09 - Apology

"Rasya, what are you doing here?"

Shady asked to expel his surprise. He did not expect that he would meet someone he knew in this place.

"You looking for Dea?" Rasya asked back.

"Eh?!" Shady was confused. He was like a thief caught in the middle. But it feels like he can't escape anymore. He racked his brain to find a good reason for Rasya.

"I brought Dea here. He passed out on campus." Rasya explained about his presence in the hospital.

"Oh, so." Shady was confused what else to say.

"You yourself? What are you doing here? Do you ... know Dea?" Search Rasya.

"Eh?!"

"So someone called Dea's cell phone, I answered him and said Dea was in the hospital. I think someone who is a relative of his came here. But it turns out .. it's you."

"Ah yes. Someone called me and asked me to come see Dea's condition." Shady scratched his non-itchy nape.

Rasya felt that there was a strange gurgle that Shady showed.

"So, what's your relationship with Dea?" Rasya is still curious about Shady's presence.

"He ... he is..." Shady's words are still hanging. Makes Rasya even more curious about what Shady will say.

Amidst her confusion answering Rasya's question, suddenly a nurse called out Dea's name.

"The Midea Lestari family!" Called a nurse.

Rasya quickly approached the nurse.

"I was his teacher at the college. I brought him here" explained Rasya.

"Look, Sir. Miss Dea's condition is in good condition, only her blood pressure is very low. So, to recover Miss Midea will undergo an inpatient for one or two days depending on her condition. Looks like Miss Midea is also under stress so she doesn't eat regularly. The patient is still unconscious and after this will be transferred to the inpatient room," explained the nurse at length.

"Good, Sister. Thanks again."

Shady who heard the nurse's explanation felt guilty. This morning's incident must have made Dea very shocked. Shady remembers how Dea's frightened expression was when Shady asked her to get out of the car. Plus Shady who almost forcibly took Dea's honor. Surely this makes Dea stressed and depressed. Not to mention the pressure from Clara who always said ketus.

Shady was eager to see the condition of Dea. But the sense of prestige to admit it was so great that he finally could only stay in front of the IGD room. He sat quietly thinking about many things.

"Dragon!" The voice of a call from someone Shady knew made him turn his head.

"Mother? Why did you come here too?"

"Mom was very worried about Dea. How's condition?" ask Nilam.

"He's still unconscious, ma'am. He's gotta be treated here a few days."

"Oh my God, then book the nicest room. I want to see her condition first."

Regardless of Rasya who was there, Nilam entered the IGD room by asking the nurse.

"It seems your mother was very worried about Dea. So, your family knows him?" Rasya still did not give up on making Shady confess.

"Yes, Dea is the nanny of my daughter, Naura." I don't know why that line just slid off Shady's lips.

"Nanny?"

"really. She works part-time as Naura's nanny."

Rasya still can't believe what Shady said. Want to ask further, but the sound of vibrating his phone makes Rasya have to answer immediately. It turned out that it was the assistant who asked him to come to the campus immediately.

With a heavy heart, Rasya says goodbye to Shady and asks the man to look after Dea. Shady thanks Rasya for helping Dea.

Arriving at the parking lot, Rasya immediately entered his car and darted away from the hospital. On the way, Rasya held his head. A lot of things came to his mind.

Rasya pulled over his car and called someone.

"Hello, Eksa. Please check on Midea Lestari. When he got out of jail and who vouch for him. I need the information now!"

Rasya turned off the phone. He is still waiting for information from the assistant, Eksa. Before long the sound of Rasya's cellphone shakes re-echo.

"Hello, how?" Ask Rasya impatiently.

"According to data at the detention house, Midea Lestari is still listed as a prisoner of the detention house, sir. He's still not released."

"Yes, Sir."

Rasya still could not believe what the assistant said. Obviously Dea was his student and Dea was released from prison.

"Is this Shady's doing? But, what's Shady doing this for?" Rasya Mumbles.

Rasya returned to his car because he could not find a definite answer. He will investigate this further at a later time.

Meanwhile in the hospital, Dea had already been transferred to the inpatient VIP room. Nilam deliberately gave the best room for his son-in-law.

"Well, what's really going on? Why did Dea faint like this? Didn't you just go with him?" Nilam began to ask.

"Eh? I'm .. I'm not with Dea, Mom. When I wanted to take her out together, I didn't find Dea at the bus stop. He got on the bus first" Shady lied.

"You're! From now on be nice to Dea. I felt sorry for Dea because of Clara's attitude. If he knew it would be this way, he'd better stay abroad." Nilam sighed remembering Clara's behavior that always oppressed Dea.

"Mom, don't talk like that. I promise I'll talk to Clara slowly." Shady tried to calm Nilam down.

"Tonight stay here. Let the mother take care of Naura" said Nilam rubbed Shady's arm.

"Eh?!" Shady was surprised.

"You are her husband. You should have taken good care of your wife."

There was a voice coming from the bed. Dea began to wake up. Nilam immediately approached Dea's gurney.

"Darling, how are you?" Nilam asked in his soft voice and stroked the top of Dea's head.

"Mother?" Lirih Dea looked at Nilam.

Dea looked around. He began to understand where he was now.

"Rest here until your condition recovers. Shady will take care of you."

Dea's eyes bully hearing Shady's name. Fear began to stir Dea's heart. It is still clear in his memory how Shady treated him harshly. Even Shady almost snatched away the precious thing in him.

Dea turned her face away as Shady began to approach the gurney. I really don't want to see Shady right now. But Dea can't let Nilam get suspicious of them.

"Then I stay first. I'll have Rosi prepare your needs and bring them here."

Shady nodded.

"Darling, I'm staying first! There's already Shady here who'll be with you." Nilam kissed the top of Dea's head and rubbed it.

With a heavy heart Dea must be willing to return alone with Shady. Dea still turned her face away and did not care about Shady.

"I have to get back to the office. There's something I need to take care of. I'll be back here later tonight. You just rest."

Shady says goodbye to Dea but the girl is silent. His heart still ached considering the events of this morning.

Later that night, Shady returns to the hospital with a few change of clothes for Dea. Shady also brought food for Dea. Maybe that way Dea will recover faster.

"Here I bring fruit, eat a little!" Shady said as he approached Dea's gurney.

"Don't come any closer! Just put it there!" Dea pointed at the nightstand next to her safe.

Shady relented. Just this time he felt very guilty towards Dea.

"I'm sorry. I know I hurt you. I'm sorry.." shady said with a look of regret.

Dea was silent. He himself was confused by how he felt. Her heart was pounding violently when Shady kissed her just now. Had Shady done it more gently, maybe Dea wouldn't have been this disappointed in the man before her.

"I'm really sorry, Dea. I promise I won't do it again. Please forgive me..."

Dea still did not answer. To make Shady out of the room and choose to sit on the bench in front of the room Dea.

In the room, Dea could no longer hold back her tears. Somehow her heart ached when Shady apologized to her. Even hearing Shady's promise, Dea was impaled by a sharp knife in her chest.

Dea held onto her chest which was painful. I don't know since when Dea felt different about Shady. Getting to know him for this one year, made Dea feel a strange thump in her heart. Their relationship begins to improve, and Shady begins to trust him.

But after the incident this morning, it can be ascertained if their relationship will return cold. I don't know why Dea feels sorry for making Shady apologize.
