31 - Choice of Heart Dea

For a moment Dea and Shady looked at each other with a fairly close distance. Dea was still trying to digest what she had just heard.

"What did Mas Shady say? She loved me? Did I not hear wrong?" inner Dea.

Dea was silent. His lips could not answer anything. He really wanted to believe all of Shady's words.

Shady pulls Dea's body in his arms. "I promise we'll face all this together."

Dea came out of her room and saw an unusual sight. Shady was talking to Nana about the future plans for the 18-year-old's education.

Nana just nodded her head listening to Shady's explanation. Dea smiled with relief at how Shady treated her sister.

"See that! Mr. Shady seems like a good brother-in-law to your sister." Marni approached Dea and patted her shoulder gently.

"Yes, Mom. Now how should I do, Mom? Mas Shady last night expressed his feelings for me. But I'm still not sure if he's serious or..."

Dea chooses to meet Naura who is playing with Juna and Azmi.

"Juna, Azmi, you have to go to school. Go get ready there!" said Dea.

The two boys followed what Dea said.

"Mama!" Naura directly hugged Dea tightly.

"Mama, you're gonna have a Dea cama and papa's gonna go home?" ask the little boy in his cute style.

Dea covered her smile. "Mama..."

"Darling, didn't we agree to do this? We're moving out of this village, so you can't teach here anymore. After all, I'm still very capable of financing all your needs as well as your family."

It felt like Dea was scolding Shady right now. But Dea still has ethics because now he is dealing with the principal.

Dea only commented on the forced smile that Shady had made her quit her dream job. Shady says goodbye to the principal and brings Dea home together.

Shady stopped his car in front of a farm owned by villagers.

Dea sighed. "It's so selfish of you, Mom!"

Dea still turned her face away.

A second later Dea looked at Shady who was looking at her.

"Mas, can you give me some time? It's too..."

"No! I can't wait anymore, Dea! I know I'm guilty of you. You can punish me as much as you want, I'll take it." Shady keeps trying to convince Dea.
