54. Heaven's Promises

Arriving at the nursery, the nurse appears to be helping Shanty get into bed. Kalula who had brought the bag and his belongings put it neatly on the spot. Amelia Santono just stood up and observed Kalula's movements from the tip of her eye.

Just now the nurse came out of the room and Amelia was about to open her mouth to ask about Kalula, but it turned out that the girl was already clutching her phone which lit up in panic. He was leaving.

"Mbak Santi for a moment, I picked up the phone first from my manager. She must be confused because I didn't go to work without telling." Kalula's face was as pale as paper.

Kalula immediately rushed out of the room and closed the door, leaving Shanty and Lady Amelia Santono alone.

"Yes about Kalula. The boy works at one of my cafe branches which I now assign his responsibilities to Edward. Shan, remember when my head hurt and got angry all day at the office because of Edward's behavior?" Amelia Santono somewhat whispered as she said that.

Shanty nodded. Yes, about his employer's relationship with the princess Shanty already understood very well. They don't get along sometimes. Edward has known Shanty for 5 years. Shanty was about to speak again but he broke his intention when a nurse walked into his hospital room followed by a doctor.

"Ah, looks like I should get out of Shan while the doctor checks on you. Let me find Kalula and tell the boy myself. Make sure you don't say anything about me. Don't let him know I'm Edward's mother. Not yet time."

Shanty could only stare at the back of his boss who walked away.

With a step full of confidence in her high heels, Amelia Santono passed through the corridor and looked at Kalula who seemed to be on the phone while sitting on a park bench.

"It's time to control everything through my hands. Let me make my dissident son lose in a landslide! I made him a fool and didn't dare to mess around."

Amelia Santono won. His steps drew closer until he finally sat down without hesitation next to Kalula.

Kalula was surprised also suddenly Amelia Santono who he knew was Shanty's former boss approached him. His face was gloomy so a smile with forced when his eyes met the eyes of Amelia Santono.

Amelia looked at him with pity as well. I guess this is Edward's game.
