Moving On
S2 Chapter 86

Lana turned her body. The woman looked at the face of Morgan who was standing not far from her.

“Good day, Lana. It's good to see you again. Thank you for still seeing me,” welcome Morgan with both open arms. The man had high hopes that Lana would embrace him lovingly.

“There's something important I want to tell you. You don't have to pretend that there's no problem between us. Because until this second also our position is on the opposite side.” Lana folded her hands in front of her chest.

Lana and Morgan stared at each other. This time their meeting was not for fighting. There is a problem that they have not solved before. That afternoon Lana wanted to meet Morgan and explain everything. He does not want to be in a position of constant guilt. He wants to live a quiet and happy life with Luke.

“You betrayed me, Lana. From the beginning I knew that the antidote could not be made. The man told me. There were only two bottles of poison and two bottles of antidote. He won't be able to make the antidote again if I eliminate all the antidotes. But, do you know Lana. When I hate you so much. I kept one bottle of the antidote.”

Morgan carved a smile that was enough to describe his wounded heart, “I don't want you to die. Even I was thinking of kidnapping you and curing you back then.”

“Do you think I'll believe your lies?” lana said with an illegible look. The woman lowered her folded hands before clenching them so tightly.

“You who made our relationship become like this, Lana,” firmly Morgan with a reddened face for holding back anger.

“You broke my heart first. You were the first to hurt me, Morgan!” lana shouted in a hysterical voice. The woman was no longer thinking about her rice at this moment. He wanted to say one word that he had always felt.

“Lana, you,” Morgan's speech restrained. It was never imagined that Lana would say such an insinuating sentence. It was quite painful and chest-stifling for Morgan.

“After everything happened and I've managed to get my heart back together. It's easy for you to say that I hurt you. I left you. Did you ever think before you said it? You taught me how to hurt, so now don't blame me for hurting your heart.”

“Lana, you can't be with him. You're mine!” Morgan grasped Lana's arm quite tightly. Highlight her sharp eyes stared at Lana's face without blinking. The man was unwilling to see Lana turn and return in another man's arms. Morgan wants Lana to stay with him.

“If ever, I always looked right at the mistakes you made. But this time, I'm not the same Lana you used to know.” Lana threw Morgan's hand which kept trying to hold her back.

"Lana," said Morgan in a soft voice.

"Goodbye, Morgan. I hope you're never in my life again."

Morgan stood pecking with teeth clashing against each other. The man clenched his hands tightly before throwing away his eyes. He no longer had words of defense or persuasion to keep Lana together. That moment Morgan surrendered. He really should let Lana be happy with another man.

Lana walked away from that place. He no longer wanted to twist his body to see Morgan's current state. His heart was quite relieved because it managed to vent his heart pain during this time. At least today Morgan knew what he felt when the man left. How hurt and disappointed Lana was at that time.

From behind a fairly sturdy concrete pole, Luke stood with his body leaning. The man heard clearly the conversation between Morgan and Lana. He deliberately did not appear because there was no danger that he needed to be aware of at that time. His heart was quite relieved when he heard Lana's rejection. At the end of the story, Lana still chose him and became his.

Not yet had Luke had the thought to leave the place, suddenly the sound of the squealing tires of the car was so close. Luke turned his body to look toward the source of the car's sound.

Several burly men surrounded Morgan's body. The men had sharp weapons and firearms. Luke looked at the scene closely. He's not interested in doing anything. Luke prefers to be a spectator.

Morgan carved a contemptuous smile before taking out his sharp weapon. The man was ready to fight even though it was one against many. He is not sure he will win because the condition of his body is not fine.

“That night we helped you. You better say thank you,” said the man confidently.

Morgan turned his lips to the side. He's not interested in saying thank you. Instead his face looked sick of seeing the figure that was now standing before him.

Morgan first attacked. The man does not accept being insulted. Morgan's quick movement was able to make one pretty hard punch. Not accepting their leader was injured, all the troops brought by the mysterious man took up their firearms. They were ready to take Morgan's life that very second.

But one thing is unexpected. Lana appears and beats men who are not comparable to her abilities. From a distance, Lukas was shocked to see the fight. His hands were firmly clenched with teeth bluffing each other. Luke is quite disappointed to see the woman he loves now fighting for another man. But, he could not just sit there as a spectator. His heart would be much more hurt when he saw the woman he loved hurt.

Luke runs to help Lana. Yep. Just for Lana's sake, all that she did. Seeing Morgan being attacked certainly made a sense of satisfaction in his heart. But not with the scene that is now happening.

Lana stops her fight for a moment when she sees Luke suddenly appear. The woman did not know how and what to say. He prefers to continue his fight and try to win.

Luke and Morgan both beat up the unidentified plotters. At first glance they looked at each other with resentful gazes before continuing their fight.

Lana fell with a cut on her face. The woman looked at the two men who were now fighting with all their might. In a matter of seconds, Lana was gripped. Now there were two men who had filled his heart. If one is missing, the other remains.

Lana got up and carved a smile. If Lukas and Morgan had been such friends, he would have felt much calmer. Although Lana herself was aware, it was quite an impossible request.

A man held up his firearm. He pointed the gun to Lana's standing position. For him if he can't beat Morgan, he can at least kill Lana.

Luke and Morgan both saw the terrifying sight. Luke takes out his firearm and shoots at the man who wants to hurt Lana. But Luke's movements were too late. The second Luke's bullet came out, the man's two bullets first targeted Lana's body.

Lana looked at the two bullets that were hurtling towards her. The woman was eager to avoid becoming a victim of the bullet. But, his movements seemed to have stopped. The woman was silent and closed her eyes as if resigned to the death that was after her.
