My sister has experienced sleep paralysis (straining) since sitting in first grade, an unusual age to experience it, because this phenomenon is usually due to stress from the outside environment. Why we never understood. He was too young to experience stress. His dreams were so bad that he would stay up all night. As a result, he would fall asleep while in his afternoon classes. Then he will experience that cycle, over and over again. Honestly, we don't understand what happened to Annie and how to treat her. For my parents, the real nightmare was when their daughter was suffering from an unexplained illness.
Doctors always say the same thing. Lights, teddy bears, anything that can calm him down, should always be provided in bed. But all advice2 still can not stop his bad dream2. What kind of nightmare is he having, I once asked him that. And he always said the same thing: an old woman stood on her bed, propping him up. Her hair was long and messy, her smile was wide, her eyes were scary. My sister will tremble and scream until she wakes up. He said that he knew, someday, that woman would succeed. But we just thought of it as a nightmare that he thought was too real.
One night my sister woke up from the same nightmare and the same torment. But this time he came to my room and woke me up. Seeing him in the dark made me quite frightened. I was surprised at that time, why he did not come to the room of father and mother, instead came to my room.
“I don't want to wake them in the middle of the night,” he replied, “Tony .. Would you like to accompany me tonight?”
I'm not sure. We were teenagers and it was going to be a strange experience. But he was my brother and I accepted him. He slept on my bed, and I lay on the floor. It became a habit of ours every night and our parents sometimes came to check on us. For them it might be very sweet to see us as brothers and sisters protecting each other. But I always wake up in the morning with pain in my back.
One night Annie woke up. His eyes are wide open. But something in me says that he's still asleep. I stood up and approached him on the bed. He began to raise his hand and wave it, as if he was being controlled by something outside of himself. Suddenly he shouted, “Don't! Don't!”.
I know that he is fighting against whatever haunts his dream2. All I can do is wake her up. He immediately rose with tears flooding his eyes and violently pushed me. I mean, he was right2 pushing me with all his strength, too much energy for a girl of his age. He looks rough, very rude. Arrived2 he woke up and looked at me who had fallen on the floor.
“I don't know what happened,” cried, “I'm sorry .. don't leave me alone in this room, please, don't be mad!”
And yeah, I stayed there the next night. I fell asleep on the floor, while he slept comfortably in his bed. After about 20 minutes of falling asleep, he suddenly woke up .. Well, you know what I mean, his eyes were open and yet he was still dreaming. Then he started screaming. My sister obviously looked very scared. His blanket he threw just like that and covered my body lying on the floor.
I pulled the blanket from my face and saw it arriving2 was already standing at the end of the bed. He stared sharply and muttered indistinctly,
“ ... approaching ... approaching ..”
At this point, I began to feel terrified by this terror2. How could something as simple as pierihan give my sister such superpowers to take down a young man like me? It was as if there was something inside him, controlling his body beyond his will. And whatever it was, he gave the power to hurt his brother, the only one who tried to help him.
On the third night, I woke up again because of a blanket thrown towards my face. Started again, I thought. I'm trying a new approach. He looks even more angry tonight. His eyes widened and he screamed, trying to dispel whatever was in front of him. I crept to the side of the bed, but I noticed that his eyes were looking at the side where I used to sleep.
It was as if he was looking for me.
I got closer to him, but before I got there ...
His head suddenly turned towards me and he shouted indistinctly, “ ..... approaching !!!”
I walked up to him and our eyes met. Just as I was about to wake him up, he suddenly grabbed me by the shirt and threw me on the floor.
I crawled on the floor, trying to get away from him. But with the full power of adrenaline, arrived2 he jumped out of bed and grabbed my hand. He then pulled me out of the room and slammed the bedroom door behind us.
“What the fuck are you?” I screamed at my sister. Our parents were awake because of the noise we made and came out of the room. I felt a little guilty for yelling at my sister, but she was right2 freaked me out and confused. It's not the first time he's hurt me in his sleep and I demand an explanation!
“I woke up in the middle of my dreams ..” said, “I've warned you many times, yet you've never heard! Don't come any closer!”
“What?" I shook my head. So that's what my sister was trying to say? I just heard his last word alone, “Near.” I always thought he wanted me to come up to him and wake him from his sleep, but quite the opposite. I then told him how he slammed me to the floor, not only tonight, but also two nights before. Our parents listened too.
“This time I've been right2 wake up.” Tears flowed down his cheeks. He seemed completely unaware of what he had just done to me in the room. “The old woman standing on my bed is trying to get inside you. I saw him trying to climb into your mouth while your mouth was open ...”
Don't come any closer. That impulse. My brother tried to save me from everything in that bedroom. Arriving2 I realized something was stuck in my mouth, as if something was tucked between my teeth2. I put my finger in my mouth and pulled something out.
A broken nail.
