"There are three empty rooms next to the house, if indeed Seti wants to stay in this room just choose that room. His name is in the village just like that. There's no electricity either." Karto said after Seti explained again the purpose of his arrival.

"No papa mbah. The important thing is there's a place to rest and sleep near the office, I'm happy,"

"So, what room would you like to stay in ? Later mbah clean up," Mbah Karto then stood up to tell Seti choose his room.

"Whichever way you go," Seti followed Mbah Karto towards the row of rooms in question.

Mbah Karto house like most village houses in coastal Kulon Progo is higher than the yard. The wulung bamboo grove restricts the home page with a lush looking chili plant manicured with its green shoots around the Mbah Karto house.

Seti chose the last room after Mbah Karto opened one door of the room with a leafy board of Javanese wood. Fresh air burst into the room from a wooden window that opened wide Mbah Karto.

"Like this room son .... Mbah only two. So these rooms are rarely used, unless the children get together just like Lebaran," said Mbah Karto."This is a long time ago, the mattress was just bought with the first child of Mbah lebaran yesterday." Continue Mbah Karto while cleaning the mattress on the teak cot with a broomstick.

"Yes mba .... Matur Nuwun is pleased to accept that I live here." Seti then helped Mbah Karto clean the entire room.

Karto had insisted on not accepting the cost payment from Seti. Someone just wants to accompany him, Mbah Karto is very happy.

Wandi Karto's great-grandson, like most young people, spent more time outside with his peers after coming home from the fields.

It was only after Seti explained that the money he gave was money from the office, but Karto wanted to accept it.

After feeling tidy and clean, Mbah Karto left the room to make coffee. Let Seti stare at the expanse of chili trees that are clearly visible from his bedroom window to the coastline near his workplace.

Glancing at his watch, Seti left the room and followed Karto to the living room. There is still a little time to talk to Mbah Karto before the break is over.

...----------------...

Promising after the new year will occupy his room, Seti said goodbye to Mbah Karto after feeling there was nothing more to say.

Mbah Karto took off Seti from his front yard. Although he had only known Seti for a while, from the look of his eyes was seen a longer desire to invite Seti to accompany him to chat.

Understand Seti must work, there is no reason to hold Seti longer.

Just like Mbah Karto. Seti's first impression at Mbah Karto's house was very pleasant. At least until he said goodbye, the conversation felt there was no age restriction. Moreover, the fried ketela is still left when accompanying the conversation brought Mbah Karto to Seti's coworkers.

The Denok carefully runs down the village road avoiding puddles towards the Daendels road. Take Seti back to work.

This time the problem of living while working in Panjatan is not a problem for Seti.

Although only using lights from batteries and coconut oil lanterns for lighting at night as said Mbah Karto, the atmosphere of the house and the warmth that the owner of the house felt Seti was enough for a place to rest.

During this time Seti was still sleeping in mess Sermo reservoir while completing several dependents of work reports before moving to his new workplace in Panjatan.

Return from the Sermo reservoir to Panjatan which is only half an hour if driving the Denok so new rutintas Seti before his work in the Sermo reservoir is completed.

Karto house boarding money that he has paid a year in advance at least makes Seti not disturbed and prepare to accompany Asri and Silence in Jogja later.

...----------------...

After work, Seti will stop by Muji's place in Wates. In addition to talking on the phone, Seti had not met him in person for a long time.

The busyness of each job requires that both of them have not been able to leave their jobs even though the actual distance between Jogja and Kulon Progo is not too far away.

Muji, who called Seti if he was going home to Wates three days ago, made Seti impatient to finish the day's work.

Good thing, his coworkers in Panjatan were really selected. Not much time is wasted on trivial things. Each has understood the obligations of his work without having to wait for each other.

Difficulty taking samples of iron sand with a manual drill only when moving places. Walking on sandbanks is very draining with equipment and equipment that is fortified. Especially if it rains, .. feet will feel very heavy and exhausting anyone who has just done it.

If only there were no chili fields along the beach where sampling iron sand would be easier to transport the sample cores taken.

Slamet who is also responsible for Panjatan exploration mensiasiatan by involving several nearby village youths to transport it with a modified three-wheeled motor that remains accurate when analyzed in the laboratory.

The long history of land ownership along the southern coastal coast of Kulon Progo had made some land belonging to the duchy of Pakualaman abandoned. The cost to take care of it was not worth the results it obtained.

Until then some locals cultivate the land by elevating some of the land to dry and planted with shallots, and low land planted with rice.

Such land processing is referred to by the term surjan as local wisdom which was first done by Ki Karto Atemo and Ki Reso Inangun two local residents around 1935.

Karto's Mbah story about the origin of the originally barren coastal land of Kulon Progo became fertile and produced onions and chili peppers passed through Seti's head when recording sample data to be transported from the last hole the sampling point of the day's work before moving to the location of the next point.

"Say you want to go to Muji Set's place ?" Slamet asked that Seti had unwittingly been by his side.

"Eh mas Slamet .... Yes mas, later if today's sampling is on target," replied Seti a little surprised to realize the presence of Slamet who was already beside him.

"Greetings to Muji. I can't join you guys yet. Boss asks before the end of the year off all the work here is on target," Slamet continued his words while keeping an eye on the job.

"Yes, I'll tell you later" Seti responded. "I'll see Muji again." Further again.

"Ok Sets .... I'm going to the office first. If we have time to continue the conversation there after today's work is finished," Slamet said goodbye to Seti, feeling no work is hampered and disturbed.

"Yes, I'll go to the office after everything's finished packing." Seti returned a smile at Slamet who left the sampling location.

Coastal Panjatan is still seen busy sampling iron sand work in the afternoon. Seti re-corrected his work records and re-matched them with core sample stickers that would be transported to the office for analysis in the lab.
