I WISH THERE WAS HAPPINESS

I WISH THERE WAS HAPPINESS
CHAPTRE 3

I sighed, stimulating my brain and mind to come back positive, neutralizing my heart to be ready to face the shock I was about to go through, I had to focus.

After I could control everything, I hesitantly stepped my feet on the last rung of the stairs. I closed my eyes for a moment, inhaling the air there, smelling the fragrance of the floor cleaner. I'm more and more convinced that if I have to get through this, no matter what happens, I have to get this done.

Slowly I opened my eyes, and at once I saw tension everywhere. There are about twenty more people, whose fate is at stake through the job interview that is being carried out at this time, everyone seems to focus on their respective minds.

Some of them are watching the phone, some are busy reading (whether what?), some are trying to talk to others. While me? I looked at their uneasiness, and tried to observe and calm my heart.

There was a chair dedicated to us who waited for a job interview turn, I approached the long chair that had been filled by several other participants, he said, then I sat down on one side of the long chair.

One of the suitors on my right noticed that the place next to her was no longer empty, she stopped from listening to music or anything, because she had earphones on both sides of her ear, he looked at me.

“Excuse me, Do you happen to work here?” tanyakanya.

She unhesitatingly asked me, I flinched, shocked, to be honest I was unprepared for such a sudden interaction. She's a girl I'd expect to be two or three years older than me.

“Ti-no, I .. I only attended the interview invitation,” I replied, awkward.

“Oh walah, the same anyway, gua think you've been working from a long time here, end you don't wear rich clothes of the people tuh,” he said, pointing to people who were dressed neatly, he said, white shirt and black pants. “Oh, know the name of the cave, Dita,” he added, reached out.

I was surprised, I did not expect anyone who could instantly familiarize themselves like Dita, while I was just busy worrying about this and that. Dita's hand said, not immediately I welcome, I pay attention to her first with a trembling snore.

“Lu, no papa, ‘kan?” dita asked, seeing me just pecking.

“Gu .. a. sa-me ... I'm fine,” I replied, stuttered.

“Gosh, do not be stiff so ah, the cave is not bit, just calm, relax just the same cave mah,” said Dita, smiling. “Lu can also use the cave-elu, the same cave, free, cave does not mind,” added Dita, increasingly making me shrivel his guts.

“Ah, sorry. Uh, yes, my name is Rinda,” I said, welcoming Dita's hand, which has been hanging since.

“Oh, Rinda, Rinda, the cave will swallow, greetings yes, do not be afraid anymore,” he said, smiling kindly.

“Te-thank you .. please continue,” I said, because Dita had let go of her earphones earlier, for the sake of welcoming me, I feel guilty.

“Oke, the turn of the cave is still long, so this dreaded cave just, another dizzy look paced. You just sit there, free to say what, your turn is also still long, ‘kan?” inexplicably.

“I-iya ...” I couldn't stop stuttering, because I was really confused and awkward, but fortunately Dita didn't judge me, I should be relieved for that.

The introductory session was over, I fell silent again, there was a lot going on in my mind, thinking about some of the worst possibilities.

One by one job interview participants were called into the room, I was not stopping to pay attention to those who came out of the room, implied a look of anxiety and relief from them. I was getting more agitated, more scared, and the more I couldn't digest anything, the more I thought about the no-no.

At that moment, my phone notification rang, diverted my attention and immediately opened the message. This time the message still came from the man who never tired of being by my side. I hurriedly read the message, he came at the right time, I needed to calm down.

Crowned Son: How is it, already?

Me: Belom, still have to wait for the cave.

The Crown: Temenin cave, deh.

Me: Whatever!

I tried not to look very needy of him, my prestige, if I had to admit that I needed him at this time, so I tried to answer his message as if I did not care about him.

SonCrown: Why wait again?

Me: Who came a lot, dizziness cave, gua kira, doang cave, ‘kan.

PutraMahkota: Do not be dizzy, dizziness is the same as cave later.

Me: Cave mending run!

Son of the Crown: Well, run in the mind and live in a cave.

Me: Your stress!

Not long after, my name was called to enter the room, I had to leave Joseph.

Me: First, the cave was called.

The Crown: Okay, Spirit! Do not forget the same cave, you must succeed, just calm the cave of prayer just for you doang.

After that I prepared to enter, my chest pounding violently, the trembling never disappeared since I set myself on the second floor of this building. My mind is stormy, the shadows uncertain, come and go.

I opened the door of the room, it felt cold, as soon as I entered I saw the chairs that had been provided.

“Excuse me,” my word.

“Please enter, and please sit comfortably,” one of the testers told me.

“How are you?” asked the only woman with a friendly smile to greet me.

“Good,” replied.

“Please introduce yourself,” he said again.

“Include my name, Rinda Elpida, I graduated S1 majoring in business administration at one of the universities in this big city,”.

“What is your purpose for coming here?” ask again.

Official job interviews began, I improved my dududk position, became more upright, and tried to calm down. I sighed, before answering all those questions, this is a good opportunity, I should be able to get through this, I promised.

“To fulfill the job interview call addressed to me yesterday morning,” I replied again, according to the facts.

The interviewer is seen taking notes, I don't know what they're recording. Then the bespectacled interviewer glanced at his companion who was beside his left, who glanced at him then nodded his head.

“Why are you interested in working in this company?” ask a man with glasses.

“The company has an excellent reputation, the company is also large and many divisions can accommodate workers, in any field as per our expertise. Coincidentally a few weeks ago, I saw the job announcement, there was an administration section listed there, this was to my ability. I will be dedicated in this company,” I replied straightforwardly.

Answering the question turned out not as nervous as I waited for my turn. Maybe it was because the room was comfortable, so I felt relaxed.

“How much salary do you request from this company?”

Interview sessions enter the realm of the most vulnerable, this question is arguably a trap, but also does not necessarily make us have to feel disturbed by questions like this.

“If later I have worked in this company, I am very sure that this company already has a budget and standard salary range for the position I submitted. I have the competence that is a mandatory requirement of this company, therefore I will respectfully receive the maximum salary range for the position I submit in my application letter,” I replied.

Questions are constantly ongoing, with the weight of questions constantly increasing, they play an excellent role as testers. I answered all the questions in accordance with the facts that I felt, except for the salary problem, I followed the instructions given by the forum that I went to at that time.

Thirty minutes passed, the interview session was over. After they said they would contact me within the next few days, I was welcome to leave the room. I said thank you, and stood up and passed from the chair I was sitting in.

I stepped back, holding the same doorknob that was thirty minutes ago I opened.

Outside there were a few more people waiting, including Dita. I approached him again, to say goodbye to him.

“Udah? Succeed?” tanya Dita, precede me.

I shook my head, I don't know, I'm not even sure if I've done the interview right or not. Not falling in the middle of the crowd was already profitable, I did not have time to think the interview session would be successful or not.

“Heh, lu why?” tanya Dita, watching me fall silent. “Why shoots, you don't papa, ‘kan?” dita asked back, sounding worried about me.

“Ti-no, I .. I am okay, ta-but ... I have to come back soon,” I said.

“You sure papa, want the anter cave out? Lu puket really, cave afraid you why-why, dah,” he said.

“No, papa, no need to transfer, thank you. I ... I first, yes?” I said, rejecting Dita's invitation.

“Ya already, be careful you,” said.

I walked in haste, left Dita, I had to go down the emergency stairs again, I kept walking, and hoped not to meet many more people down there.

I walked towards the emergency staircase that had taken me to the second floor, descending down in silence. After this I do not know when I can come again, the organizer said that the announcement of acceptance will be announced one week later.

Although not necessarily I was accepted in this company, but because I have fulfilled my obligations, I should have pinned my hopes on those who had participated in my job interview, right?.

I hope that fret no longer makes me uneasy, may there be good news in the coming week. May the beauty of the twilight of that time, manifest in the near future, because I have struggled to fulfill every obligation. May every prayer I pray accompany my success.
