15. Go home

Seti and Asri arrived at the house of the Sokaraja building at half-eight in the morning. I met Mr and Mrs Asri briefly before the two went to the hospital. 

Seti hitchhiking washing his face in the bathroom. Moved face with a towel that Asri gave, then sat waiting in the living room. A glass of coffee at the table is refreshing after it is gulped.  Leaning back on the chair relaxes his stiff muscles. 

"Breakfast first Set." Asri came out.

"Let's go home. Where's Mas Joko ?"

"Margono. It'll be noon for me to see him."

"Yes. Rest first. I'll pick you up."

The three-hour journey from Jogja to Sokaraja still feels tiring. Talking briefly offended Joko's illness.  Seti said goodbye to Joglo's house.

The mother who was about to leave for work was surprised to see Seti who came suddenly. Not like the end of the month.

"Your college holidays le ?" Mother stroked Seti's head, who kissed her hand in the courtyard.

"No ma'am. Take Asri for a moment to look at his mas. It will be back in the afternoon."

"Where is Asri ?" Mother asked Asri who Seti had introduced.

"In his house. Later today to the hospital."

"Oh. Mom wants to leave. Later in the day wait for Mother and Father to return first." Mom leaves joglo house to factory. Rush after the Father who as usual early in the morning has left first. 

Go into his room. Lay yourself on the couch. Seti looked at the painting Mercu Suar reminiscent of Silence, Bening and Jengki's house.

The letter in silence is fine. Only Seti still hid his relationship with Asri. Want to say that relationship if you meet directly with Silence. There is a sense of regret if you let the ignorance of Silence linger.

Joe who had met Silence in Jakarta told about the exhibition that followed Silence with his yellow wiring rooster painting. Then leave a message if the semester break later, Silence will meet Seti in Jogja.

Seti's sleepiness was finally unstoppable. Falling asleep comforts the mind.

Twelve o'clock Father and Mother go home joglo. Greeting Seti who was washing the Denok.

"Where's your boyfriend Set ?" As usual, I teased Seti.

"Ah Father. The question is, even the children of people." Mom laughs.

"She said to go home with Asri." Dad still laughed. His hand received Seti's kiss.

"Eat Set first when you finish washing the motor." Mother diverts the temptation of Father. They both went to the Joglo house.

Seti who still continues to wash the Denok. Little laughs in response to the temptation of the Father. Remember when I first invited Asri to the Joglo house first.  When Mother who already knew the story Seti stared at the reddish face a little embarrassed when Seti introduced Asri.

Then the Father who was beside Mom smiled familiarly towards Asri. As if justifying the choice of Seti's heart.

Asri's face was getting red when you started teasing him if you want to date Seti.

Fortunately Mother occasionally reduced Asri's shyness and awkwardness with her gentle words. Tells about young people now who are dating but ngawur. Justifying Seti and Asri who do not cover up his relationship rather than hiding behind.

Of course the message not to forget the lecture is affirmed by Mother with her mother tongue. Assuming Seti and Asri are adults to sort it out.

Satisfied cleaning the Denok. Seti folding water hose. Inching after Father and Mother. His hunger was felt. Can't wait to enjoy Mother's cooking before taking Asri to the Hospital.

Bening embraces Asri after coming out of the ICU room.  Approaching Seti who was watching the two. Joko can't be seen yet.

Sitting next to each other in front of the ICU room, Asri told Joko that he suddenly vomited blood after returning from the workshop.

"Mbak doesn't know why. Still waiting for lab results," said Bening answer because Joko salit. His eyes looked tired and full of tears.

"Prophe mbak. We wait. Did you eat ?" Asri comforts Bening.

"Later on," said Bening short.

"I'm ahead for a minute." Seti stood up leaving Asri and Bening. Suddenly he wanted to smoke while giving space to talk to Bening and Asri as brother and sister. Feeling that there was nothing he could do anymore after accompanying Asri and Bening.

Buy cigarettes at the front of the hospital and order coffee. Seti thought about what he would do to Bening. Should he tell Seto ? This time, the tobacco smoke felt different. 

Seto once mentioned Bening in his letter. Congratulate and ask Bening and Joko's place of residence after marriage to Seti. 

Seto does not want to dissolve in his past. Seti answered short, Bening and Joko occupied Jengki's house.

Gurgling slowly the hot coffee he held, Seti was still thinking about the need not to tell Seto. However, Joko and Bening once accompanied Seto's heart with their respective privileges.

Asri decided to stay first in Purwokerto to accompany Bening. Seti asserted Asri's decision after finishing smoking and sat with him in front of the ICU. 

"Just be home tomorrow too. Take the train from Jakarta" Asri said.

"Yes. greetings. I'll be back in the afternoon. Can not accompany you," there is a sense that I don't know in Seti's heart, knowing Silence will go home. It looks like Joko's sick is serious.

"This one and two days I wait for the condition of Joko mas. If it gets better I go back to Jogja by train. Call home at Jogja." Seti. Standing peeking into the ICU room made sure Bening was fine who was waiting for Joko from the insulating glass.

Hugged Asri tightly after half an hour of accompanying her. Seti bailed home. Hope everything's okay.

The trip back to Jogja this time, Seti a little spur Denok. Remember the practical tasks tomorrow that have not been done.

From the Joglo house, Seti immediately say goodbye will go directly to Jogja after dropping off Asri. I couldn't stop by Grandma's house. 

Fortunately the weather was clear. Take a short break at Purworejo and fill up the Denok gas.  Spark it back into Wates. Can't wait to get to Jogja.

Dibyo who was cleaning her room turned towards Seti who had just reached Samirono's boarding house before evening.

Seti returned Dibyo's greeting, then rushed towards his room. The tracing paper roll is inserted into the paralon. Ease and keep undamaged when carried.

Feeling relieved after checking the pencil, eraser and rapido are in his bag. Seti went to Dibyo's room.

"Sumple Set." Dibyo received a fried gothuk besek uluran brought by Seti.

"Titip for Muji equals Mbah Jum. Tell me from my mother," Seti gave two more besek to Dibyo.

"Say Mbah Jum you just came from Purwokerto Set ?"

"Yes. Ngantar Asri's."

"Where else are you going ? Looks nervous."

"To the campus friend. I have a job to do." Seti attached the bag and the paralon to the Denok's wing.

Leaving Samirono boarding house towards the campus. Tasks and jobs on campus that piled up began to busy Seti.  Ignoring for a moment about Joko, Bening, Seto, Asri and Silence.
