S2 Chapter 55

Luke placed Lana's body on the bed. The man sat on the edge of the bed with a worried face, “Which part hurts?”

Lana shook her head slowly, “I don't know. My whole body hurts.”

From the direction of the door, the female doctor who had taken care of Emelie entered Lana's room. The doctor came on orders given by Emelie. The royal princess was very worried when she heard that Lana had been poisoned. Next to the female Doctor was Agent Mia who was carrying a glass of water.

“Drink,” Agent Mia says while putting the glass on the nightstand.

Luke glanced at the glass with a suspicious look. The man was quite wary of the disease that his girlfriend is now receiving, “Do you want to drink it?” luke said to Agent Mia.

Agent Mia widened her eyes with a look of dislike, “Are you accusing me of having bad intentions towards her?” agent Mia said with the tone starting to rise, “I will drink it so you believe.”

Agent Mia took the glass she was carrying. The woman took a sip of water that was in the glass, “Are you satisfied!” Agent Mia slams the still-filled glass back onto the nightstand. He left the room with a sad face.

Luke didn't really care about Agent Mia's feelings that morning. All he knows is, Agent Mia is not a traitor.

“Why are you accusing him? She is a good woman,” Lana said as she looked at Luke's face with a sad face.

“I just don't know what to do at the moment.” Luke looked at the female Doctor standing beside him, “Dok, you don't need to check on Lana. We already know how he is doing right now. Lana is banned from taking any medication for her safety.”

The female doctor carved a smile, “Alright. Then excuse me first, Mr.”

Luke nodded before looking at Lana's face again. He took Lana's hand and grasped it tightly, “I'll find the antidote soon. Steady, Lana. If this pain can be removed. I'll ask for this pain to be inside my body.”

Lana carves a thin smile, “Where is the antidote?”

“I don't know. There are some city names that we have to go to. Doctor said, in one of those cities we'll find the poison maker.”

“You are sure the person who made the poison is still in the city?” lana asked with a frowning forehead.

“What do you mean, Lana?” Luke seems confused by Lana's question.

“I know Morgan. He already knew how the enemy he was currently facing. The man who made the poison must be with Morgan. You don't have to check the city one by one. But, look for Morgan's current whereabouts.” Lana closed her eyes to suppress the pain she was suffering from.

“Thank you, Darling. I'm going to find a poison maker at Morgan.”'s headquarters Luke lands a kiss on the top of Lana's head, “Hold. I'll be right back with the antidote.”

Lana nodded slowly. The woman looked at Luke's departure with a small smile, “But I'm not sure if he's still in town.”

Luke walked quickly towards the door. Just a few feet away, his steps had to come back to a standstill. Zeroun stands up to prevent Luke's departure.

“Close with me,” Zeroun said as he walked into a room not far from the room.

Luke followed Zeroun's steps from behind. He knew his boss was asking for an explanation.

“I'm sorry, Boss.”

“Lukas, you've changed a lot lately. Is this because of Lana?” zeroun said with a serious face.

Luke raised his head to stare directly at Zeroun's face, “This is not all because of Lana, Boss.”

Zeroun sighed, “Now tell me what happened to Lana this time.”

Lukas looked back. The man recounted his last conversation with Morgan after Zeroun left. Even the examination conducted by the doctor in the laboratory also he told so clearly without wanting to cover it up again.

“You have a problem of this magnitude and intend to keep it a secret from me?” zeroun protest with one eyebrow raised.

“I'm sorry, Boss.”

“Then now, what do you want to do?” Zeroun pulled out his phone and swiped at his phone screen.

“I want to find Morgan, Boss. I want to find the whereabouts of the person who made the poison to ask for the antidote.”

“You know where Morgan is currently?” asked Zeroun casually still with a gaze to the phone screen.

Luke was silent for a moment. The man again digested the question sentence that Zeroun had just addressed to him, “Morgan has left this city, Boss?”

“It seems so,” Zeroun replied casually.

Luke looks very upset. His last hope of meeting Morgan had to fail before he fought.

“But, don't worry. I'll help you meet him.” Zeroun stuck his phone in his ear. Highlight his sharp eyes staring at Luke's face closely, “Go. Accompany Lana. Tonight we will meet him,” Zeroun said with a small smile.

Luke seemed doubtful. But, Zeroun never reneged on his promise. Lukas is pretty sure that Zeroun will help him this time, “Thank you, Boss.”

Zeroun nodded while waiting for someone to answer his phone. The tough guy looked at the back of Luke who had left the room, “It turns out that way when he was in love,”, said Zeroun with a small laugh.

Even though the problems they face are very difficult. But there was confidence in Zeroun's heart that he would make it through. Zeroun puts his phone back in his pocket when someone he contacts doesn't pick up his phone either, “Where is he.”

Zeroun got up from the chair he was sitting in. He walked away to leave the room. That morning Zeroun wanted to go back to accompany his wife who was not well. As with Luke, He also did not want to be far from the woman he loved. He wanted to accompany Emelie and was always on her side.

Zeroun's phone rings again. Zeroun took out his phone and stuck it in his ear. The man carved a smile as he saw the name of the person he needed written on the phone screen, “I want to see you tonight. There are important things that make our plan must be accelerated. This concerns the safety of my subordinates.”

Zeroun carves a small smile when he gets approval from his interlocutor, “Alright. We met at the same place and hour when we met before.” He put his phone back in his pocket. His heart was again relieved when he imagined his new plan was now running smoothly.
