S2 Chapter 45

Gold Dragon headquarters, an hour later.

“What is this pain?” emelie said while cleaning the wound on the corner of Zeroun's lips. The woman sat before Zeroun and looked at Zeroun's face so thoroughly.

“No pain,” Zeroun replied in a fairly soft voice. The man threw his gaze in the other direction. It's almost late at night. But, the subordinates that he had ordered to carry out the secret mission had not returned. Zeroun is afraid, if Lana's life is really in danger.

If it does happen. Then Zeroun will have no more courage to stand before Luke.

“What do you think?” Emelie put down the cloth she used to compress Zeroun's wounds. The woman carved a smile before sitting on her husband's lap, “Think of the hazy Arron?”

Zeroun carves a thin smile, “No. I don't think about it anymore. In a moment we will succeed in defeating him.” The man draped both his hands around Emelie's waist, “I was just thinking about the plan I've put together to win this fight. I've sacrificed someone.”

Emelie carved a small smile. Both hands he put on the right and left side of Zeroun's cheeks, “You're a pretty great leaping man. I'm pretty sure that you won't give up just because of this kind of problem. Fight while you still can. Do not waste the opportunity that is already available in front of the eyes.”

“Since when do you look excited to support me like this?” Zeroun brought his nose closer to Emelie's. Their breaths could be clearly felt on the skin of each face.

“Since I married you. All things related to you, slowly I began to love. I also do not want to be a wife who complicates her husband,” replied Emelie with a small laugh.

“Thank you, Darling.” Zeroun lands a friendly kiss on Emelie's lips. His touch was very gentle and full of affection.

Their eyes closed to each other to enjoy the time they now feel together. Unfortunately, that friendly scene could not continue to the next stage. Someone had been standing in front of Zeroun's room door and knocking on that door for quite a fast duration.

Zeroun took Emelie off her lap. The man walked towards the door. He hopes that the person who appears is the one who brings good news. He could never hear bad news so soon.

Zeroun pulled the door in a quick motion. He saw a man who from the beginning had been assigned to do the secret mission. There was a satisfied smile on Zeroun's lips even though the man had yet to utter a single word.

“Good night, Boss. Everything is going smoothly according to plan,” said the man while bowing his body.

Luke, who was standing not far from the man, was seen frowning. He was confused by the sentence that his subordinates had just said. Next to Luke is Agent Mia who also looks confused.

“Good,” connect Zeroun with a breath that comes back relieved.

Emelie appeared with a smile. The woman looked at the face of the man carrying the information before looking at the faces of Luke and Agent Mia, “Have we won?”

“Yes, Honey,” replied Zeroun steady.

Luke is confused. He knows enough that Arron escaped and now does not know where he is hiding. At any time, the man can show up and make a counterattack later. But, with a face full of confidence Zeroun said they had won. Luke did not understand. What kind of victory was now meant by the Gold Dragon's big boss.

“Sorry, Boss. But I don't know where Arron is hiding.” Lukas looked down with a face full of questions.

“Let's pick you up, Lana,” said Zeroun with a faint smile.

The words that Zeroun spoke managed to make Agents Mia and Luke surprised. But not with Emelie. The woman embraced her husband's arm with a happy smile. Not having to wait for days, then Lana will soon become a member of the Gold Drgaon again.

“I know, if you deliberately made that strategy to win the fight with White Tiger,” Emelie said as she looked at Zeroun's face.

“Thank you for believing in me, Darling.” Zeroun gently rubbed Emelie's hair. The man was quite happy because at a time when everyone doubted his decision, but Emelie instead supported him with love, “If they could enter a traitor in the middle of the Gold Dragon, he said, then I can do the same.”

“We have to go to attack Arron. He's hiding somewhere right now. I want to beat him tonight too,”, Zeroun said, looking at Emelie's face.

Emelie nodded in agreement, “I'm so tired. I will try to protect myself from danger,” replied Emelie with smiling lips.

“You'll be fine here. The White Tiger Army had already lost. They will no longer have any thoughts of attacking our headquarters.” Zeroun lands a kiss on Emelie's head.

“Be careful,” Emelie said in a very soft voice.

Zeroun nodded then twisted his body. Her steps looked very calm with her favorite cold expression. Behind Zeroun are Agents Mia and Luke who appear to be loyal to accompany Zeroun.

Luke looks very happy. He can't wait to meet the woman he loves. Though, if tomorrow morning there is no good news about Lana. Luke is determined to help the woman secretly, despite having to defy Zeroun's orders.

“You are indeed a pretty great Boss. I could never read your mind. All of these strategies are only thought of in a matter of days. I hope, tonight it can all be over,” murmured Luke inwardly.

Luke gets into the car to take over the wheel. The man drove his car at high speed because he could not wait to see his girlfriend's face.

“Lana, I'm so happy that you're okay. I know you're not a traitor. From the very beginning, my heart has believed in you that you are a pretty good woman,” Luke muttered inwardly.

Next to Luke was Agent Mia who was looking down in confusion. He looked confused and didn't know what else to do. Looks like the secret that Agent Mia has will also be revealed soon. Alertly, Agent Mia has prepared herself if the bad thing really happens.
