Part 23 - I Love You

The trauma of love still haunts the recesses of my heart.

Haura returned to her apartment, to be honest her heart still hurts, because of her former in-laws who always wanted to disturb her life. They've gotten rid of him, and now what? He just wants to live a quiet life, work, even he no longer wants to feel the bitterness of love. Because of the suffering that Theo had inflicted. He lay on the bed, facing a glass window that immediately presents a beautiful view of the city of Tadpole, this city is never empty—though even at midnight. Without realizing Haura's tears came out, she wondered to herself, what she did, so Theo and her mother still harassed her.

Haura's natural ordeal made her realize and look at matters differently, for the first time she felt and did not understand why there were some people who were so cruel and insensitive to other humans.

Haura wakes up feeling erratic, she wakes up on Monday, and she has to work, with a bad mood. Even when she washes her face in front of the sink, her eyes look puffy, probably because she cried all night without stopping.

"How can I go to work with eyes like this?" he murmured, watching his swollen net.

Does he have to have permission to take a holiday? But for what, anyway he was not in an urgent situation or sick.

Finally Haura decided to leave for work, the woman went down to walk to lift—Haura breathed a sigh of relief, this time she did not see Alden as usual, who seemed to always wait for her in front of the elevator, and passing that thing up and down brought people, only to wait for Haura to come. But not this time.

Until Haura got to the basement she had not met Alden at all, even the place the man used to park her car, was empty. Maybe Alden left early? Or was Alden offended by his words last night?

Haura's eyes were fixed on the new car Alden had given her, but it came to her mind, she did not want to use the car this time, and she chose to take public transportation to go to the office.

It only took less than half an hour Haura had reached the stop not far from the De Beauty building.

As Haura walked in, a car stopped right in front of Haura, then the glass of the car opened. He saw Theo was in there, and came out to Haura who was standing there. Haura who was still shocked seemed to be unable to say anything.

"Follow me!" he said his hand was dragging Haura, and he wanted to get her into his car. Haura muttered and did not want to go in there, she asked for help, but everyone seemed reluctant to respond to Haura's frustrated cry, and choose a safe distance and do not want to interfere with anything that befell Haura and Theo. Because he considers it possible that the two of them are a husband and wife who are fighting each other.

"Take me off!" yelled Haura trying to release the grip of Theo's hand that shackled her. "Please!" Haura turned her head to the right and to the left, but nihil all just looked on regardless of Haura being forced into the car.

Luckily a car stopped right in front of Theo's car, a man in a three-piece suit came out, and immediately lunged at Theo with a raw bogem, to make Theo stagger and fall on the asphalt.

"How dare you touch the woman I love!" hardik Alden's. Everyone who saw their boss beating a man, then they took part in catching Theo.

"You get out of here, and don't ever bother Haura again!" threatening Alden, his eyes flashed sharply as if skinning Theo. "If you dare to touch Haura again, then your life will end in the bars!"

Haura could only cry, and her whole body trembled in fear, she did not know why Theo dared to act like that, as if he was going to kidnap Haura.

"Stop crying, you're safe with me." Warm embrace again. Alden returns to be Haura's helper god, as if fate created Alden only for Haura. The woman was crying in her boss' arms. While everyone who initially thought that Alden only wanted to save his employees would be kidnapped, we all believe that there is a special relationship between Alden and Haura.

"Calm down! I'm always there for you" said the man again, gently stroking Haura's fine mane, thankfully she arrived on time, what if Alden was late, it's possible that Theo will go far to this woman.

Haura was still crying in Alden's arms, unexpectedly Alden dyed Haura's hair in front of the people passing by.

"I love you." The sound just slid from Alden's lips, making Haura's cries instantly stop.

"What?" Haura let go of Alden's embrace, and stared fixedly at him.

"I love you, long ago. Since we were in High School."

Haura rubbed her own tears, and realized that if all Alden had done so far was simply not because the man was good, but there was another purpose. Because this man loves Haura.

"Ma–maaf, Boss. I'm going inside." Haura leaves Alden, though with her legs still shaking in fear of the previous incident, but Alden's love statement makes Haura even more gasp and unable to say anything. The trauma of falling in love makes her completely distrustful of what love is.

With Haura's attitude of directly leaving Alden, it was an answer from Haura, if she rejected Alden's confession of love for him.
