Moving On
S2 Chapter 12

Lana woke up with a disjointed breath. He had just had a nightmare at the time. His face looked terrified with sweat pouring down. His clothes were wet even though he was in an AC room. Lana looked at Luke's face carefully. The man sat on the sofa with his eyes closed. Not wearing clothes to make a bandage gunshot scar last night looks so clear.

Lana paused for a few seconds to remember everything that happened. The woman remembered Morgan again before she closed her eyes, “Did I only dream last night?” lana said with a confused face, “If it was true last night I met Morgan, I should now be with him. Then why am I in this house with Lukas?”

Lana looked at the bright light outside the window. The woman lowered her legs one by one before walking closer to Luke. His steps stopped when he saw that his clothes had been changed.

“Who changed my clothes?” lana was confused. From the shirt he now wears, he already knows that the white shirt belongs to Luke. Without even bothering about the appearance, Lana continued her footsteps.

A white bandage with red blood clearly visible on Luke's arm became the center of his attention. The last time he parted with his girlfriend, the man's condition was still fine. The wound did indeed make a question mark in Lana's heart.

Lana sat down beside Luke while looking at Luke's face intently. His lips carved a smile as he looked at the tired face of the tough man he loved. One of his fingers gently rubbed Luke's hair. He slowly brought his lips closer to the man he loved with a radiant smile. That morning he wanted to wake Luke by kissing him.

“Are you okay?” luke said slowly.

Lana stopped her head from moving. His eyebrows intertwined when he failed to kiss his girlfriend that morning, “You're awake but pretending to be asleep?” lana was upset.

Luke sighed and then adjusted his sitting position. Highlight his eyes looked at Lana's face carefully, “Do you not want to say anything?” luke said full of probes. The man wants to know, what happened before Morgan took Lana.

“No,” replied Lana in a slow tone. Lana daydreams to recall her encounter with Morgan, “I shot Morgan in my dream. Why is your arm bleeding. I also shot the right part.” Lana holds Luke's arm which was hit by a gunshot wound.

“Why can you shoot him?” ask Luke again. The man was not satisfied with his girlfriend's answer.

“I promised you I'd shoot him if I met him. In my dream I met him. So, I shot.” Lana smiled grinning. His body felt so tired that he thought that his meeting with Morgan was just a dream.

“You dreamed of it?” luke said as he brought his face closer to Lana.

Lana looked at Luke's face carefully, “I didn't plan it. If I could order a dream that I would experience then I would ask to dream of you every night.”

Luke flicked Lana's forehead with a finger. The man did not end up thinking with the stupid and innocent attitude of his lover, “Sometimes you look like a very smart and genius woman. But, this morning I saw you like a stupid woman who is quite silly.”

“What are you doing!” lana protested while holding her reddened forehead and was in pain.

“You did meet him. It wasn't all a dream. I even risked my life to snatch you from him.” Luke threw his gaze in the other direction. Her face was visibly upset when she heard the answers Lana had said. There is no one answer that satisfies him.

Lana immediately hugged Luke with a guilty face. The woman closed her eyes, “I'm sorry.”

“If I ask you to kill him, would you do it?” Lukas is still curious about the contents of Lana's heart and mind. He was afraid of disappointment and getting betrayal from the woman. Although in his little heart he already believes 100 percent in Lana.

“Of course,” replied Lana in a soft voice.

“Then, how else to answer it. You just keep cornering me because I have a relationship with your old enemy,” Lana said as she took off her arms.

“You still love him?” lukas asked without caring about Lana's face which had indeed turned upset.

“If I still love her. I've been poisoning you since last night so you die and I can go back with her,” Lana replied with a reddened face from holding back anger. Even the woman's breath was clearly visible if it now turned congested.

“You intend to poison me?” asked Luke with raised eyebrows.

“You're a bitch, Lukas!” lana shouted with uncontrollable emotions. The woman moved from her seat to leave Luke at the spot.

With a quick movement Luke pulled Lana's hand. Hugged Lana then raised her hand slowly. The man gently rubbed his lover's back, “I won't bother him anymore.”

“You are indeed a pretty annoying polar guy. Morgan lost his eyes at the time. Is it true you did it?” lana asked carefully.

“Yes,” Lukas replied with a happy smile. At least he had tortured his opponent to such an extent.

“Now he can see again. I'm pretty sure, he will avenge you,” said Lana while holding Luke's cheek, “I'm so worried about you.”

Luke holds Lana's hand with a smiling lip, “I will win against her. Since then until now. The man will never be able to win against me,” Lukas replied confidently.

Lana looked down with a confused face, “There is something important that I want to tell you since yesterday.”

Luke looked at Lana before touching the woman's chin. He slowly pulled Lana's chin in order to clearly stare at the woman's face, “Say.”

“I never had any intention to harm you all this time. I never worked with Morgan to set you up. I did have a relationship with him, but that doesn't mean I'll be with him forever. Ever since he left I've cut off the relationship between us. It's just ...” Lana held back her sentence. There was doubt on his face when he wanted to reveal his heart at that moment.

“Lana, I trusted you from the beginning. You were picked by Boss Zeroun directly. Boss Zeroun never mistakenly chose people. If I didn't believe you, I might have shot you in Monaco.” Luke looked at Lana's face carefully. Highlight his eyes filled with a sincere heart if he really loves Lana.

“Not just that. Lukas, you're a pretty loyal guy and don't haphazardly approach women. Different me. You're not my first man anymore, Luke. Someone had snatched it first.” Lana's heart was broken when she said the pain she had experienced. In that instant he was ready to accept the decision that Luke would take.

“Morgan?” put Luke with a face that doesn't like.

“Not. I don't even know who. The only clue I have is a key toy. Looks like the guy left her after he finished staining me.” Lana carved a bitter smile. The woman re-imagined the bad times first when she first lost the thing she had been guarding, “I couldn't find her. The man disappeared without a trace. We were both drunk that night. I was trapped by my friend so I couldn't prevent it from the beginning.”

Luke looked at Lana's face carefully. Lana's story reminded her of past events she had experienced, “Granada.”
