Chapter 49. Rania's Childhood 2
The next day little Reyhan was already in Rania's room. He's been there since he woke up this morning. Enthusiastically, he waited for his sister to wake up. Not long after waiting, Rania's eyes slowly opened. Reyhan was so happy to know.
"Sister" call Reyhan.
Rania saw Reyhan. He could see Reyhan smiling at him. Even Rania could tell that Reyhan's smile this time was different from the days before. "Rania," said mama slowly.

Papa looked at my mom to ask her consent. Seeing her nodding her head, she took Rania in her cradle to pick Reyhan up from elementary school.
Knowing that, Rania is glad not to play. How not, two days he was locked in the room until he felt like he was there for a week.

Rania nodded. After that, he kept quiet until the car had reached Reyhan's school. Papa holds Rania back to enter the school grounds.
Far away, they can see Reyhan has just dropped out of class. Papa waved his hand. Seeing him, Reyhan rushed over to papa. His smile grew even more when he saw Rania also invited him to school.
"Sister" call Reyhan. He then accelerated his footsteps towards his father and sister.
Arriving near them, Reyhan just hugged papa who was still holding Rania.
"Where is school today?" ask papa. Reyhan let go of his embrace.
"Everything's good. Reyhan got a hundred in Reyhan's math assignment, pa."
Papa stroked riyena's head. He invited Reyhan to come home. "Come on."
"Es cream?" rania asked as papa no longer talked about buying ice cream as promised.
"Papa will give. So, Rania's sitting on the back with sister."
To get the desired ice cream, Rania finally chose to sit behind with Reyhan even though Rania's annoyance had not disappeared. But along the way, slowly the annoyance of Rania disappeared was replaced with a greater affection for the brother because Reyhan has been different from Reyhan who used to be.
Reyhan's treatment can be seen from the moment they were in the ice cream penjulan place. She painstakingly cleaned her sister's lips with strawberry-flavored ice cream that was lodged around her aunt. Papa was very happy to see the interaction of his two children. Even papa was more pleased when Rania had forgotten her irritation to her brother.
That is how their days are. Although Reyhan is sometimes more possessive than his father and mother, they don't bother about it. They were even proud to sound out a child like Reyhan who became a true brother to his sister.

Thinking about how their childhood was, Rania became a smile of her own. He wants to repeat his childhood with Reyhan. But he knew it would no longer be possible.
