Love Me Please, Mas Duda
41 - Naura Sick

Dea and Shady immediately end their honeymoon when they get a call if Naura is sick. It turns out that Dea's hunch is not wrong.

Dea is not Naura's mother, but Dea has been taking care of Naura since she was a baby. The bond between them is certainly very strong.

Arriving at the airport, Dea immediately asked the driver to go to the hospital. Many times Shady calms Dea down.

"There's Mom and Clara too, I'm sure Naura's fine." Shady hugged Dea's shoulder.

"I'm sure my hunch isn't wrong, Mas. It's true that if anything happens to Naura. God, I feel guilty for leaving her."

"Don't say that! You are innocent. Already yes, don't think no."

An hour later, they finally arrived at the hospital. Dea ran straight to Naura's nursery. He did not care about the condition of his body that was exhausted due to a long trip. He just wanted to see the condition of Naura, his daughter.

Arriving in front of the VVIP ward, Dea neutralized her heartbeat. Shady opens the door and sees Naura accompanied by Nilam. The little boy was asleep.

"Lady..." Shady and Dea approach Nilam.

"Have you come?" Nilam welcomed the arrival of his son and son-in-law.

"What's Naura's condition?" tanya Dea doesn't want to be stale.

"His fever is starting to come down. But the red spots still appear."

Dea immediately approached Naura. "Darling, I'm sorry mom. Mama left you and you're sick like this."

"What's the doctor saying, Mom?" Shady's turn to ask.

"Doctors are still waiting for lab results. Maybe today the results come out."

"Mom, this isn't a regular rash spot. What did Naura do to get this way?" ask Dea.

"Come, Son. I feel like there's nothing weird about Naura doing. Plus Clara and Nana will also be watching Naura."

Dea looked at Shady. Dea, who had experienced with her younger siblings who were often sick, felt strange about the condition experienced by Naura.

"I'd better not say anything to Shady and Mom before the doctor speaks. I'm afraid I misdiagnosed it and it's all a rundown, "inner Dea.

That same day, after doctors examined Naura's condition, the doctor asked permission to talk to Shady and Dea. The couple followed the steps of the doctor who entered the room.

Dea and Shady sit opposite the doctor who turns out to be Arshad. There is a slight awkwardness that occurs when Dea learns that the doctor who treated Naura is Arshad.

"What happened to my daughter?" shady didn't want to be stale.

Arshad glanced at Dea at a glance, then he looked at Shady.

"Look, we've done a blood test on Naura. And from the lab results it was found that Naura had an allergy to the protein she consumed and it came from bananas" explained Arshad.

"Fruit banana?" Shady knitted his two eyebrows. "That's impossible! Nola and I have no history of banana allergy" Shady said.

Dea looked down at his face. Actually Dea knew this since Naura was 6 months old, when Naura began to be introduced to milk companion foods. Dea never said anything because she was afraid Shady would get mad at her.

Naura had experienced this but at that time Dea directly handled it by giving anti-allergy drugs. Maybe yesterday Nilam and Clara who were not aware of Naura's allergy did not give any anti-allergy drugs to the little girl.

Shady looked at Dea who was just looking down. His gaze was sharp and showed anger there.

"Thank you, Doc. Then excuse me!" Dea follows Shady's steps.

"Wait, Dea!" Arshad prevents Dea.

"What's up, Doctor?" asked Dea with a look down. He did not expect to meet Arshad in this unpleasant situation.

"I know you already know about Naura's allergy."

Dea lifted her head. "How does the doctor know?"

"That's it. Now you must calm your husband. It seems like he was angry because you didn't tell him."

"Good, Doc. Thanks again."

Dea walked out of Arshad's room. He looks for the whereabouts of Shady who turns out to be sitting on a hospital park bench.

Dea approached Shady slowly.

"Mas.." call Dea.

Shady was still unmoved and did not want to stare at Dea.

"Mas, I'm sorry for..."

"Why didn't you ever say anything to me? Why?!" Shady's voice sounded firm and straightforward. And that scared Dea a little.

"I'm sorry, Mom. I really can't tell you this because I'm afraid you're gonna blame me for this."

Shady stared at Dea sharply. "So, Naura hasn't just experienced this this time?"

Dea nodded. "I'll keep an eye on Naura from now on, Mas."

"That's not the case, Dea!" Shady was frustrated.

"Then, what's the problem, Mom?" Dea sat down next to Shady and rubbed her husband's arm.

Shady held her head and ruffled her hair.

"Neither I nor Nola have a history of allergies like Naura."

"What do you mean?" Dea did not understand Shady's meaning.

"The lab results showed that the allergy was inherited from the genes of his parents. But Nola and I don't have a history of banana allergies. Then, how did Naura get that allergy?"

Shady's question made Dea begin to understand her husband's feelings. Dea doesn't want to think too far. Dea also couldn't possibly think badly about this.

"I have to do something!" shady said then got up from his seat.

"What would you do?" asked Dea who was standing up as well.

"I'll do a DNA test on Naura!"

"What?! Mas, don't be rash!" Dea held Shady's arm.

"I must know the truth, Dea! And I also have to prove my hunch!" Shady walked away from Dea.

"Mas! Don't do that!" dea shouted but Shady did not hear it.
