Day after day passed non-stop. Time has taken everyone through colorful days and memories until two years have passed. Change after change has taken place though not everything has to change because of time. Life goes on without stopping. Sadness and happiness have all been felt during these two years.
"Ma, I want to go to tutoring first," said Elza after performing the Ashar prayer.
"Well tomorrow is it a vacation, brother? Time for the lesson to come in?" asked Fina while looking at her son, she continued.
"Oh yes .. yes! Tomorrow is a holiday." Elza muttered as she threw herself beside Fina. Too excited to make Elza forget if she has entered the even semester holiday period.
The boy who used to be considered wild and naughty, now. She had just taken fourth grade at her school with the best grades. Several medals have been won while participating in the pencak silat competition. The full support of the parents makes Elza a spirit of learning and scoring a proud achievement.
"What do you want to teach? The fourth grade book has not been shared yet!" Fina looked at the son tightly.
"Then I go to the Son's house can't I, Ma?" Elza asked Fina.
"It's late afternoon, don't play, brother. Papa will be home soon," said Fina while patting Elza on the shoulder, "if playing to Zahra's house can deh," said Fina while raising one eyebrow.
"Ck. Mama! Why does it always have to be Zahra! I am so sorry for her. Onion, chatty, whiny!" gerutu Elza for not liking every time Fina told him to play with Zahra.
Sometimes the little girl herself comes to this house to invite Elza to play. In fact, he often gets unpleasant treatment from the son continued Fina, but it seems Zahra himself who does not want to be separated from Elza.
"If he comes here, just tell him I'm leaving, Ma. I don't like playing with him!" elza said firmly, "oh yes, Zia where? How is tumben deserted?" Elza circulated her gaze because she did not hear the babbling voice of her beloved sister.
"Sadik follow Mbok Jum to the front shop of the complex. Ask for ice cream," explained Fina.
Simultaneously, Shazia's voice rang out from the connecting door of the garage and the living room. The two-year-old eight-month-old boy ran with two ice cream contongs. His screams were heard echoing there.
"Akak Eza, this is cream for Akak," said Shazia while offering an ice cream in his right hand.
"Whoa! Thank you." Thank you." Elza was very enthusiastic when she received Shazia's gift.
While Fina could only smile cheerfully when she saw the interaction of Elza and Shazia. He was happy to see the children grow up well and get along well. Yes ... although Elza is often upset when she hears Shazia crying.
"Assalamualaik." There was a baritone sound coming from the direction of the living room. Benny's footsteps echoed there, "oh, Papa's kids at what's this eating?" ask Benny after arriving at the family room. He sat on the sofa, where Shazia was standing at the moment.
"I got ice cleam, Pa." Shazia showed me the chocolate ice cream contong in her hand.
"Wow, this is so good. Papa wants dong!" Benny was very enthusiastic when responding to his daughter's reply, "Papa may I ask?" benny asked as he looked at Shazia lovingly.
"No! Papa bought it himself!" sergeant Shazia with a look of dislike.
Unexpectedly, Benny just devoured the ice cream. Shazia's expression turned sad because the tip of the ice cream was lost swallowed by Benny. The nearly three-year-old boy's cry finally broke and echoed there.
"Mrs ... Papa naughty! My ice cream was taken! Huawey ...." Shazia approached Fina and showed ice cream in her hands.
"Father!!" fina growled while looking at Benny who was laughing loosely looking at his crying daughter.
"Can't be that whiny, Deck! Can't be stingy!" sahut Elza firmly because it does not like every look Shazia cry.
"Why, Honey?" Fina extended her hand to greet the crying Shazia.
"Well, there's still chocolate? There are many. Shazia can't be stingy anyway. If anyone asks for a favor, okay?" Fina gave an understanding to Fina.
"I don't want to eat this anymore!" reject Shazia on the sidelines sobs as Fina gives her ice cream again.
"Well, if you don't want to eat. Shazia can't buy ice cream anymore. Mama won't buy Shazia anymore!" Fina looked at Shazia firmly.
Not because of love or affection for the child. Fina just wants to educate Shazia so as not to grow into a child who seems to be alone, stingy or like to scatter food. He stared fixedly at Shazia who was still roaring on his lap.
"Here, don't cry anymore. Let's continue to eat ice cream. Want to buy again or not?" fina firmly while looking fixedly at the little boy who was still in tears.
"Now, Ma. Mau," Shazia replied without stopping her crying.
"Don't cry anymore, okay?" Fina stared fixedly at her daughter's eyeball.
Shazia could only nod her head while receiving the ice cream. While Fina was busy wiping away the tears that soaked her cheeks adorable like the bakpao. Then, Fina kissed her daughter's puffed cheek lovingly.
"I'm sorry, son. Mama didn't mean to be mean to you. Mama just wanted the best," Fina's inner self as she looked at Shazia who was enjoying ice cream on her lap.
"Shazimu ... Can you ask for a not?" Benny returns to tease his newly calm daughter.
Of course this managed to make Fina widen her eyes. She was suddenly upset to see her husband's attitude because he liked to tease Shazia to tears. Benny only chuckled at the expression on the face of the great charmer that was in this house.
"Father if you want, just ask for mine! This, Pa." Elza moved from her place and approached Benny, "don't make Shazia cry again, Pa. It could break my eardrum if I kept hearing Shazia cry" said Elza after being by her father's side.
Benny rubbed his son's hair several times because he was proud of the attitude Elza showed. Of course Benny knows if Elza will grow up to be a responsible man in the future.
"Papa didn't ask. Just spend it," she replied with a sweet smile. Tiredness that had felt after spending time in the factory, is now gone after meeting with children and wives at home.
The ice cream drama is over. The two were busy enjoying each other's ice cream without anyone talking. Elza moved from her place and walked towards the corner of the room to throw away the used ice cream. He returned to his place at his father's side.
"Pa, it's vacation now. So, when am I circumcising, Pa?" elza asked after recalling a discussion a few months ago about his desire to immediately circumcise.
"Elza sure you've dared circumcision? Don't wait for sixth grade?" ask Benny again.
"Related, Pa. I have been brave. After all, many friends have circumcised, Pa. I live in the past I missed. One more, Pa! I don't want a party at home. I don't want to be like other friends. I'm embarrassed later!" elza said while looking at her father.
Benny did not answer the question immediately. He was thinking about when the right time to realize his son's wishes. Given a few more days Nisa herself will hold her wedding.
"After Aunt Nisa's wedding. Next week Elza circumcised. Later Papa talk to Uti and Akong first." Benny accepts his son's wishes. Shouldn't good wishes be stirred up?
