Six months later, though,
This morning Dea was preparing a companion meal for Naura. That adorable little baby is six months old. That means that it has been six months since Dea was imprisoned in the Hutama family mansion as Shady's wife.
It was just a status for Dea. Because basically he was just a nanny for Naura. Six months into marriage, Shady is still cold towards Dea. And his accusations against Dea have not changed.
"Today, what's Oma's granddaughter eating?" Nilam's voice made Dea aware of his daydream.
"Mother? Today I made the broccoli team rice." Dea tried to smile in front of Nilam. Dea was so grateful that her mother-in-law was so kind to her.
Nilam took Naura and brought her to Dea. Dea gladly accepted Naura. Dea kissed him with a cringe.
"Today let Mother feed Naura. You just get Shady's needs ready. Today he's going out of town."
Dea nodded in understanding. He immediately sat Naura in his dining chair and said goodbye. Dea's headed to Shady's room.
Arriving in front of the room, Dea hesitated as she knocked on the door. Even so he had to do it.
"Excuse me, Mister. Lady Nilam asked me to help you prepare."
Dea kept her face down and dared not look at Shady. It felt too afraid to look into the sharp eyes of that handsome widower.
"Look at your opponent if you're talking!"
Shady's sentence made Dea look up.
"Sorry, Sir. I was asked to..."
"No need! Do you know what your position is in this house?"
Spicy words thrown by Shady made Dea speechless.
"I know you're only here to please my mother. So, let's just say your job is done. I'm gonna talk to Mom not to tell you to do unnecessary things. You take care of Naura."
Dea could only nod obediently. No matter how he tries, everything will feel wrong in Shady's eyes. The man asks Dea to get out of the room, but Dea flirts.
"Yes okay. I'll be out first" Shady said.
Shady pushes his suitcase and leaves Dea in the room. The room was supposed to belong to both of them, but until now Dea had never been a resident of that room. Dea could only sigh with all of Shady's attitude towards her.
"When is this all over, God? What kind of marriage am I having?" Dea could only scream in her heart. He followed Shady's steps.

That night after putting Naura to sleep, Dea used to go to the back porch to look at the night sky. His heart was calm as he stared at the flickering stars that seemed to accompany him.
Dea feels alone. There were millions of stars accompanying him every night. Dea played her phone.
Dea remembered that it was time to send money to her parents and younger siblings in the village. Dea contacts Nana, her biggest sister.
"Hello, Na. Ma'am has sent money for you and your sisters. Studying hard yes. You have to stay in school no matter what. Say hello to father and mother. I'm sorry if I haven't been able to come home because of the busyness."
Dea immediately ended the call. Dea rubbed her tears that had dripped. Until now his family did not know if Dea was no longer a student. She is now married to a rich man.
Dea stared at the screen of her phone. He checked his remaining savings.
"This is not what I want! I have a lot of money because I am here. But this is not what I wanted," said Dea, who finally shed her tears.
Without Dea knowing, Shady had noticed Dea's movements. Even the sound of Dea's cry now felt heartbreaking when Shady heard it. The man never knew that what he had done to Dea weighed heavily on his heart and mind.
The next day, Shady approaches Dea who is making team rice for Naura.
"Ehem!" Shady deliberately cleared his throat to make Dea aware of his presence.
"Eh? Mr Shady? Is there anything you need?"
"Ehm, there's no. But..."
An awkward situation began to occur between the two people who had the status of husband and wife. It had been six months but they had never chatted normally as a couple.
"What do you want?" shady asked a little doubtfully.
"Eh? Meanin?" Dea still doesn't understand Shady's question.
"I've given you monthly money to send to your family. But I don't think that's enough. What exactly do you want?"
Dea was quite surprised by Shady's statement. It felt like Shady knew what Dea was feeling.
"Tell me!"
"I ... I want to continue my studies, Sir." Dea said doubtfully.
"That's all?"
Dea nodded. "I aspire to be a teacher. So, I still hope to be able to continue my studies."
Dea squeezed his shirt. He hoped Shady would not be upset by what Dea had said.
"alright. I can take care of it."
"Eh? Wh-what?!" Dea's eyes are perfectly patterned. "Serious sir?!"
"You think I look like a liar, huh?!" Upset Shady.
"N-no, Sir. Thank you very much, Sir."
A smile on Dea's lips. For the first time Shady saw Dea's beautiful smile. During his stay in this house, Dea never smiled or laughed freely unless he was playing with Naura.
For a moment, Shady fell asleep with a Dea smile until he did not realize that the girl had gone from before him.
"Be better with your wife, Bang." Nilam came and made Shady realize.
"I think I'm good enough for him. You heard what he asked for, didn't you?"
"Yes, I know. But I'm asking you not to keep blaming Dea for what happened to Nola. It's been six months, haven't you found anything about the accident?" Nilam is still inexhaustible how Shady can be slow in overcoming this problem.
"No, Ma. Finding hidden evidence is not as easy as we think."
Nilam breathed. "Yes already. I believe in you. Then, where are you going to enroll Dea in college?"
"Wouldn't Clara be home in a few days and will continue S2 here? I think I'd better enroll Dea at the same college as Clara."
Nilam just put his shoulder out. "As far as you go, Bang. I'm tired of giving you advice."

This morning all the members of the Hutama family gathered at the dining table. They will have breakfast together before starting their own activities. Clara, Shady's sister, has returned home after studying abroad.
"I've enrolled you at the Avicenna campus together with Dea." Shady said casually as he scooped up his food.
"WHAT?! With Dea?! That's right, Bang! Why did you sign him up there, too?" Clara's murmur.
"What harm? You're on S2 and Dea S1 anyway. You'll be different buildings too" Shady said.
Clara grunted in annoyance. He had heard all the stories about the Nola crash that were claimed to be the fault of Dea.
While Dea was silent to see the flash of hostility displayed by her sister-in-law. Yes, Clara is Dea's sister-in-law despite Dea's younger age than Clara.
After breakfast, Dea prepared all the needs of Naura when left by her to Rosi, the head housekeeper there.
"Miss just calm down. I'll take good care of Baby Naura."
"Thank you, Bi. This is the first time I've left Naura. It feels pretty heavy." Dea hugged and kissed the puffed cheeks of Naura. The little boy was in a pang as Dea continued to shower him with a kiss.
Shady who accidentally saw that felt a little touched. He could not believe that Dea loved his daughter so much. He pulled the corners of his lips until he formed a smile.
