A message from Seira was read by Edward under the dinner table. He did not reply, but Edward kept his cell phone and continued eating.
Edward's head turned. The problem was at the same time his mother sent him a message and went back to whining and asked him to come home.
[[[Edward, go home Mama! Our deal yesterday was okay. But Mama needs proof. You go home first, sign the agreement you made. It's about your promise to nerusin the company the same promise you want to be betrothed if you fail to marry Kalula within 3 months." ]]
Kalula sat in front of him with a suspicious look. They were having dinner together because it was a little overtime at work so it was a little late to go home.
"Who, Ed? Your friend again? Take off?" Kalula guess.
"Eh, i-yeah. I'll go again. You're not alone, are you?" Edward put his spoon and fork.
Kalula nodded. "Udah go. Let me finish your plate."
Edward nodded and stood up from his seat. He told Kalula who had not finished eating that if he wanted to change clothes to the room.
Kalula could only glance at Edward's room while guessing. He knew Edward was lying.
Shortly after, Edward came out of his room again. He just changed his jeans. His boss's shirt is still the same.
"I'll go first, Kal." Edward seemed forced to leave the apartment.
Kalula nodded. The spoon is still in his hand. His eyes stared at Edward's pocket of pants that looked a little strange. There was a shiny object that did not seem to fit perfectly in his pocket.
Oho! That's the car keys!
Kalula silently observed from the corner of his eyes.
"You got your cousin's car?" Kalula asked. Really now he is not sure anymore about the 'cousin' that Edward always mentioned as his alibi.
"Ng-no, really. I'm picked. Yeah, picked up my friend. Okay, Kal. I'm going ya." Edward walked to the main door.
Kalula agrees with Antara so that Edward does not suspect. But his heart was sure: Edward was lying.
While staring at the food he had finished eating, Kalula stood up to clean and wash the dishes. While doing all those things, Kalula was unceasingly daydreaming.
"Edward is actually super rich. Why he wants to be a barista in his own cafe. Because prank? Or because of what? He had a car he said was his cousin's. Why would you walk with me every day?" Kalula then returned to her room after she finished.
He looked at his briefcase with no interest. His phone looks out. Kalula glanced at him. His hands were not separated from the cell phone.
In addition to waiting for Edo news, Kalula also seemed sticky with the flat object to check the posts of Edo friends in Japan, especially Erina. At least if Edo did not have time to tell, Kalula could see his girlfriend from social media posts of his friends.
But from yesterday Kalula tried as little as possible to interact with her own phone. He does it because he does not want stress and a lot of thoughts.
The problem is that his mother's number and Karina's number that he has blocked is not enough to make his heart calm. His mother had from nowhere contacted him with a new number and cursed him with a message.
Kalula stress again and then decided to block her new number again.
Until finally now when his mind was full of the name Edward, his memory immediately returned to the incident last afternoon.
Yes, when he followed Edward into Dika's room to sleep during work hours, Edo contacted him. The man who could still be said to be his girlfriend sent him a message and Kalula had not had time to check.
Kalula looked at the clock and calculated the time difference. Maybe now in Tokyo it's been 11 more nights. He immediately grabbed his phone whose battery was running out and opened a message from Edo.
The deg!
A few minutes Kalula tried to examine all the contents of the message. Knees limp.
Edo knew he was lying about the place where he lived hitchhiking and the names of his female friends that were not actually in the real world. The name was just spontaneously called to lie to Edo yesterday.
Die down!
Kalula patted his own eel. Yes, he knows the carcass will still smell as smart as anything stored. Even the bad smell can get to Tokyo there.
Kalula's hands trembled a little as well. He knew the more days his relationship with Edo was becoming more and more unpredictable. But once he reached this point, between breaking up or continuing, he was still nervous.
Edo was no ordinary person in his life. He is special and has his own place. Removing it for any reason is still painful.
Kalula's hand started typing out a reply message. Tight chest. Didn't expect the relationship that initially was fine to fall so quickly.
[[[Yes, I lied about staying in Edward's apartment.]]
Kalula then put the phone on the soft mattress that he was sitting on. Unable to continue typing messages.
From the experience of yesterday-yesterday fights, attacks and debates through short messages even make things worse.
"I just call Edo? She's not asleep yet?" Kalula muttered while staring at the wall clock.
He doubted... . He was missed, disappointed, sick. All of those flavors exist. Mixed into one.

While in front of the gate of the dormitory, Edo stared doubtfully. His college backpack is still on his shoulder.
The sound of his friends was a little noisy. They must have been screaming inside.
His mind is so fucked. Edo just remembered, this afternoon he would argue with Erina who was upset with him about his closeness with Seira. Erina threatens to complain Edo to Kalula.
Edo was angry and left. When he passed Aldo and Beni he got carried away and looked annoyed at them.
Edo looked at the gate he was staying at and opened it with some sadness.
Tokyo was not his dream from the beginning. But this is Kalula's dream. He saw sakura in the blooming courtyard behind the dim night. Beautiful but foreign. Edo sat on the stairs. Not so he opened the gate.
Edo knew his poor emotional control was exacerbating his friendship here which he was supposed to keep. He remembered the promises he made with Erina, Ajeng, Beni, and Aldo. Yeah, well, friends don't leave each other. Depart together, graduate together, return to Jakarta together.
Then what now? Not even a month has he screwed his own friends who are so compact and attention to it.
Edo breathed a long breath. He stood up and decided to enter.
It was good that they were still gathered in the living room. So Edo thought he could approach them all apologizing and correct his bad attitude.
But it turns out that his hopes were wrong.
As soon as he opened the door, the laughter of his friends suddenly disappeared. They looked at him awkwardly. Edo who was still standing in front of the door could only peck on the spot.
"H-hi." Edo tried to greet and melt the awkwardness.
Everyone, especially Beni looked at him like an enemy.
