...~Love Me My Lord Duke~...
Three months later, I got a letter from Martha that she was getting married next week. And the wedding will take place in the Grand Holy Mansion, a classic old mansion set near a stunning stretch of sand and sea. The place where Carxen and I got married first.
"Madam, don't always linger standing in front of the balcony when it's evening. The lady will be sick."
Ivone covered my shoulders with a thin cloth. I looked back and smiled gently at her, "Don't worry Ivone. Didn't I always do this? There's nothing to worry about."
Ivone was heard sighing softly, "I know Madam. It's just that this time the Madam's condition is different from the one before."
"really that? But I don't feel that way."
"Then I'll make Madam tea and bring some cookies."
"Good idea. Just bring me a strawberry cake I'm gonna eat that."
"Good Mistress. Is there anything else the madam wants?"
"Um, it doesn't seem to exist anymore. Sorry I had to trouble you again Ivone."
Ivone smiled warmly at me, "Absolutely not bothering Madam. Whatever it is as long as the Madam is happy I will do it with pleasure."
"Your ability to make my heart happy is increasing day by day. That's a good achievement."
Ivone laughed softly at my words, "Then I'll excuse you now."
I then turned my face forward, staring at the orange-colored sunset that spoiled the eyes.
I sighed softly, then I turned to stare at the number engraved on my wrist.
"At least there's still time... Until that day comes."
A cold wind blew my hair and made the cloth on my shoulder sag to my arm. Someone helped me cover my shoulder from behind.
"Ah, thank you Ivone."
A large arm suddenly coiled around my stomach, I gasped and immediately turned my head back.
"Dear?..."
Carxen rested his head on my shoulder, "Hm..."
I rubbed Carxen's hair gently, "You're home, baby. What is it, you don't even knock on the door like you normally do?"
"I've finished all the work and rushed home to see you."
Look at this fierce guy. He looks like a lion doused in water now. So adorable.
I sighed and smiled softly, "Good work dear. I'm proud of you."
Although sometimes it's embarrassing especially when the servants see it, at least I can tell that he loves me very much.
I quickly withdrew from the kiss, "Pretty dear."
Carxen turned my body around and hugged me tightly, "No, this is not enough. I still miss you."
I laughed softly, "We just didn't meet half a day baby."
"It just feels so long. Now there are two people waiting for me to come home."
I smiled hearing that. Carxen let go of his embrace and rubbed my stomach gently and carefully.
"What's the matter, baby?"
"No. I just checked it."
I chuckled softly, "He's fine, baby. Don't worry."
"Yes, you two should always be fine." Carxen then kissed my forehead gently.
"Darling, I got a letter this morning from my sister. He said he would get married next week at the Grand Holy Mansion."
"Hm, is that true?" Carxen plays my unraveling hair on the back.
"Darling, are you listening to me?"
Carxen smiled slightly then held my face, "I always listen to you dear."
Soon Ivone walked in by pushing a trolley containing tea and some strawberry cakes. I'll approach her soon. Carxen watched us from the balcony.
"Thank you Ivone."
"It's not a problem, madam. Then excuse me now."
Ivone hastily came out of my room. Looks like he's feeling disinclined to Carxen.
"Honey, stop staring at Ivone like that."
"I am like this."
No. gabe. You just stare hard at that poor girl because she always comes at the wrong time.
"All right, I'll try."
"Good, baby."
I don't know since when, he started to become childish.
