Love me, Mr. Duke

Love me, Mr. Duke
Chapter 21.Why You're Coming

...~Love Me My Lord Duke~...

I took my mask that was lying on the stage floor and immediately sauntered away down the stairs behind.

Kyle approached me. I looked at his face for a moment before I finally got my face.

"Miss Viola!" call him.

Her cold hand reached my wrist, and made me stop my steps.

"Sir Kyle, please don't be like this" I said. Staying behind him doesn't want to turn around back.

"No. There's something I want to say to Miss Viola," she said.

Kyle then gave a light squeeze, as if giving me a warning.

"Tell me quickly, then let me go" I concluded, looking slowly at Kyle.

Kyle avoided my sight, "Tomorrow... There's something I want to say to Miss Viola," Kyle said softly.

"Miss will definitely come?" Kyle looked at me with an implied look. I just kept staring at him.

'See Kyle.'

"Miss Viola will definitely keep my offer until the end right?"

I averted my eyes, and immediately pulled my wrist from Kyle's hand.

"Let's see tomorrow, Mr. Ky-"

"Even Miss Viola's answer did not change like last time.." chirped, her voice sounded deep and low.

"Do I have no hope anymore?"

I was a little surprised to hear his question.

'Looks like I know where this conversation is going.'

I immediately left Kyle without a word. He wasn't trying to hold me back like at the beginning.

Don't push me to the edge of the abyss. Carxen knows it now. I can't be sure if I can still go out tomorrow or not. I don't even know how to face her face.

'I really don't know what to do now. I'm...'

BRAKK!

Someone hit my shoulder hard, my body was powerless to stand in balance causing my body to fall directly into the streets.

I looked down at the street with a blank look. I really don't want to raise my head. Unimportant questions came to haunt me, leading me to become increasingly entangled in the void. "Are people watching me?" "Will they ignore me? "Or are they not aware of my presence?"

Even in this world no one really wants me, just like in my old life.

I was always left alone. Again and again. It keeps repeating. No matter where I am. Whatever side of the world I stand on, it still won't change anything.

Of the many footsteps around me, the sound of footsteps stopping right behind me was able to make me flinch.

"Wake up from there."

That deep, firm tone of voice no longer scares me. As if I had been waiting for this moment.

I squeezed my robe tightly, biting my lips until they bled.

"I said wake up!" Carxen held onto both of my shoulders, made me stand up and turned my body towards him.

My eyes were instantly filled with tears, Carxen's face looked extremely shocked.

My tears slowly fell down my cheeks. Carxen held my face with his hand and wiped my tears with his thumb. It feels strange but warm.

Carxen's red eyes looked cute, his gaze seemed to radiate pain. Slowly and gently she moved her thumb under my lips and wiped the blood on my lips.

"Sir-Master Duke-!!"

Carxen then grabbed my waist, brought his face closer to mine and licked my lower lip gently. I groaned softly as he did that, "Nghn!"

'What is he doing in a public place like this?? Why do you keep confusing me with your attitude?'

Carxen stopped doing it and looked me in the eye. His face was not blushing, but his ears were red. I pushed her slowly while turning my face away trying to avoid her gaze, feeling embarrassed.

"What are you doing here? You're not angry?" I asked as I glanced at Carxen carefully.

Carxen didn't say anything, he pulled my wrist.

I'm trying to get my wrist out of Carxen's grasp.

"Mr-Master Duke!"

Carxen told me to get into the chariot with the eagle in front of me. In the end I returned to the Callisto residence with him.

In the car Carxen sat next to me. He hasn't said a word since. Carxen continued to clench his mouth while supporting his face with his hands and gazing out the window.

Along the way, I wondered what he was thinking. I wanted to grab his hand and ask, but I didn't have the slightest courage.
