Shelby's Feelings
Shelby dropped her phone when she finished calling Dareen, she who was currently on the balcony looking forward with a blank look. Shelby feels strange with his feelings when he sees photos of Dareen and Mia, the photos are so sensual, that Shelby was speechless.
”Ekhem!” suddenly, Mario's voice from behind made Shelby wake up and then turn his head.
“You surprised me, Mario," Shelby said, making Mario chuckle.
“There's something you think, Hmm?’ mario asked, handing the soda to Shelby.
Shelby opened a can of soda bought by Mario, then he nipped it. And after that, he nodded.
“No, I didn't think of anything.”
“You say it like that but your face says otherwise. Are you thinking about Dareen" Mario replied, until Shelby turned his head.
“Why are you discussing him?” ask selfie.
“Are you jealous because you saw pictures of him and with other women?” ask again. Shelby laughs. But his laughter was so doubtful as if he was justifying what Mario was saying.
“No, where possible," said Shelby again trying to evade.
“But, from my vision it seems like Dareen is starting to fall in love with you," Mario said. Until Shelby chokes.
“Think of where it is, indeed you are psychic,” reply Shelby with sewot.
“Mario you're here" replied Shelby who prefers not to discuss Dareen anymore.
Silence, no one spoke, until Mario again opened his mouth from asking.
“Then, What if my guess is correct. What if Dareen loves you. Do you want to have a real relationship with Dareen?” ask Mario again
Shelby shook her head without hesitation. “I don't want to commit to anyone, don't want to be in love with Darren or anyone else, either" Shelby replied, until Mario looked straight at Shelby.
“You don't want to be in any relationship with anyone else but you're still Darren's wife. Does that make sense?” ask Mario.
Shelby nodded her head. “My mind is pretty complicated. Actually we are husband and wife, but I still consider Dareen a friend and there is no intention to be like a couple in general. You know, I've had a great trauma with my past, my family and my marriage. Actually, first me and Daren are getting married. I had a thought that one that we would be a happy and stupid family I thought of that when Dareen was forced to marry me. I thought that after seeing her children, Dareen would change but after she seemed to hate my daughter, I realized something that my hopes were in vain, my wish will never be achieved and since then I have decided not to trust anyone again, not to believe again a commitment.”
“Then why are you still hanging on with Dareen, don't you want to commit?” ask Mario again.
Shelby nodded her head. “I think our marriage is not a commitment, because we agreed to make friends even more so we also think about the mentality of our twins, I have also told Dareen, he said, I don't care if Dareen has a lover.”
Mario shook his head. “You allowed Dareen to have a lover but you look upset when you see a photo of Dareen with a woman.”
