Hell Theater
The basement

A young man accepted a job as a tomb manager. This was not the kind of job he wanted. But what can be done, he really needs money and only this job that he managed to get in a short time.

The young man was very afraid of corpses, but fortunately his work was only light work. His job was to sweep, mow the grass, and clean the tomb. While tasks related to the corpse such as preparing the corpse and funeral procession are the duties of the more senior tomb officials.

But there was one thing that the young man hated. He did not need to see the body directly while working. But there are times when he works in the basement where dead pet-cakes containing bodies are stored. In Western countries, wealthy people usually create a basement where their coffins and their families are placed, rather than buried like ordinary people.

The young man hated the basement, because it was dark, dusty, and full of dead bodies.

One day, the young man was tasked with cleaning up a basement. With a heavy heart he did his job.

As he was cleaning the nameplates in the room, a strong wind blew and closed the door of the basement. The young man immediately panicked and tried to open it, but it was free.

He was locked in a room full of bodies.

The young man tried to scream, but no one heard his screams. The young man tried to calm himself and saw a window above the room.

The sunlight penetrated through that window reluctantly. Then he could crawl out that window. The problem is, the window is very high. He can't possibly reach it.

He looked around the room.

All that was there were coffins.

The young man made sense.

When he piles up the crates, he can make some kind of ladder that he can use to reach that window. He then tried to overcome his fear and began to move the coffins.

Beyond his expectations, the crates turned out to be light. Perhaps it was because the corpse inside had long since decayed and left behind only bones.

He managed to stack up a few coffins and started to climb up.

“Ouch!” the young man shouted. He felt pain in his heels. He suspected the wood from the coffin was scraping it.

He finally reached the window and crawled out.

The young man walked over in limp and finally met the tomb guard who was his boss.

“What happened to you?” ask the boss to be astonished.

The young man told me everything.

“Then why are you walking limping like that?”

“So my leg was scratched wood from the coffin.”

“Mana, try me check.”

The young man sat on a tombstone and his boss then examined the young man's heel.

The tomb guard then looked at the young man with a pale face.

“But this is not a wood scratch wound, Nak.”

“Then what?”

“It's human bite marks ..”
