Chapters 37. My Bargain Woman's
"Alright, because it's already here. Why don't we see something that can be bought. Who knows if something might interest you."
"You're right. Come on, let's go over there. Maybe it doesn't feel bad if we don't shop here."
Khanif and Rania went for a walk into a market that looked like it was not. There, they began to see anything that could attract their attention. After walking from the stall to the stall, Rania's eyes sparkled, she saw something that caught her attention. Rania walked closer.
"How much is this mom?" rania asks the middle-aged woman who sells elephant-shaped key chains.
"Fifty thousand, son."
Hearing this, Khanif immediately opened his wallet, about to give money to the seller's mother. But when Khanif had taken the red money, Rania instead held it by holding his arm. Then Rania took Khanif away for a while.
"Why?"
"Bather is why! Why not ask less first, just buy."
"Didn't you see the old salesman until you offered him again?"
Rania was silent, she then turned her head back to look at the middle-aged woman whose hair had almost turned white by looking at her with a smile. Rania again saw Khanif.
"Father's right. All right, no more bidding."
They went back to the seller's mother.
"I chose this, ma'am," said Rania, taking the elephant-shaped keychain.
Khanif then gave him the money.
"Aren't there any fitting money, son?" ask the seller's mother. The reason is, the money is not enough if you have to return Khanif's change.
Khanif then looked at the contents of his wallet which did not have the right money to be paid to the mother of the keychain seller.
"I'll just take this, so the money fits."
The mother nodded. Khanif smiled, then he took out a duck-shaped keychain again.
"Thank you son."
Once they get it, they walk away and look for anything else that they like. While looking around, Rania again invited Khanif to talk.
"Emm sir" said Rania slowly.
Khanif. "What's wrong?"
"If you may know, the other keychain is for Davina?"
Honestly, Rania was so curious when Khanif started saying he wanted to buy another keychain. He wondered who the keychain would be. He suspected Khanif would give the keychain to Davina.
However, in fact, his conjecture was wrong when Khanif said, "oh this." While looking at the duck-shaped keychain. Khanif smiles. "I didn't buy it for Davina."
Rania nodded. Looks like Khanif wants to give the keychain to someone else. But, to whom? Rania wondered in her heart. But did not stop him from asking Khanif. Because Khanif could have accused him of jealousy again.
Although in his words he said he was not jealous, but he did not know in his heart said jealous or not because he himself did not understand it either.
"Rania," call Khanif. Rania looked at him.
"Are you hungry?"
"Little."
"Cold is how good eating meatballs is. Incidentally there is someone selling it," pointed Khanif at the meatball stall at the end of the market. Khanif turned to Rania, then continued his words, "let's stop by first. Before going around again."
"But Davina? She ...."
"What's wrong, he must know what to do when hungry. Come on!"
"We'll just sit there" pointed Khanif at a corner of the room that was still empty without a buyer.
Rania nodded. He followed Khanif's footsteps. Not even Rania to the seat appointed by Khanif earlier, Rania stopped her footsteps.
"Why?" ask Khanif. Khanif looked at the direction of Rania's view and knew the meaning of Rania's residence.
"Just calm. I'll sit next to the guy. Let you just sit on the other end and eat quietly."
Rania smiled. After Khanif said it, Rania followed Khanif again. Not long after they sat down, the waiter approached them to record the order.
"Two bowls of super meatballs" Khanif told the waiter.
As soon as the waiter, Rania called Khanif in her soft voice, "sir!"
"Hem, why?"
"It seems like I can't afford that much food" tweeted Rania.
"Calm down, surely you will say if you want to ask for more," Khanif said casually.
Rania glaring. Is it true what Khanif said? "Alright, let's just look at it for a moment" Rania said in her heart.
Patiently waiting for orders. Until the waiter who had approached them again with a tray containing two bowls of super meatballs.
"Thank you" Khanif said.
The servant nodded and immediately passed from before them. Rania and Khanif began to mix meatballs in front of each of them. Rania gave him sweet soy sauce, lime and chili sauce that much until the sauce is red.
As for Khanif, he was slightly different from Rania. Although still giving soy sauce, lime and chili sauce, but the chili sauce given Khanif is not too much. In fact, it can be said, the spiciness is nothing for people who like spicy lovers like Rania.
Yes, Khanif is not a person who likes spicy food. For this reason, Khanif meatball sauce is not as red as Rania meatballs and not as spicy as Rania meatballs as well.
Finished with his own concoction, Khanif and Rania began to eat their food with pleasure until it was not left.
Even it seems that the words of Khanif had to Rania was true, because Rania still seems to want to add to her meal even though the portion of food is small. However, Rania was so ashamed of Khanif, if he had to add more. So, Rania also undoes her intentions. Let's just eat enough up here too. Next time, if there is time, surely Rania will visit this meatball stall again.
Thinking about it, making Rania have a plan if she has free time later, Rania will bring Reyhan here. Although maybe Reyhan has come yesterday. But it's okay, Rania will still bring Reyhan here. As well as making memories between the two of them with selfie as he had done with Khanif earlier.
Remembering Khanif, Rania was looking for Khanif's whereabouts. I don't know where Khanif is now. Rania moves from there looking for the whereabouts of Khanif who disappeared suddenly when he just finished his meal.
"It turns out Mr. Khanif again received a phone call apparently," said Rania after seeing Khanif was calling someone outside the meatball shop.
While waiting for Khanif to finish calling someone, Rania went to the cashier to pay for their food. Yes, this is one of Rania's habits. He doesn't want to be paid by anyone except Papa and Reyhan.
Finished paying, Rania went to Khanif at the right time Khanif stopped his phone.
"Wait a minute, I'll pay for our meal."
"No, sir, I paid for it."
Khanif was surprised, really he had just first gotten a girl like Rania. Not wanting to make Rania disappointed, Khanif did not comment on Rania's actions.
"You still want to look around?"
Rania nodded. When Khanif was about to step his feet to follow Rania's will, Khanif became reminded of something. Is it because of this pleasure until he forgets something as important as that?
