Part 61 - End of Life

Without a second thought, Haura ran over to see her former in-laws. Not that he felt he still loved the woman—but because of his guilt for Delarosa. She considers the pain experienced by Theo's mother, is Haura's intervention. What if Delarosa took his life. Surely it would be a lifetime sin for Haura.

The woman directly pressed the elevator to go to the first floor of— without permission first on her fiance, Haura actually left without Alden's knowledge.

Haura's entire mind was shrouded in guilt, until she drove without concentrating. He was awake and conscious when Haura saw a cat running across in front of him. Made the woman immediately step on the brake suddenly and make the car completely stop.

Haura gasped, and looking at the cat as well as looking as surprised as Haura. Making Haura take a breath and exhale slowly, to keep herself calm.

Haura cursed herself, why did she provoke Delarosa that day and said that her son was useless and barren.

Arriving at the hospital, Haura rushed inside. From far away he saw Theo sitting alone, not far from the man sitting there was Alila who was standing with a flat face.

"Theo!" Haura greeted her ex-husband. Seeing Haura coming, a faint smile rose on the man's face and immediately led him to stand up and approach the woman. Theo's hand stalling wanted to hug Dira— quickly the woman rebuked him very hard, to make Theo undo his intentions.

"How's your mama doing?" Haura looked worried. Alila who saw Haura came immediately shuffled. He was afraid of Haura, because behind the woman, stood a power that was not playful anymore.

"I hope your mom is okay!" haura said again, followed by a nod from the man.

Haura's phone rang, forcing the woman to reach into her bag to search for the flat sail. When Haura opened it—Haura was shocked, she completely forgot Alden, without informing the man if he was in the hospital.

"Where are you? Aren't you working? I hear you're authorized to head your division if you take a day off."

"I'm in the hospital!" haura replied, his eyes occasionally noticed the strange movements of Theo and Alila, as if they were not a couple anymore because both of them were really like unknown people.

"Who is sick? You you?" Alden sounded very surprised when his girlfriend said hospital.

"No... Delarosa has a cerebral hemorrhage."

Suddenly Haura heard Theo yell, completely deafening her ears. The man called his mother's name with tears. Haura's eyes widened. It couldn't have been, if Delarosa had really taken a life. Is it because of Haura? Haura subconsciously lowered her phone without closing Alden's call. So several times Alden called Haura's name out of worry. But Haura instead walked up to Theo who seemed to be ruffling her hair.

"Hauras... My mom died!" Theo managed to hug Haura, without any resistance from the woman. Haura herself did not lose out in shock. Not because of the loss, but the immense guilt that lingered in his mind.

Alila who saw her husband frustrated wanted it to calm Theo down. But the man had already chosen another woman to be the back of—not him as his wife.

"Ma–your mother, died?" Haura closed her own mouth as if she could not believe what was happening with Delarosa who had to take her last breath in this way.
