26 - The Selfishness of a Shady

After thinking long, Shady finally decided to follow the advice of his mother and sister, namely to meet Dea directly to his hometown. And here's Shady now.

In front of a simple house with a large yard, Shady got out of the car and stood in front of the house. After contacting Roni if he would take a week off, Shady headed straight to Dea's hometown. Shady must successfully persuade Dea to return to the Hutama family home and become a mother, Naura continued.

Shady tidied up his appearance before knocking on the door. He wanted to be perfect in front of Dea and his family.

As soon as the door opened, Dea's father was standing in the doorway with a surprised face.

"Mr Shady?"

Shady commented his smile kindly. "Hi, Sir. Sorry if I was interrupting. I'm ... I'm on business here, so I'll all drop by."

Karsa happily invited Shady into the house.

"Please come in, Mr. Shady. Sorry if the house is empty. My wife is at the market, and the kids are also at school."

Shady nodded in understanding. "Then, Dea?"

"Oh, Dea is now teaching at this village school. It seems like the teaching hours are over soon."

Not wanting to wait long, Shady bids his farewell to Karsa to meet Dea at his place of teaching. Shady borrowed Karsa's motorbike.

As he was about to arrive in front of the school building, Shady saw the figure of Dea who was driving his students home from school. Shady did not expect that now Dwa grew into an amazing woman.

Shady did not expect that the girl he married two years ago has now transformed into a charming girl. Shady's eyes didn't blink when he looked at Dea from a distance not too far away.

Shady even saw how much Dea loved his students.

"He does have a heart like an angel" Shady murmured.

When all the students have returned home, Shady intends to approach Dea who will step back into the school building. But Shady was preceded by a man who came down from the black car.

The man seemed familiar with Dea. And Dea also called the man 'mas'. The call to Shady was very special. Shady clenched his hands disliking the closeness of Dea and the young man.

Shortly after the conversation, Dea left with the man in his car. Shady immediately turned on the motorbike he borrowed and followed the young man's car which was none other than Arshad.

Arshad drove Dea home. Dea got out of the car and smiled sweetly. That made Shady lose his mind. He couldn't accept that Dea had to smile at another man.

"Dea!" Shady's voice made Dea and Arshad turn towards him.

Dea is shocked to see Shady in her home.

"Mas Shady?" muttered Dea with a confused face.

Shady looked at Arshad with a look of dislike. "So, this is what you did after you left my house?" cynical Shady.

Dea looked at Shady in disbelief at what he said.

"What do you mean?" ask Dea.

"Who is he?" shady asked, pointing at Arshad with his chin.

Arshad himself did not want to bother with the presence of Shady. Arshad's phone vibrated and it was a call from the village clinic.

"Dea, I gotta go. There was a call from the clinic" Arshad said.

"Yes, Mas. Thanks again for driving me." Dea reviews the smile that led Arshad until the young doctor disappeared from his sight.

"What are you doing here?" ask Dea again.

"I? I want to see you."

Dea nodded.

"I want to pick you back to Hutama's house." Shady doesn't like to be stale. Especially after seeing Dea close to another man.

"What's? Back to Hutama's house? But for what? I no longer have any business with the Mas family!" firmly Dea.

"Of course there is. Naura needs you as a mother. He's been looking for you." Somehow Shady's tone began to rise.

Dea looked at Shady in disbelief. "So, is this all because of Naura?"

"Yes! Naura needs you as her mother!"

"So Mas asked me to come back just for Naura?" Dea was already happy because of Shady's arrival, but after hearing Shady's only reason for Naura, Dea thought she could no longer talk to Shady.

"Sorry, Mas. I've done everything that's been in the contract for the past two years. And I have no business with you or your family anymore. So, I better get out of here."

Dea breezed away from in front of Shady. But the man blocked Dea's arm.

"We're not done talking!" Shady's eyes implied a stifled rage.

"Let go! There's nothing more we should talk about! If Mas came here just to bring me back as a surrogate mother to Naura, then I don't want to!" Dea replied with teary eyes. Her heart was too sore because Shady still did not consider it to exist.

"You gotta do it, Dea! Because you're still my wife! You are my wife!" exclaim Shady.

"What-what?!" Dea stunned.

"I never filed for divorce for our marriage. So, you're still legit as my wife! And as a wife you shouldn't be alone with another man without your husband's knowledge!" shady shouted out all his emotions.

Suddenly there was a noise coming from inside the house. Dea went inside the house and saw her father breaking the glass she was holding.

"Mr!" peekik Dea's.

"W-what? Wife? So you're married, son? Why didn't you tell us? Why did you get married without your parents' blessing?" Karsa fell to the floor holding his left chest.

"Mr!" Dea was further panicked because Karsa's heart attack had returned.

Shady quickly helps Dea to take Karsa to the hospital. Shady drove them to the nearest hospital.

Dea's tears could no longer be contained when she saw her father unconscious brought into the IGD room. Dea contacted the mother who was still in the market.

With sobbing Dea told the mother who was certainly also very shocked to hear the husband fell unconscious. Dea looked at Shady sharply after talking to her mother.

"If anything happens to you, I will never forgive you, Mom! I will never forgive you!" dea shouted right in front of Shady's face.

Dea shuffled sitting on the waiting bench of the IGD room. Her tears broke as if something had happened to her father.

Shady now feels very guilty about what happened to Dea's father. Shady rubbed his face rough. Somehow his lips were too faint to say if he also needed Dea, not just Naura. Shady's ego is too high to admit his feelings. And now he even hurt the girl he loved so much.

"I'm sorry, Dea. I'm sorry I can only make you sad." Shady looked at Dea full of regret. He sat down near Dea and hugged her. But it seemed that the girl would even hate him more if he did that.
