Kalula wears his apron in front of the mirror of the employee dressing room. He looked at himself and tried to smile.
"Spirit, Kal. Remember the word papa first. You have to be a cool, independent girl. Stop hanging happiness on Edo. Forget about Mama and Karina. They just want your money."
Kalula said that in his heart, as if it was a mantra. Then he smiled excitedly again and walked cheerfully. He's ready to work today.
As usual, everything looks good. Edward often stole a glance at him and they chatted a little on the sidelines of busyness several times.
Kalula must admit, Edward looks cool in his barista uniform. His burly hand muscles, his cool haircut, and his sweet smile, as well as his brown eyes. He looks perfect.
Kalula does not know that Roby who is a close friend of Edo came to his workplace. He even sat at a table in the corner wearing a hat.
Edo sent him here. He wants Roby to spy on Kalula and report to him.
Actually, Roby doesn't have to be afraid of disguising himself or anything. Kalula had never met him in person. It's just that he knows about Roby because Edo often mentions his friend's name when they chat.
"Sir Ma'am, I want it? That's the cashier guy? The next shift or the girl yesterday isn't it?" ask Roby towards one of the waiters whose name tag is listed by Lisa's name.
"Oh, that's the cashier guy. Always boys. Never Mr. Dika nugasin cashier girl, because there used to come robbing and threatening with weapons at the cashier table. That's why now the cashier's all boys, Mas. But what's up, huh?" ask Lisa in confusion.
Roby just grinned. He then opened his phone and opened his chat with Edo. He forgot Edo had asked him what else.
"Oh again dong, Ma'am. Mmm, is there a name Andin Sama Dance does not work here?" ask Roby.
The waiter who was senior Kalula here looked at Roby more and more confused. He nodded with a suspicious face.
"Nothing, Mom. There is no such thing as Andin Sama Tari here. Sorry what's up, huh? How did you keep wondering about the employees here? Do I need to call my manager?" ask Lisa.
Roby nodded quickly. He then drank his order coffee in a hurry and then stood up, ready to go aka run away.
The increasingly suspicious waiter immediately gave the code to Dika. And when the man came up to him, Robby was gone.
"Why, Lis?" ask Roby to Lisa.
"No papa, sir. That was a guest nanyain mulu about employees here. Ask about the cashier why not a girl. It's just that there's a thing called Andin Sama Dance here. It's just so weird" Lisa told Dika.
Dika immediately furrowed his brows. "Yes, that's it. Next time you call me and don't answer. Okay?"
Lisa nodded and left.
While in an open park near the cafe, Roby opens his hat and sends a quick message to Edo in Tokyo.
[ "The cashier's a guy, Do. I was the same one who worked there too, he said the cashier was always a guy. Keep on the matter of Andin the same Dance, he said there is no such thing as Andin the same Dance there.
What the hell is going on, Do? You clearly have what's going on. What did Kalula tell you. I see him all right. Looks like it's fun to work there." ]
Roby then left. He knew Edo must not immediately return the message because he must be busy in college. Roby walks down the highway to catch a train. He has a lecture schedule in a few hours.
Inevitably, he had to spend his time here because of Edo's request.
Unknowingly, on the road Roby cross paths with an old woman. Not too old actually. His line of rage and fierce face look that made him look older than his age.
Sastri walked with his chin straight and his hands clenched. Karina, her favorite daughter, complained to her last night. And today he desperately had to find Kalula at his workplace. He doesn't care about his actions. Anyway he was reckless.

Byars! Prangs! Pyars!
Sastri slammed whatever was on the table while going berserk. The other employees, guests, and Dika the manager seemed busy calming down as well as securing themselves.
Sastri's problem is brutal. He throws whatever is in his way and goes on a rampage.
"I said I'm looking for Kalula!" Sastri shouted furiously after being content to go berserk and break things.
Everyone is silent. Dika immediately pulled Sastri's hand and took him into his room.
All away. Kalula who had just come from behind after taking out the trash seemed confused by what was happening. Just as he was about to ask what commotion was going on, suddenly the commotion stopped and he saw Dika pull his mother's hand towards him.
"Kal, Mama you're making a fuss here." Dika looked at Kalula with a sweaty and panicked face. Obviously, as a cafe manager, of course, he is responsible for all this chaos.
Kalula can only be agape. The condition of the cafe is a mess. The benches were turned upside down, the glass broke, the flower pots collapsed, and the guests stepped aside in fear.
He looked at his stepmom's eyes with nanar. No more frightened looks there. Sastri Pin seems to be more challenging.
"Durrect son! The child does not know himself! The kid..."
And Edward who had come out of nowhere suddenly silenced Sastri's mouth. He didn't care if the woman was older than him. All he cared about was that he did not want Kalula to hear her obscenities and swearing, let alone in front of everyone like this.
Kalula knew everyone was now staring at them. His eyes were hot and tears of shame, sadness, and anger were mixed into one. Hands clenched.
Edward then pulled her in after he gave Dika the code to drag Sastri into a closed room.
Sastri sat with a red face. Dika stood beside him. He seemed to be holding his head in dizziness at the thought of all this chaos.
"Wait here!" edward said, then he pulled Dika's hand out of the room.
Kalula had not paid much attention to what the two of them were doing. So his attention was already full towards his stepmom whom he hated.
"Close the cafe, have everything sorted out, and the ones that come at this hour free it all. Say sorry for the mess and persuade them not to exaggerate the problem.
If you need to promise a special promo for the next arrival. Make sure no one uploads this fuss to social media or anything. Wanna?" said Edward who immediately conducted a control management briefing on Dika who panicked.
Dika nodded in understanding and Edward went back into the room. Don't forget he closed the door.
Kalula was still staring intently at Sastri. Sastri is the same. The difference is that he sits and Kalula stands.
Sastri looked at Edward who had closed his mouth. Be more upset he is. And now he was more upset when Kalula who he thought would be afraid of him even saw him with a brave look.
He thought with this bluff Kalula would apologize and then promise to go home, or at least give him money. But the Kalula gelagat reflects otherwise.
Sastri knows it can't be like this. He felt he had to bully Kalula even more. He immediately stood up and was about to grab Kalula as usual, but it turned out that Kalula's own hand held him.
The cruel stepmother and the hurt daughter looked at each other fiercely.
Edward was among them. He's silent. He waits. He knew Kalula was stirring up his emotions. It's time the poor, timid girl had to brave the fight...
