Carmen Winstead was 17 when her parents decided to move to Indiana. His father has lost his job and the only way he can find a new job is to move to a new country. That relocation caused a lot of trouble for Carmen. He had to leave his friends behind and attend a new school in Indiana.
Carmen had a hard time making friends when she moved schools. It was the middle of the school year and most of the students were not interested in making friends with the new girl. Initially, he spent many days alone, walking from class to class without talking to anyone, but he eventually started hanging around with a group of five other girls. Carmen thought these girls were her friends, but it wasn't long before she learned that they had been talking about her behind her back and spreading dirty rumors.
As she Carmen confronts them, the girls turn around and start bullying her every day, making her life miserable. They start calling her name, but then the bullying gets worse. One day, she left her school book in the classroom during break time. When he returns, he discovers someone has made dirty words and written dirty throughout his books. Another day, he opened his bag and found someone had poured yoghurt all over the inside. Sometimes, she comes to school and finds her locker has been tampered with. Lastly when he put on his coat at rest and discovered that someone had stuffed dog poop into his pocket.
There and then, Carmen decides that she can no longer because she continues in bullies. He planned to stay behind, that night, after school, and tell his teacher what had happened. Unfortunately, his decision was too late to save his life.
After lunch, his teacher announced that the school was holding a fire drill. When the alarm went off, Carmen and the other students walked out of the classroom and gathered in the courtyard outside. When the teachers read out absentees, the horde of five girls decides that this is a great opportunity to embarrass Carmen in front of the entire school during a fire drill. They moved to where Carmen was standing, near the sewer, and started crowding the poor girl, and pushed her into the open pit.
They pushed him and he tripped and his head fell down the manhole. When they saw her fall, the girls started laughing and when Carmen's name was called, they shouted, "She's in the sewer!"
There was nothing the teacher could do for him. Carmen is dead. When the police arrived and went down the gutter, they said that his neck was broken. His face was torn when he hit the stairs on the street and his neck was broken when his head landed on the concrete at the bottom.
The police hauled Carmen's body out of the sewer and sent her to the mortuary. Everyone has to stay behind after school while the police question all of Carmen's classmates. The five girls lied to police, saying they watched Carmen fall into a ditch. Police believe the girls and Carmen Winstead's death were pronounced due to an accident and the case was closed. Everyone thought that was the last thing they heard about Carmen Winstead, but they were wrong.
A few months later, Carmen's classmates began receiving strange e-mails on their MySpaces. The e-mail was titled "They Pushed Her" and stated that Carmen had not really fallen into the sewer, she had been pushed. The e-mail also warned that guilty people should have and be held accountable for their crimes. If they don't there will be terrible consequences. Most people think of e-mail as a hoax, but others are not so sure.
A few days later, one of the girls who pushed Carmen down was taking a shower when she heard a strange laugh. It looks like it came from the sewer. The girl started to panic and ran out of the bathroom. That night, the girl said good night to her mother and went to bed.
Five hours later, her mother was awakened in the middle of the night, by a loud noise that echoed throughout the house. She ran to her daughter's room, only finding it empty. There was no trace of the girl. The worried mother called the police and when they arrived, they conducted a search in the area. Finally, they found the remains of the girl's hideous body.
His body was lying in a ditch, covered in dirt and grime. His neck was broken and his face was missing. It's been completely torn. One by one, all the girls who pushed Carmen that day were found dead. They had all been killed in exactly the same way and all were found in the exact same place. In the sewer at the bottom of the same hole, where Carmen met her end.
But the killing doesn't stop there. More and more of Carmen's former classmates were found dead. It seems that anyone who did not believe that Carmen had been pushed, was eventually found in a gutter with their necks broken and their faces torn.
They say that Carmen's ghost is still on the rampage, hunting down anyone who doesn't believe her story. According to legend, Carmen will catch you, whether it's from a toilet, shower, sink, or drain. When you go to sleep, you will wake up in the sewer, in total darkness, paralyzed, unable to move, hearing the chuckling laughter around you. Then, as you shout in horror, Carmen will come and tear your face.
So be careful who you bully, as you may find yourself on the edge of the Carmen Winstead Curse.
