who is still unconscious from drugs.

"good job. You will get the bonus later. All right, you guys leave him alone, because I still have a job for you. After all, he won't run away so easily."

The two men nodded. They followed their boss out of there.

The Eagle who had been hiding since their boss came, had now appeared again. His gaze alternately looked at Rania and the entrance that had been tightly closed and also locked from the outside. He did not forget to look around in this room.

His vision stopped at the many packages on the table not far from Rania. The eagle then went to the package that made him curious. He opened one of them very carefully.

"Drugs!" yells. "It is only fitting that they choose a quiet place to hide this pack of marijuana!"

The eagle then looked back at Rania. If only Rania had been conscious, she would have been very easy to free Rania. Only, Rania seemed to have no signs of waking up.

If only the people outside were not too strict guarding this place, he would definitely bring Rania through the entrance of this house. Ah, just try to be that easy. He was sure they had escaped.

Once enough, the Eagle returned to his group again. Like when he came here, like that he left this place. But not far away he walked, someone from the plot saw him.

"I have to report to the boss immediately" said a man who saw the Eagle.
