Kala Boss Teases

Kala Boss Teases
Part 32 is Insensitive

Haura was surprised to see Angeline's sudden presence appear before her eyes, the woman looked at Haura with a probing gaze.

"You're here, Miss?"

"Yes, you can hear all your friendly conversations." Angeline leaned forward to provoke Haura. "Surely Alden will be very disappointed after if his fake fiance has cheated on another man" he said. "Or maybe you'll get angry?"

Tender-hearted? Where did that friendly phrase come out of Theo and Haura?

Haura did not care about the words of Alden's best friend, she thought she had done nothing wrong that would harm her relationship with Alden, because both were only contract lovers and nothing more. Haura just takes it for granted

what Angeline said would be nothing, not even a threat.

"Just please Miss, you can do anything at your will." After Haura commented, then Haura walked away from the woman, because if Haura followed what Angeline had said it would be very useless for her life, and it would be a waste of her time.

~•~

After finishing work, that afternoon he took the time to go up on the rooftop of the De beauty building just to watch the afternoon scenery, and enjoy the moment where the sun returned to the place of the contest, and the, while sipping the coffee that he brought from the coffee shop earlier.

Haura really wants to be alone, and does not want to be disturbed by anyone, because since yesterday her mind has been full of many things, especially Angeline who always wants to disturb her.

Haura's phone rang-from the screen with her boss's name readable by Haura. Honestly, Haura was too lazy to answer Alden's call, but there must have been something important until the man called her. After all, he had not seen his boss who usually paced in the marketing division, as he usually does, since Haura worked there.

"hello." Haura seemed to sigh in response to Alden's call.

"Where are you? I see your car is still parked in the basement, are you still in the building?" ask Alden from behind his phone.

"I was in the rooftop spending the coffee I bought earlier" the woman said, sipping her coffee again.

"I'll be there. I'll talk to you about something."

"I'm the only one who's seen you, after all here at the office, it's not nice if the employees see you with me."

"I don't care about people." The man hung up on her.

Haura scooped both shoulders, stared at her phone screen—then put it in her blazer pocket.

The woman looked back at the sky that had changed. The skyline of Tadpole in summer looks so beautiful. Haura really likes summer, where the air is hot, but Haura has not liked winter with the weather that pierced her bones.

Alden opened the rooftop door of the building, here it is very beautiful, because there is a small park that is often used to spend time during rest by employees who work in this building.

The man saw that Haura was facing the sky, Haura was breathing air and enjoying her solitude.

"Hi.." she said, standing next to Haura.

"What's wrong?"

"No. I just miss you" Alden replied, of course after declaring his love for the idol made Alden no longer cover up his feelings for Haura.

Haura's cheeks were instantly extinguished gaining such recognition, and grew redder as Alden began to draw closer to her. Impulsively Haura stepped back slowly, avoiding Alden.

"Have you met Miss Angeline?" Haura quickly switched the conversation to stop Alden.

"Yes, you know what?"

"Surely he's talking all sorts of things about my meeting with Theo."

"You met Theo?" Alden's eyes grabbed Haura's face, his loving gaze now turned sharp, even his voice slightly raised.

Alden shook his head, but his expression was completely unpleasant, hearing Haura's ex-husband meet this woman, but Haura did not tell him.

"Surely he forgot."

"Why did the man meet you, Haura?"

"She wanted me to talk to you, just to persuade you to want to retract your report to my former in-laws."

There was a streak of ironic smile on Alden's lips, as if it was created to respond to Haura's last sentence.

"Is that his purpose for meeting you?"

Haura nodded. "For what else?"

"Will he never beg for your love again?"

"I don't think so." Haura shook her head in doubt.

Haura walked towards a garden chair, her legs were really achy— stood for quite a long time using heels that were very torturous for her, he said, although the shoe with the right of five centimeters is a mandatory requirement as an employee in this cosmetic company.

"Why does Miss Angeline not like me, Al?" Actually Haura did not want to ask questions like this, but every staring at the way Angeline looked at herself was very disturbing Haura's mind.

"He likes me" the man replied briefly.

"You know, if she has feelings for you?"

"Yes, even if there is no confession from him, but I can feel if he loves me."

Haura was silent for a few seconds.

"Then why don't you just get married to him—you're from an equal family. Miss Angeline is also a smart woman and her achievements are arguably not playful."

"Do I have to confess my feelings to you again?" erang Alden doesn't like it.

"That's not it. I think you're a great fit, and surely your grandparents will approve of you being united."

Alden chuckles. "Like that, huh?" Alden stood up, turning his body facing towards Haura who was sitting. "Can a feeling be forced?"

Haura reluctantly commented further, choosing silence to stop Alden's anger which might have started to ignite due to his provocation.

"Alright Haura, what you want. I'll welcome Angeline's love!" Alden turned around and left just like that, carrying a sense of disappointment in his chest.

Haura who saw Alden leave after saying if she would accept Angeline's love, felt her chest tight. Until he can say nothing more. The woman continued to watch Alden's back begin to drift away, until it disappeared from behind the door.

Would that man really accept Angeline? And leaving Haura, a trace of insolence in Haura's heart appeared, as if she wanted to run into Alden's arms and say—don't do that!
