Talking all night makes Seti fall asleep. At four o'clock in the morning Dibyo's screams from outside the room woke him up.
"Breakfast Set made a wedge of stomach."
A plate of red sugar-clad fried gaplek was already on the table when Seti left the room. Takes slightly. The hot, savory and sweet mixture tastes just right in the cold morning when chewing it. . "Let's take this to Jogja, Dib" Seti said. "In my place there are sweets like this. But it's too hard."
"Should be steamed first, freshly fried. To keep it soft when it's cold. We'll bring it. There are still many stocks inside "Dibyo sliding a glass of warm keroncong tea towards Seti. "Seat the tea first and then we leave. Don't miss the sunrise there."
Feeling full and fresh, Seti stood up following Dibyo's invitation. Take the Denok out of the house. Just turn on his breath for a second.
...----------------...
Regretfully not carrying a jacket and just short-sighted, the cold mist that slapped Seti's face and body made him shiver a little along the way from Banjarejo's house to Drini island.
The island near Banjarejo which according to the mystical story Dibyo last night, named Drini because of a type of tree that grows there. The man named the tree Drini. Trees that he said can drive out the rain, witchcraft, and witchcraft.
Similar to Dewandaru wood in Karimunjawa which myth will sink the ship that brought it from the island of Karimunjawa. Drini trees can also bring bad luck if they take it out of the island.
Unfortunately, this myth is useless in modern times. Drini trees on the island are just a few. The price is quite expensive makes many people hunt it.
At five o'clock, Denok arrived at the beach with a stretch of white sand at the South end of Banjarejo.
From there, the island told by Dibyo is seen jutting into the sea. The island is like a Dibyo story as if it divides the South Sea into two parts of the beach. The Eastern part looks calm and the Western part is surging as if justifying the mystical aura of the island.
Not wanting to linger cold, Dibyo invited Seti to run down to the beach. Putting your body in the warm white sand.
Slowly from the East the sky began to turn red. Fascinated by the sight he had just seen, Seti opened his eyes that had been closed to enjoy the warmth of the sand.
The sun started to rise slowly. The silhouette of Drini island is seen moving from where Seti is lying.
Two fishing boats leaning after the sea are clearly visible after the sun really rises. The smoke from the rest of the night was still visible next to the boat.
Dibyo stood up, walked over to the boat. Seti who began to feel the warmth of the sun just fell silent to pay attention. Still lounging with the warmth of the hot sun that stroked his body.
Before long Dibyo was seen showing off the two large stingrays he had guarded from the boat to Seti with a smile.
...----------------...
"The Boats of the Gombong Set. Near your place" Dibyo put the fish on the Denok's wing.
"Buy it or dib ?" Ask Seti in wonder.
"Dicated. If there is a fishing boat riding here must give fish, if people here ask." Answer Dibyo. "Yok we take a shower. The water's warm on the East side." Take Dibyo later.
Seti stood up, running after Dibyo who had cast himself. Right said Dibyo. The sea on the beach is warm.
The rising sun increasingly shows the clarity of sea water as Seti swims closer to the island of Drini. Coral reefs began to emerge as the water receded. A natural lagoon begins to form on the eastern side of the island of Drini.
Seti pulled Dibyo who was a bit tired when he went up to the island. A little fuss and gnos finally he managed to go up as well.
From the top of the cliff of the island then the brilliance of the sea water around it is clearly visible on the East side is calm. The beach is deserted. There are only Seti, Dibyo and two boats that seem to be leaving the beach that is starting to recede.
Dibyo pointed at a broken Drini tree not far from where Seti was sitting sunbathing. "The island was once filled with Drini Set trees. Now only the broken are left."
At eight o'clock in the afternoon, feeling satisfied enjoying a bath in the sea and warm sunbathing. Dibyo takes Seti westward to his Father's farm.
...----------------...
Mother Dibyo who since last night has been in the field making spices from onions, lemongrass, garlic taken from the field. Looks happy to receive two large stingrays that have been cleaned and cleaved by Seti and Dibyo. Partly sliced thinly. Hanging on the smoke of coconut coir burned in the fireplace.
"We burn the Set. Some made smoked fish to last." Dibyo .... His mouth was busy blowing fire from the machete directed into the furnace in the middle of the field.
Waiting for Dibyo to finish burning the fish. Seti out of the gubug. Go around watching the watermelon fruit lying on the sidelines of limestone and coral.
The landscape around the field is terraced, requiring anyone who is farmed to arrange water and guard the soil against the arrangement of coral and limestone. The embankment prevents rainwater from washing fertile soil into its wetlands that turn into wells during the rains.
After half an hour of touring the fields, Dibyo was seen coming out of the hut. "Eat Set !" he called out to Seti.
Get in the gubug. Large pieces of grilled fish were laid on the slap. Sledri slices and fragrant green chili onions make anyone hungry.
"Breakfast if you wear tiwul nak Seti. Rice's expensive." There is a sense of condolence from Dibyo's mother when offering Seti breakfast.
"Ah Mother, it's delicious. I even asked to be brought a gaplek made at the boarding house," replied Seti.
"Let's let Dibyo take it. At home there are still many" said Mother Dibyo, "This is all if Seti nak not here, not necessarily Dibyo can fish the sea."
Eating together in the middle of the field during the morning warmth, pleasing everything in the tubug.
...----------------...
At three o'clock in the afternoon Seti and Dibyo prepare to return to Jogja. Bathing in the sea and rinsing in the lake near the farm is very effective in Seti's heart. Moreover, Father and Mother Dibyo look very happy to receive the arrival of Seti.
Promising to come again, Seti left Banjarejo ushered in the smile of Mr. Dibyo. Dibyo's mother stayed in the fields. Not taking the drop.
One big besek of the gaplek, and three pieces of smoked fish packs on my seat Dibyo who hollered. Two large watermelons were hanging on the front wing of the Denok.
...----------------...
Five o'clock in the afternoon, Denok finally reached the boarding house Samirono. Muji who was typing looked up for a while. He seems to be busy with his work.
Don't bother Muji. Seti opened his room. Change clothes, boil water in the kitchen to fill a thermos and then take a shower.
Dibyo went into his room to put the besek and fish packets and then walked to take one watermelon to the Mbah Jum stall.
...----------------...
"Ngopi .. copy ..." Dibyo called Seti who was writing a letter to Silence.
"Bikin himself Dib. I did that. Muji make it all," replied Seti who was telling Banjarejo and Drini island to Silence by letter.
The night after the Dibyo place, Samirono boarding house began to return to the busy three rooms. Muji with his typewriter, Dibyo with careful calculations next week, and Seti with letter Jakarta Jogja.
Only, this time dinner at the Samirono boarding house is different. There is a bacon that is too delicious to forget.
Ngopi accompanied the fried gaplek into a tiring but exciting weekend for Seti, Dibyo and Muji.
