Love Me Please, Mas Duda

Love Me Please, Mas Duda
13 - Jealous Fire Sparks

Dea stared at the night sky from the front porch of her house. The atmosphere of the countryside is still very thick in this hometown.

Dea remembers how Shady asked her to wait. Isn't waiting a boring activity? And until when Dea should wait.

Dea just sighed. The warmth of Shady's embrace can still be felt. It was the first time they had touched each other besides the forceful kiss some time ago.

"Nduk, it's night. Come inside! The night wind is not good for your health." Marni approached Dea who was sitting on the terrace.

"A little while, Mom. Tonight the moon and stars are good."

Marni chose to sit next to her daughter. "Eh, Nduk. Mr. Shady is good. You're lucky to have an employer as good as him. Must be so happy to have a husband like him."

Dea looked away at the word 'wife' from her mother's mouth. If only Marni knew, if Shady's wife was her own daughter.

"Sir, why is he silent?"

"Eh? No, Madam. It seems like the night wind is starting to make me cold. Let's go in, Mom!"

Dea got up from her seat and immediately entered the house. Marni just frowned at the behavior of her daughter who seemed to hide something.

The next day, Dea was still lounging in the room after her three younger siblings left for school. There is nothing Dea does but surf in cyberspace.

While looking at the photo post of his idol, Dea's phone rang. A call from Rasya's assistant, Thunder.

"Sir Thunder? What's the matter calling me?"

Although Dea was reluctant to answer, Dea could not ignore the call.

"Hello, sir."

"Hello, Dea. Sorry to interrupt your time. I heard from your friend that you were taking a few days off."

"Oh, yes sir. Because my research assignment was already approved, so I could take a few days off."

"But, Dea, right now Mr. Rasya wants you to go to campus immediately. He said he'd speed up your tutoring."

Dea's eyes instantly sparkled. "really?"

"Yes. Therefore Mr. Rasya is very much looking forward to your presence. It is rare for Mr. Rasya to do this. That's why you're so lucky, Dea."

Dea thought for a moment. Dea still wants a vacation at her parents' house. In addition to avoiding Shady, Dea still misses her family. But this rare opportunity certainly cannot be wasted Dea.

"alright, Sir. Tomorrow I'll go to college."

Call ended. Dea exhaled a rough breath.

"Enhance, Dea. You need to finish your final assignment and graduate quickly. After that you'll be free of Mas Shady and his family" Dea told himself.

Later that day, Dea told her parents she had to return to the capital. He must finish his final task. Dea booked train tickets online. The train will leave in the afternoon.

Karsa drove his eldest daughter to the station. Dea hugged her father and asked the middle-aged man for his blessing.

The train began to walk away from the city of Dea's birthplace. He must fight again in the city of people to reach his goals.

Dea looked at her phone screen. He was confused whether to tell Shady or not. But a second later, he dialed Shady's number and...

Shady who was struggling with his work was suddenly startled by the vibrations from his phone. Shady took a quick glance and saw Dea's name there.

Without waiting for long, Shady immediately answered the call.

"Hello, Dea. What's the matter you called me?" Shady's voice sounded very happy.

"Emh, I'm sorry I interrupted your time, Mom."

"Ah no. What's up?"

"Today I went back to Jakarta. It's I've been on the train."

"Oh, okay. I'll pick you up at the station."

"Heh?! No need, Mom. I can take a cab."

"Dea! You know I don't like rejection? Besides you got here almost late at night. If something happens to you then..." Shady stopped his sentence. I don't know why he had to talk to Dea at length.

"Yes, it's up to you."

"Hm."

Call disconnected. Shady decided it unilaterally. Dea glared away. "How shall I face you, my dear?" Inner Dea while closing her eyes.

...***...

But Nilam realized, if between Shady and Dea is bound by a marriage agreement. Nilam wants to prevent it. But his son was very stubborn. Now Nilam only hopes that Shady will accept Dea as his full wife.

Last night, when Shady and Dea arrived home, Nilam accidentally saw the interaction between the two of them. Something was different with his son's attitude. Nilam must figure out a way to keep Dea married to Shady.

"Mom's glad you're back, son. How are your parents?" Nilam asked as Dea was preparing breakfast.

"They're all good, Mom."

"Thank God then. Do they know if you..."

Dea immediately shook her head. Dea knows where Nilam's talking is going.

"This marriage is only temporary, ma'am. So, I don't think they need to know about this. I will also take care of my final task quickly. So..."

"Dea!" Nilam cut out the sentence Dea.

"Didn't you care about Naura's feelings at all? Don't you care about him? She loves you and she thinks of you as her mother. I can't imagine how Naura would feel when you split up. Please think again!" Nilam held both hands of Dea.

"Mom, it's not me who decides. Shady himself took this step. So it's useless if you persuade me."

Dea continued to arrange the food on the table. Nilam just closed his eyes while stroking his chest.

Meanwhile, Shady had been standing not far from the dining room. He heard all the talk of Dea and her mother. I don't know why his heart started to wobble. He began to feel that the decision he made a year ago was wrong.

...***...

Dea meets Rasya at the college. Rasya says he will help Dea so that Dea can pass faster than the specified time. Of course Dea was very happy to hear that.

"We talked about this over lunch, how about it?"

"Eh?!" Dea was surprised that Rasya invited her to lunch together.

"But, Sir..."

"Dea, it's lunch time. So, there's no harm, right? You know, I can't concentrate if my stomach isn't full." Rasya patted his stomach that looks flat behind the white shirt he wears. Dea can imagine what kind of body shape Rasya athletic even though now wrapped in a shirt.

"Hmm, all right, sir." Dea has no power to refuse. Because he needs Rasya's guidance to graduate quickly.

Arriving at the parking lot, the two of them became the center of attention. Especially when Rasya gives a little joke and makes Dea laugh loosely and wide. The sight was certainly envious of the students who admired the figure of the young lecturer. Not a few who sneered at Dea because it was considered to have tempted Rasya.

Dea doesn't care about people's talk. Most importantly he could finish the final task well and pass it quickly.

It turned out that the carefree laughter that Dea showed made one figure who was staring intently at them clenched their hands. Intentions wanted to pick Dea up, but it turned out that she saw something else.

The figure who is Shady immediately walked over to Dea who will get into Rasya's car. As fast as lightning Shady blocks Dea's arm until the girl turns to face him and crashes into Shady's field chest.

Dea suffocated in shock to realize who had already pulled her arm.

"Mas Shady?"

"Come with me!" Shady said with great emphasis.

"Shady, what the hell is this?" Rasya frowned in wonder.

"Shut up! It's none of your business!" Shady pointed at Rasya with his index finger.

"Of course this is my business! Dea is my student!" Rasya said no less firmly.

"Whatever you say! I'll take Dea away!"

"Eh?! Wh-what?!" Dea was confused by the situation that was going on. Dea only followed Shady's wishes because now her hand was forcibly pulled by the man.

Dea got into Shady's car and left Rasya still in the parking lot. A smile rose from his lips.

"Are you jealous, Shady? Looks like it's gonna get interesting. I'm sure there's something between you. I'll find out what it is" Rasya murmured inwardly.

Meanwhile, in the driving car, there was no conversation between the two people. Dea who chose silence and Shady who tried to temper his anger just because he saw Dea smiling at Rasya.

Suddenly Shady pressed a button on the dashboard and dialed someone's number. Dea took a quick glance and did not want to care who Shady contacted.

"Hello, Rosi! Please clean up all the Dea's stuff and move it to my room!"

Dea's eyes break into hearing Shady's orders to Rosi, the head housekeeper at her house.
