S2 Chapter 38

Emelie grasped Zeroun's suit so firmly. Both of his eyes were closed with intermittent breathing. His heart was not upset when he heard the ear-shrinking explosion. Now the woman's position is down. There was Zeroun hugging his waist who was now also lying down beside Emelie.

Zeroun moved from his position and pulled Emelie into his arms. He did not care about his new headquarters that was already reduced to rubble. The man was more worried about his wife's current state.

“Darling, are you okay?”

Emelie moved her head to look at Zeroun's face. How cruel the royal princess was when she saw her beloved husband's forehead covered with blood. While jumping from the window, Zeroun was forced to break through the glass window. Accidentally, the piece of glass hurt Zeroun's forehead.

“Zeroun, you're hurt,” said Emelie worried. The woman held onto Zeroun's forehead with a horrified feeling.

“I'm fine. Most importantly right now, you're fine.” Zeroun rubbed Emelie's cheek gently.

“I'm so worried about you,” Emelie said before hugging Zeroun. It was quite difficult to be calm and fine in the midst of such a situation. Whatever happens, Emelie still feels never calm. There was no word alright for Emelie before the battle resulted in victory.

On the other side. Agent Mia sat down while folding her legs. Both of his hands locked his flexed legs in a position looking at Zeroun and Emelie. From the beginning he had been sincere to see the man he loved had married another woman. But, getting here. It's getting harder to forget about Zeroun.

“Sugary man. He looks different in fighting and in treating his woman,” Agent Mia muttered inwardly.

Luke stood up and extended his hand towards Lana. The tough guy was quite relieved when he saw the woman he loved was fine. His lips carved a smile with a radiant face. After Lana managed to stand before him, Luke began to notice the remaining Gold Dragon army. Although the explosion was quite large, but most of the Gold Drgaon team managed to survive. This made Lukas breathe again.

“Are you okay?” lana said while looking at Luke's face.

“Ya,” Reply Luke briefly. The man searches for the whereabouts of Zeroun and Emelie. His lips carved a happy smile upon seeing the beloved Boss also survive.

“Lukas, why did they know our headquarters so soon?” lana said as she looked at Luke's face carefully.

Lana's question made everyone's attention focused only on her. Zeroun has never been this careless in choosing a headquarters. Never so soon have they been attacked by the enemy.

Zeroun and Emelie stood up while looking at the faces of Lana and Luke. Zeroun's hands were embracing Emelie's waist so possessively. Enough of that thrilling explosive drama. After this, Zeroun did not want any such scene in his life. He did not want to lose quickly to Arron again.

Mia also moved from her sitting position. He twisted his body without even letting out a word. The woman did not want to linger at the location.

“Mia,” chirps Emelie with a slightly raised voice.

Mia stopped her footsteps. He glanced at Emelie's face briefly before bowing respectfully, “Can I help you, Princess?”

“Good, Princess,” said Mia with a heavy heart. His head was still lowered without even looking at Emelie or Zeroun's face again.

Zeroun looks at Luke's face closely, “Search for new headquarters. I'll stay at the hotel until our new headquarters is found.”

“Good, Boss.” Luke looked down respectfully. Followed by the other Gold Dragon troops.

“One more, search for this problem. I'm pretty sure there's a traitor in our gang. His betrayal this time was smart enough to make me unaware of his presence,” Zeroun continued with an illegible look. I don't know who the purpose of that sentence is. Highlight Zeroun's eyes looked at Mia and Lana's faces with probing gazes.

Luke looked at Zeroun's face with a puzzled look. Of all the troops now around him there is no new one. All those old fellows who were definitely loyal to Gold Dragon. The orders given by Zeroun leave Luke confused and do not know what to do.

“I'll try to find him, Boss.”

Zeroun nodded slowly before taking Emelie away from the location. Their car is still intact, making it easier for Zeroun to travel. Again the man had to suffer a huge loss because his headquarters was destroyed. Though his heartache has not healed when his plane was destroyed.

Emelie looked at Zeroun's face while walking. One hand gently rubbed Zeroun's arm, “All will be fine. I know you're thinking about this.”

Zeroun stopped his footsteps. Her hands make Emelie's waist rotate until their positions face each other, “I'm sorry.” Zeroun's fingers tucked Emelie's hair behind her ears. Her lips carved a smile so that Emelie would no longer worry about her condition.

“I would be sad if you had a gloomy face like this,” Emelie said as she gently rubbed Zeroun's cheek, “Smile. We're gonna face all these problems together. I know, I'm not great. But, I can help little by little.” Emelie blinked one eye.

Zeroun chuckled when he heard Emelie's words, “You helped a lot. Not just a little help, honey. Mia and Lana seem to have a hard time defeating the man. But, you with one shot have managed to win.” Zeroun pinched Emelie's cheek in anxiety, “You are indeed my wife. A great woman I love so much. Thank you for your help today, Darling.”

“I am willing to help again if needed,” replied Emelie excitedly.

“You must remember. This gun is for you to protect. The martial technique I taught you is also to protect you. Not to fight and win a fight like I do now,” Zeroun said to remind Emelie again.

“Ya, yes. I understand.” Emelie folds both hands in front of chest, “Let's find the best hotel that has international supervision. At least tonight we feel safe sleeping inside the hotel.”

“Come on, Baby,” Zeroun replied excitedly.

Zeroun carved a smile before opening the car door. The man looked at the face of the Gold Dragon troops standing not far from the position. Zeroun gave one a code before getting into the car.

There's an order Zeroun has prepared. The Gold Dragon troops that obtained the order had to execute it immediately. This time, Zeroun was forced to keep his orders a secret from Luke. There was a grand plan he had thought of for the sake of his victory in the fight against the White Tiger.
