44 - Honesty

That morning Clara was preparing breakfast for him and Rasya. His phone rang and saw his mother's name on the screen. He answered immediately.

Rasya who just came out of the room immediately headed to the dining room for breakfast. He saw Clara on the phone with someone.

"Who are you talking to?" rasha asked after the call ended.

"Mother called. He said Naura was out of the hospital."

"Oh, thank goodness." Rasya pulled out a chair and sat on it.

Clara, who wants to be honest about her pregnancy, becomes depressed because Rasya's attitude is still cold to her. But Clara also can't cover her pregnancy continuously. Sooner or later Rasya will know this.

"Umm, Brother. I see my brother likes children very much. Big brother even looks very close to Naura. If we had our own children, I'm sure you'd love her too, right?"

Clara's question made Rasya stop the feed of food to her mouth.

An annoyed Clara clenched her hands.

"Take a look at you, brother! I won't let you do this to me!"

Clara grabbed her phone and dialed someone's number.

"Hello, Ma..."

"Is mom busy today? Clara wants to take mom somewhere."

"........."

"alright. Then Clara's gonna pick up mama by noon."

Call ended.

"We'll see, brother! I will make you regret and bend your knees before me!" murmured Clara with a roaring heart.

Shady woke up from his sleep and held his head that still felt buzzing. He remembers that last night he was at a nightclub.

But now he is in his room. Shady blinked his eyes many times. Until a silhouette was seen by him.

"Dea?" muttered Shady.

"You're awake, Mom? Clean yourself first, then come down to breakfast together." Dea immediately breezed out after speaking.

"Wait!" intercept Shady.

Dea turned around and looked at Shady.

"Who brought me home?" ask Shady. He did not even apologize to Dea for what happened yesterday.

Dea remained silent and did not answer.

"Tell me who drove me home!" Shady can't wait for Dea's answer.

"Roni," Dea answered briefly then completely passed from inside the room.

Dea sighed and closed her eyes. It hurts when Shady acts like nothing happened to their relationship.

"Mom!" Nana's voice shocked Dea.

"Sin'ana?"

"Is something going on?" asked Nana who saw something was wrong with her brother's attitude.

"none. Let's go to the dining room. I must have been waiting there."

"Mom!" Nana blocks Dea's arm.

Dea smiled bitterly. "No! Mas Shady just went to a banquet with his business partner. Yeah a little bit of alcohol I think that's natural, hehe. It's a big city, Dek. So don't compare it to our hometown." Dea patted Nana on the shoulder and walked away from the girl.

Shady comes last in the dining room. He greeted the mother by kissing the middle-aged woman's cheek.

Nilam just kept quiet and paid attention to the interaction between the child and his daughter-in-law. Her feelings as a mother can no longer be denied. He could feel if there was something hidden by his son.

Breakfast is over. Nilam wiped his mouth then drank a glass of milk for the age of 50+. Before moving on, Nilam advised his son and daughter-in-law.

Dea shook her head slowly as Nilam looked at her.

"It's impossible!" nilam exclaimed before finally the middle-aged woman was unconscious.
