MNB CHAPTER 106 - Let go
Keenan stood at the door of Tessa's room, his hands full of flowers, chocolate and meat soup.
"Come on, Kee. Consider it nothing happened," he said so that he looks ordinary in front of Tessa.
After quite strengthening his heart, Keenan opened the door of the nursing room.
Inside, Silver and Flo bring Raphael to comfort Tessa.
"Aunty don't cry anymore, okay." Raphael rubbed Tessa's tears as he continued to fall.
Tessa smiled and kissed the small hand that rubbed her cheek. "Thanks, Raphael!"
"Let's go with mommy!" Flo lifted Raphael into his carriage. He and Silver seem to have to go home, surely his sister needs time together with his wife.
"Mom.." call Flo.
Silver stood up and rubbed Tessa's hair. "Mommy came home first, your husband has come!"
As much as possible Tessa gave her best smile. She tried hard but the defense collapsed after seeing her husband.
"I brought flowers and chocolates" Keenan said as he approached his wife. "I also cook meat soup, you must taste my dishes made with the power of a master chef!"
But Tessa's tears kept dripping, which made Keenan embrace his wife.
"I'm sorry, Kee. I really didn't know I was pregnant, I felt sick and I thought it was because I was late for the month. I checked with a pregnancy test kit but the results were blurred so I didn't tell you. It's all my fault for being negligent" said Tessa, whose fragile hands hugged Keenan as she sobbed.
"There's nothing wrong here so don't think so, let's let Keesa Mark I go" Keenan said.
"Keesa Mark I?" tessa asked while stopping her crying.
"I gave him that name" Keenan replied without a burden.
"My son is a robot!" Tessa replied while chuckling. Keenan could always make her laugh.
Keenan tidied Tessa's hair and slipped it behind her ear.
"I promise after this I'll tell you whatever I've experienced" Tessa said, raising her little finger.
Keenan breathed a sigh of relief now. "If anything happens to you, I'll never forgive myself, so keep your promise baby!"
"I promise!" Tessa said as she put her little finger together with her husband.
Both are trying to strengthen each other, maybe God has not given trust to couples who are still unstable like them. They hope that this incident will be a valuable lesson in the future.
"Beat soup?" Tessa started smiling looking at the soup in front of her that her husband had just opened.
"Eat, you must recover quickly!" Keenan gave a spoon to his wife.
"It looks so good" cried Tessa who began to feed the soup into her mouth.
And the first bribe, Tessa immediately liked it.
"It's delicious" Tessa said with teary eyes. "I want to cry!"
Despite trying to forget, Tessa still can not hide her sadness.
The next day, Tessa was released. When he arrived at the apartment, the first place he looked for was a warehouse where he kept the needs of babies that Tessa had bought.
Tessa cried again there and it made Keenan look for ideas to comfort his wife.
"Let's go to the room, here's the ghost" Keenan said, holding Tessa. He took one baby shirt to take to the room.
In the room, Keenan put the baby shirt on the bed.
"Consider this Keesa Mark I, he will sleep with us from now on" Keenan said.
"Yes, this is much better." Tessa lay down hugging the baby's shirt and kissing him. "I'm sorry, Kee. I'm not whiny and not accepting, I just need a little more time to forget!"
"I'm not asking you to forget, I'm asking you to let go" Keenan replied.
