The smell of the drugs seeps into the sense of smell of a man sitting on the side of the patient's bed. His eyes were fixed on the figure of a beautiful woman who was lying weakly with several medical devices attached to her body. Of course this situation managed to make the man's feelings more broken. The wife he loved so much had to endure because of the illness he had suffered.
"Nurma, I hope you'll get well soon. Our son at home is waiting for you. Please, fight this disease for me and for Elza, too" the man murmured as he clasped his wife's cold hand.
Not long after, the eyelids of the beautiful woman opened. She smiled faintly as she saw the man she loved was always by her side, "why is Mas still here? He said he wanted to go home?" nurma asked in a soft voice.
"I still want to be here with you. My feeling is suddenly bad if I go home." said the handsome man without letting go of his hand.
"I should just go home. Poor Elza at home. He needs Mas" Nurma said in a trembling voice.
"There's a mother in our house. Don't worry about Elza." The man smiled wryly after saying that, "you must get well quickly so that we can play again with Elza."
"Mas," murmured Nurma with a sad look.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm sorry Mas because I haven't been able to be a good wife and mother to Mas and Elza. You need to be more patient when dealing with your child's attitude. If I can't accompany Mas and Elza anymore, I hope Mas can be a good father and mother to Elza. Don't let out of patience if our child will be naughty and provoke your emotions."
Bruaks!
The sound of a loud blow squealed in the ear. It managed to make the shadows of memories in the past must disappear just like that. The long-missed beautiful face disappeared from the mind and all that remained was the last message delivered by the woman named Nurmala.
"Nurma, I miss you" muttered softly from a man who was silent in the living room.
The Benny Chandra Suherman. A thirty-two-year-old widower who has held the status of a one-child widower for two years. His wife died of terminal breast cancer. Their recent marriage has given birth to a boy named Elzayin Rayyan Suherman. The boy is now three years old.
"Sorry, Sir. That's .. Elza's bedroom door is broken, sir." Reports from Elza's nanny managed to get Benny to massage his head.
"Yes God. Let alone this," Benny murmured in a soft voice.
Benny seemed to lose patience when faced with the behavior of his first son. He himself was confused how else to respond to the active behavior of his son, "yes let it go. There will be a handyman who will fix it" Benny said without looking at his son's nanny.
"Sorry, Sir. Can I go home soon, sir? I really couldn't face Elza. Today I was beaten and made an enemy object again, sir."
For the umpteenth time Benny heard complaints like this from some caregivers who had treated Elza. They only lasted a few months when facing the boy. For some reason, the son of Benny and Nurmala is very fond of violence and will be released to the people around him. Benny himself has often felt it and needs to be admitted if Elza's hand blows hurt like an adult punch.
"You can't get out of this house before I get your replacement" Benny said, staring at his son's nanny. Not without reason Benny forbade his son's nanny to leave, because there was no one to help him if he had not got a replacement babysitter.
A heavy sigh accompanied Benny's steps towards his son's room on the second floor. More precisely next to his private room. One by one the stairs have been passed until they reach the front of the room with the state of the door that is detached from the hinges. Benny could only shake his head slowly at the situation. He wondered what his son had done until the door of the room was removed from its hinges. Benny opens and rests the door on the wall so as not to endanger Elza's safety.
"Elzah. Why did the door come off like this?" benny asked after entering his son's room. Of course he had to hold back the already rumbling anger inside his chest.
While Elza just glanced at the presence of Benny there and after that refocus on the phone screen that is above his lap. Of course this attitude managed to make Benny more inflamed.
"Elza! If asked, it must be answered!" Perhaps because of his annoyance, the handsome widower lost control and his voice grew higher.
"So El was just playing, Papa," the three-year-old replied as he showed the video he saw on his phone.
"Geez!" benny muttered after seeing the video on the phone.
Elza can not be separated from the phone that Benny bought deliberately to overcome the delinquency of his son. As a single parent, of course Benny chose a shortcut that can make his son fun without having to interfere with his activities. As a result Elza was addicted to playing mobile phones to affect his growth in speech. The three-year-old rarely spoke. He tends to do physical activity when asking for something he wants. If her nanny did not understand what she was asking for, then a punch floated up.
"Nurma. What did you have to crav in the first place?" That's what Benny said every time he faced his son's attitude. Though he should look in the mirror and see the mistake in educating his son.
Benny decides to leave Elza's room for fear of getting emotional when faced with the boy's indifference. He went down to the first floor and looked for his house assistant named Dewi to ask about the new nanny for his son.
"Wi, what about the new nanny? Did you get it?" ask Benny after reaching the kitchen to meet the Goddess who is preparing dinner.
"I just got word from mak Asih if his brother's neighbor from Mojokerto is willing to work here. He said he was very young, sir," said Dewi while facing Benny. The household assistant who came from Magetan was also a widow and still quite young because he was still twenty-eight years old.
"alright. If you can tell him to come as soon as possible," said Benny before passing from the kitchen.
The handsome widower steps away from the kitchen and meets Elza's nanny who is still in the living room. There was pity when Benny saw the thirty-five-year-old woman crying there. Perhaps the nanny was lamenting fate and felt some parts of her body that were sick from Elza's actions.
"Please be patient first. I've got a new nanny for Elza. You can stop here after the new nanny comes," Benny said, staring intensely at his son's nanny.
