S2 Chapter 59

Luke walked into Lana's room. The man stood in the doorway while looking at Lana's face. He closed the door again and walked inside. His face looked very worried. But, now when I see Lana is fine. Luke can calm down. The man sat in a small chair beside the bed. Little away.

Lana carved a smile as she looked at Luke. The pain was not coming back that night. Lana can look a little calm. Not like it was this afternoon. His body must be tormented by pain. The woman patted her bed next to Luke to be next to her. There were a lot of things he wanted to ask that night.

Luke got up from the chair he was sitting in. The man walked slowly closer to the position Lana was in. He got on the bed and sat a little more aside. Lana was beside him in a leaning position. The woman opened Luke's hand and dropped her head on his lover's burly arm.

“Don't stay with me. At least, until I really go,” said Lana in a soft voice.

“I don't like you saying such a sentence,” protest Luke with a dislike face.

“I won't leave before you truly belong to me,” replied Lana again. The woman spoke out not in conjunction with the sentence she said. There was a small laugh that Lana deliberately made.

Lukas breathed. The man lowered his head to look at Lana's face leaning against his burly arms.

“What do you feel now?” Luke took Lana's hand and held it tightly. The man gently rubbed the back of Lana's hand.

“Tonight my body felt much better than it was this afternoon. I can also help Miss Emelie earlier. I'm not even sure I can do it,” Lana said, bowing her head.

“The virus will react at night during the process of spreading throughout the body. After the virus has taken possession of your body, then you will feel tremendous pain,” Luke muttered inwardly.

Luke looked at Lana's lowered head. The man looks confused by the expression of his girlfriend's face, “Lana, what do you think?” Luke scrunched his forehead.

“I'm just confused, why in the moment when I hate Agent Mia she looks so good. Then when I believed him he turned into evil like this,” Lana replied in a soft voice.

“Mia cooperates with Morgan. I didn't expect it before either. The game was beautiful enough that Boss Zeroun alone could be fooled and never suspect him. Including me,” Lukas replied with a sorry face.

Indeed Agent Mia's tricks are pretty good at fooling Zeroun and everyone all along. The slightest trace he left behind made Luke and the others suspicious.

Lukas re-imagines Zeroun's face in the car. The man looked very sorry and blamed himself. He's never been careless before. But, anyway. Zeroun is just a human. Not always he behaves perfectly without the slightest mistake. His helmet this time made a strange taste in the hearts of Luke and Zeroun.

“Now where is Agent Mia?” Lana looked at Luke's dreamy face.

“Bos Zeroun asks Gold Dragon troops to lock up Agent Mia before making a decision later.” Lukas rubbed gently on Lana's cheek, “Do not think of anything else. Now you have to think of yourself.”

“Lana, I won't let you leave me this way. Trust me. I'll definitely find an antidote. Soon, you'll be back to health as usual.” Luke placed both his hands on the right and left side of Lana's cheeks.

“I'm so lucky to know a nice guy like you, Lukas. Thank you for being a part of my life.” Lana holds both of Luke's hands on her cheeks. The woman clasped Luke's hands before releasing him. He drew his face closer before kissing Luke's lips while closing his eyes.

Luke returns Lana's kiss with great emotion and tenderness. One hand pulled Lana's waist away from her body. That night Luke was afraid. Very afraid of losing Lana. But, as much as possible he hid his fear so that Lana was not sad when she looked at his face.

“I'll fight to get that antidote. Despite the life of the stakes, Lana,” muttered Luke in the heart while closing his eyes.

On the other side.

Agent Mia was dragged forcibly into a narrow room and filled with dust. There was no light or air coming into the room. The only access to be in it is only through the door.

Agent Mia stared sinisterly at the Gold Dragon's face which dragged forcefully through her body. The woman carved a small smile, “You will also feel the same rice as me. Why do you believe them? Anytime they can kill you.”

But, the Gold Dragon army carrying Agent Mia did not waver in the least. They're more busy tying Agent Mia's body in a chair before leaving the woman alone in it. Without words or answers. The door is back closed.

Agent Mia looked around the room she was in before shouting loudly. The woman did not accept the punishment she now got, “I should be able to escape from this place. I will take my revenge on all of you. You also have to feel the suffering that I have been feeling.”

Agent Mia laughed so hard that her voice filled the room. The room was cold and scary. It was even more terrifying than the prison he had been in at that time.

If while in prison there is Inspector Tao and several other inmates who accompany him. But, tonight Agent Mia is alone. It is as if he is alienated from the life that should fill his days.

Agent Mia's down inside. After laughing merrily like an insane person. Suddenly Agent Mia wants to cry. The woman again lamented her life all along. He wakes up in a hospital and is helped by Inspector Tao.

The shadow of the heinous massacre against the Alexander family again filled his memory. Inspector Tao accompanied him all this time. Agent Mia feels that her life has been on the right track all along. But reality is not that easy. His encounter with the Gold Dragon had actually made a calamity until now.

“Sister Tao, where are you. I really need you,” Agent Mia said as she closed her eyes. The tears that had been shedding profusely had stopped. Agent Mia's body looks very tired. The woman closed her eyes to rest. He wants to sleep and dream beautiful in order to forget the burden that now fills his mind. The next day he had to wake up and remember all the pain.
