Conscious Because Elza

"Mama .. I miss Mama," whispered Elza as she grabbed Fina's body, "I love Mama. I want Mama to wake up now. Don't leave me like a baby girl, Ma," continued Elza with sobs that sounded bitter.

The little boy was in the ICU to meet the figure of the mother who had been taking care of him. For two days now Fina was unconscious after knowing that the baby she was born with died. The medical team deliberately moved Fina to the ICU room for intensive care and special monitoring. Today his condition began to stabilize after yesterday's drastic decline. Perhaps the beautiful woman was in shock over everything that had happened in her life.

"Mama needs to wake up! I want to play with Mama!" elza's tears sounded bitter on the mother's side.

The family deliberately brought Elza to see the condition of her mother. They thought it was possible that Elza's voice could trigger Fina's recovery of consciousness. The little boy was only accompanied by a nurse who served there because only one person was allowed into this special room.

"Adek had to say something that could make Mama angry. Try to remember anything that can make Mama angry," whispered the nurse as Elza straightened up.

Elza was pensive there. It seemed like the little boy was recalling a moment that could provoke Fina's emotions. He turned his gaze toward the glass window, where his entire family was gathering. There's Ani, Sukirman, Badiah, Nisa, Benny, Dita and Dani waiting for him out there. They hoped that Elza would be able to awaken Fina from this condition. Elza immediately drew closer to Fina's ears after finding something that could make Fina emotional.

"Mama .. I'm sad to be at Uti's house. I always scolded Aunt Dita. He's evil, Ma! I can't play as well as Galang" said Elza confidently.

The heart monitoring sound goes louder. The graphics on the monitor screen moved quickly and that meant Fina started responding to her son's voice. His emotions began to rise after hearing Elza's complaints.

"Continue, Deck! Even sadder for Mama to wake up!" the nurse whispered after monitoring the graphics on the monitor screen.

"Do I have to cry, Auntie?" Elza asked in a whisper. The nurse thumbs up at him as a sign of agreeing with Elza's idea.

"I'm sad, Ma. Ever since Mama was here, I've been at home with Aunt Dita. Yesterday I spilled Auntie's drink and the glass broke. Then I was hit, Ma! I was sick but no one helped me. Hua!" Elza complained with a loud sobbing sound.

"Come, Ma! Up, Ma! Let's get Aunt Dita back! Mama has to help me, Ma!" Elza shook Fina's hand like she was whining for a toy.

"Why didn't Mom wake up! Bad mama! My mom doesn't love me anymore! I'm going home, I'm going to Mama Nurmala's!" elza said while releasing his hand grip on Fina's palm.

The graphics on the monitor continued to move up and unexpectedly Fina's hand clutched her hand tightly. The beautiful woman was holding Elza back from leaving. Of course this made the nurse smile and after that he called the doctor.

"Elza!" The pale lips opened along with a weak-sounding voice. The nurse and the doctor witnessed firsthand how Fina was aware of her long sleep.

The three people who were on the bed side of Fina stayed waiting for the next development because they were sure that Fina would soon be conscious. Seconds have passed and the ICU doctor's prediction has become a reality. The eyelids slowly opened. Several times the eyelids blink because they have to adjust the bright light in the room.

Without saying much, the nurse lifted Elza's body to sit on the edge of the bed so that Fina could see the handsome face of the little boy. Fina turned her eyes to the side so she could look at the son's face.

"Mama, I love Mama" said Elza, hugging the still weak body tightly, "Mama must heal quickly in order to go home. I miss Mama" said Elza without straightening her body. He still hugged the mother's body tightly because the longing was still shackling.

"Mama misses Elza, too" Fina replied in a soft-sounding voice.

After giving Fina and Elza a few minutes, the medical team ended the meeting with the mother and son due to a series of examinations. Elza was escorted out by the nurse who had accompanied her since she entered the ICU.

"Let's look at that window! How many families are waiting for Mother's consciousness" the doctor pointed to the family outside the room.

Fina followed the doctor's directions. He developed a faint smile after seeing all the families waving at him. He misses the person who is in a wheelchair. The figure of the husband showing a sweet smile but with dewy eyes.

"Mom should be healed. How many families are waiting for you to recover." The doctor gave encouragement to Fina during the examination.

Meanwhile outside the large family room it welcomed the arrival of Elza who had just come out of the ICU. The little boy slammed into Benny's arms and spilled his sobs there. I don't know what made the little boy cry in his father's warm arms.

"I'm afraid Mama's gone like a baby," muttered Elza in her father's arms, "but now I'm happy because Mama is awake," she continued without breaking her body.

"What did Elza say until she woke up?" ask Benny. The former widower was just curious about the way Elza used, because since yesterday everything had tried to wake Fina but failed.

The little boy unraveled his body and after that he walked up to Dita. He looked at Dita for a while because he was still hesitant to tell the real reason. Elza was afraid that Dita would get angry because she had already used her father's sister as a scapegoat.

"Tante Dita, I'm sorry I complained to Mama that Auntie was evil to me. The sister said, I was told to make Mama angry, so I complained to Mama if Aunt was evil and hit me," explained Elza while holding the hand of her father's sister.

Everyone was surprised to hear Elza's explanation because they did not expect Elza to be that smart in finding ideas. Yes .. although they know if later Dita is the one affected. Benny's younger brother could only sigh heavily after hearing the explanation from his nephew.

"Mama's happy aunt you're conscious, but Aunt is sad after knowing that Aunt will be silent Mama Fina after she recovers. Oh clever niece .. You put Aunt in trouble," muttered Dita with a sad facial expression. He wiped the remaining tears that drenched his cheeks.
