Chapter 99. Grandma's Emergence

Khanif accelerated his footsteps. He wants to know who has been looking for him, until Tama does not know about him. When Khanif arrived there, Khanif could clearly see who the man standing behind him was. Khanif then cleared his throat to resuscitate the man.

"Please sit down first" Khanif said.

"No, thank you. I'm only here for a moment to get my boss's message across," she said subtly.

Khanif nodded his head slowly. "What do you need to look for me?"

"We'd like to meet you tonight at eight o'clock at the diner the first time you meet."

Khanif who does not know what Reyhan wants to say to him did not ask Kakatua because Khanif guessed, if Kakatua did not know what his superior wanted to convey to him.

"God willing, I will come."

The cockatoo nodded and said, "good." After saying that, he passed from the presence of Khanif.

While Khanif, resumed his sight-seeing activities again. He saw the workers who were beginning to return to work. A moment Khanif saw, Tama who had left him because Khanif's man approached him again.

"We just sit there," Khanif asked Tama who had just arrived nearby to sit in a lounge chair with a round umbrella that protected them from the hot sun that began to sting.

"How long can this villa be inaugurated?"

"A week, sir. I'll make sure everything's done."

Khanif. If only his uncle had not committed an act of cheating in the construction of this villa, his villa would have been completed from far away. It was not that he did not want to be strict even though it was his own uncle. Only, every time he brought up the problem, the grandmother always defended her uncle.

While papa, mama who was also there just stared at ordinary Khanif. They even feel anxious that their child will get angry again from grandma. 

"Night, grandma, uncle" Khanif said as he sat next to his father. "Something like Grandma has something important to talk about so she can't wait until morning."

"Yes!" Without further ado, Grandma began to say the purpose of coming here. "Forget your uncle's trouble about building your villa in M's town."

Khanif looked at Grandma with a casual look. Khanif could have expected it. Sooner or later, grandma will definitely come to defend her uncle again.

"Sorry Grandma, Khanif can't."

"Grandmother doesn't understand. Khanif is doing this for the good of all of us, this family. Especially for uncle."

"Kill what! Even you want to make your uncle suffer."

"Grandmother wrong uncle. Khanif did not want uncle to suffer. Where there is a boy who wants to see his family hard especially his family is his own uncle."

"What do you mean?" grandma asked softened because she did not understand what Khanif really meant.

"Grandmother sit down first" Khanif said. After all, he loved his grandmother very much. But unfortunately, it can never be replaced if he has to exchange it for justice for the crowd.

Seeing that Grandma had sat back down and saw herself hopefully, Khanif continued his words again. "Khanif knew, uncle had made trouble and in grandmother's view, the problem that uncle made was a small matter. That's for grandma. But not for Khanif. Khanif did not consider it so when this problem even made people who had tried to suck even his sweat had dried up, made unfair by uncle."

Grandma stood up again. "So you still want to continue this matter?"

Grandma smiled disdainfully. Grandma turned to papa. "Look Dani, your son's behavior. The time he wanted to prolong his own uncle's troubles!" said the real grandmother asked for papa's support so that Khanif would bury the matter closely.

Finally, I don't want you to talk up. He no longer wants this problem to drag on. "Mama's right. Family is family and Dani should help her as much as possible. But we must also pay attention to those who have taken the time to work with us. For that, let it all be fair. Gunawan will have to replace all his losses and we will not process this matter any further."

"Yes, ma. It seems like this son and father do not want to support us" Gunawan said in their conversation.

Dani who knows that Gunawan deliberately add his words to grandma also makes Papa Dani become angry. Striking his anger, papa stood up from his seat and looked at Dani sharply.

Mama who was right next to papa also gently pulled papa's hand to tell him to sit back. Anyway papa can't be lured by Gunawan's bullshit.

"I've decided. Gunawan compensation or this problem continues," said papa firmly.

"Dani! He's got your sister."

"Dani knows. But Dani did it for the sake of the crowd!"

After saying so, papa left his own family and thus, his speech just now was final and should no longer be in disorder!

"The same father, no one wants to help his family!" said grandma before leaving the Khanif family home.

Well, if you know, papa Khanif and uncle Gunawan are sisters but different parents. In the past, papa's biological father was betrothed to grandma. When papa was little, he died and Grandma married again with her papa gunawan. For this reason, Grandma loved uncle Gunawan more than papa Khanif himself and tried to save Gunawan at any cost.

Thinking of the incident a few days ago made Khanif knead his temple and let out a long sigh. He had thought that grandma would definitely interfere, but Khanif never expected that grandma would interfere so far.
