The missing Spongebob episode

"The Spongebob Lost Episode" or "Lost Spongebob Episode" is an Urban Legend story about the pirated video of the TV show Spongebob Squarepants. This episode is said to be cursed and many people who have seen it die or disappear mysteriously.

This image was taken from a broken pirated video of a lost episode of Spongebob Squarepants. The episode consists almost entirely of black, color or screen only. The audio seems to be very distorted, with loud, sometimes screeching sounds of metal screeching.

The pirated footage itself was discovered in December 2004 by a group of five teenagers dismantling it in a dumpster behind an abandoned mental hospital. Of the five people, two committed suicide, one mysteriously missing, the other declined to comment. They ventured out and handed copies of the episode to investigators, shortly after learning about the suicide and the disappearance of three other friends.

Those who have seen the episode say that there is only one short sequence that can be seen. The image above was taken from the scene, where the moment on the screen Spongebob is seen standing in a dark room. He leaned over and down with a grim look on his face. His eyes were red and looked as if he had cried.

After about 10 seconds, he blinked slowly and let out a big breath. Then he reached out and took out a bottle of pills from a nearby table. Color kept flickering from light to dark and Spongebob was like getting a bottle and tears falling down his face.

The colors start flickering faster and faster, and in the background, the screams and cries of children can be heard. Then, the voice stopped and was replaced by silence. Still flickered eeriely, Spongebob quickly twisted the cap from the bottle and all the pills he had in the bottle in swallow into his mouth.

The whereabouts of the footage is unknown and it is suspected that it was destroyed by the authorities. Most of the people who claimed to have witnessed it were already dead. The only thing left of the missing episode is the single still image you see above. Many people claim that if you stare at a picture for a long time, there are strange things that will happen...
