Chapter 4. Rania's Regret

"Sorry." Her outstretched hand rubbed Rania's head to keep Rania calm by her side.

Rania came to her senses, she looked up to see who had embraced her at this moment.

"Well!" Rania was shocked to find out who the man who was calming her was at this moment. Then in a soft voice, he mentioned the name of this man who had helped him. "Zacky."

"Hem, what's wrong?" Zaky looked down at Rania who was also looking at him.

Suddenly Rania's cheeks felt hot and reddened. He lowered his face so that Zaky would not see the look on his changed face. With her hand still holding Zaky's shirt shyly, Rania said, "no! I'm fine."

"You're not scared anymore, are you?" ask Zaky to make sure.

"Yes, thank you for coming here."

"Where are you going? Let me take you there. Let's get in my car first. I'll call my garage to pick up your car here."

Rania also said the destination was Zaky who was driving his car at this time. As Zaky said, he called his garage to pick up Rania's car on the side of the road.

"I'm going to Khanif's house. He asked me to come to his house."

Actually I unintentionally listened to him as I passed by the side room. I saw Khanif talking to his office guy next to the house. The place is usually relaxing.

I was surprised at first when I heard your name mentioned and couldn't believe it was you. But seeing that you want to go to her house, I think my previous guess was right."

While at Khanif's house, he always paced waiting for Rania's arrival. He was so worried, afraid something might happen to him. Just now he wanted to call Rania when he saw a white suv car entering his spacious yard. He hurried down to the first floor. Even the call of his mother, he did not heed because he wanted to reach the front door immediately.

Arriving there, he crossed his chest to see Rania out of the white car that had come to his house to see the condition of his father. He looked like he didn't like it.

"Why just came now? I haven't called you since!"

"My car broke down on the road sir. Good thing Zaky helped me."

Khanif. Surely the car he saw was Zaky's car he used everyday when it came to checking the health of the father.

"Come in," he said.

"I'll wait for Zaky first sir."

"Why are you waiting for him, he has eyes and legs and he knows this house better than you. Coming in!"

Rania sees Khanif upset. If only Khanif was not his superior, he would have scolded him all out. Starting from messing up his break to making his car crash on the road. It's up to Khanif to tell him that he said khanif was the cause of his misfortune today.

Khanif passed in his study followed by Rania behind him. Just after Khanif threw his body in his office, Khanif even handed out two documents in front of Rania.

"Read this," Khanif said.

"What is this sir?" tanya Rania did not understand the intention of Khanif who gave her the document.

"What do you mean, father?" rania did not understand. Because he had checked repeatedly the contents of the document he was working on before giving it to Khanif.

Khanif then took the two documents and opened them on the same page to show Rania's error.

"Look, just because of this one zero, you almost made my company go bankrupt!"

"But sir, I'm not adding one more zero. I'm sure of that" he said solemnly.

"And because of your belief it makes me have to repeat it again."

Enough, Rania is already upset about Khanif's accusations against her. Without saying anything more, he passed leaving Khanif unfinished to speak to him.

Before reaching the exit, Rania turned to look at Khanif with an annoyed look and said, "i stopped!" While pointing his index finger at Khanif.

Khanif laughed funnyly hearing Rania snap at him with her pointy index finger pointing at him. But that made Rania wonder.

"My grandfather is cheating on me?"

"No."

Rania turned back to face the door. But, before he turned the doorknob, Rania again said, "liar." Afterwards, he opened the door of Khanif's office to leave the room that made him rise in blood.

"Eh, where are you going? I haven't talked to you yet."

"I want to go home. It's past my business hours, sir!" rania said without turning around while emphasizing the word 'pak' so that Khanif realized that the time is now past his working hours.

"You want to go home on foot?"

Rania turned around - astonished. "Don't you see that white car that drove me here? Don't try to threaten me, yeah."

"I told him to go home" he said casually as he leaned back on the back of the chair.

"Father I think I believe. Since when did you leave this seat until you told him to go home without waiting for me."

"You think this is a stone age that only needs to be face-to-face and just be able to know each other?" khanif said deliberately playing his phone in front of Rania.

Unknowingly Rania opened her mouth staring at Khanif in disbelief. Just now Rania wanted to shout at Khanif, the door behind him opened wide and revealed a middle-aged woman who looked dignified.

"Darling, the guest wasn't told to sit!" said Mama Adelin does not know who this beautiful woman in front of him.

"He wants to go home" Khanif said.

Rania, who was still turning her back to Mama Adelin, looked at Khanif with a forced smile.

"Yes mom. Mr. Khanif was right, I just wanted to ...." Rania's words were cut off as she turned back and looked at the face of the middle-aged woman called mama by Khanif. "Attante Adelin!" he continued to believe less in what he saw.

Mama Adelin was the same, she was surprised to see the girl who had helped her from the market ramshackle was in her son's work room.

"son Rania, you work in a aunt's office?"

In a momentary response, Rania nodded vigorously at Mama Adelin.

"This goes with aunt. Your meeting will also be over," asked Mama Adelin while pulling Rania's hand to follow her. Before Rania completely disappeared from behind the door, she turned back briefly to Khanif to show her winning smile.

Khanif who caught the smile Rania even smiled back, because according to him, Rania still looks like a small teenager in his heart that will always make him smile funny when there is an adorable Rania behavior like today.

In the calmness of that smile, Khanif recalled the moments where he began to know the figure of Rania.
